Hidden subscription
Ordered for 4.99 following an instragram advert. Was never made clear that I had entered into a subscription. Received an email today to let me know another order was on its way. Subscription now found and cancelled. All very strange. Looked back the email confirmation following my initial order and no mention at all of it being part of a subscription.

Love the moisturiser with SPF 50
Love the moisturiser with SPF 50. My skin feels soft and the redness has reduced, particularly around my nose. And I feel protected with the SPF50 (even though I live in cloudy Northern Ireland 🙂)

Great product but……
Great product. But 18ml?? It’s not enough. They’ve cleverly put a very small bottle inside a large bottle inside a fancy pants box.
I’d much rather have more of the product and forget about the packaging please.

No duty of care
Changed from 2 stars to 1 Star. I emailed sharing my skincare journey, and the response was speedy but that's not a good thing as their emails are extremely brief and seem to be aiming quantity rather than quality. I was told I needed to register and pay before a dermatologist would review the information I sent. So I did this, and provided photos of my face. To be told quite quickly that they would not be offering me treatment, which is completely fine. My problem is rather than providing an actual reason why they did a generalised response. 'The reason why we cannot do the treatment could be for these possible reasons..' It wasn't personal, and didn't provide any tips on what I would need to do before my skin was in the position to be able to recieve a treatment. It felt transactional, rather actually caring about my skincare journey. If provided with information on how to get my skin to a better position rather than 'see your gp', I could have been a future customer. Now I have to wait for a refund, and I'm still non the wiser on how to improve my current skin condition. Definitely needs more empathy and care in their philosophy, as well as educational responses for all, as there are those who aren't sure what to do next if their treatment has been rejected. Say what you will about Dermatica and Skin & Me, but their customer services, educational feedback, empathy were amazing. The actual prescribers email you with them and talk to you, but And Begin it's all through agents who have no medical knowledge to help you further. After a few emails throughout the day I was 'politely' told no, and sent on my way, basically.no discussion no further information. I don't care if the answer is no to a treatment, as I don't want to damage my skin any further, but my experience means even if my skin did get better I will not be using this brand if customer experience isn't at the forefront of their missions. No duty of care at all!

Good but inconsistent packaging
Definitely made a difference to my skin and evened out my skin tone. I have had a few different size bottles since I've been using them and now looks like they are switching to the same bottle and Skin+Me which I really dislike their tubes as they often break or don't stand very well. Not sure I feel the luxury price is reflected in the product anymore

Extra requirements after paying
It's too early toast me to fairly rate; I've literally just placed the order. I have no idea on quality, speed of delivery, value of money YET; I only ordered it a couple of hours ago.
BUT I was not impressed that AFTER PAYING I had to upload a set of facial phots else I'd get a non-personalised product i.e. I wouldn't get the headline grabbing item that led me to this site in the first place. PLEASE NOTE payment was taken THEN they told me there were extra requirements before I would get the item, namely selfies which some people may not be comfortable taking.

Not all it's seem to be
Whilst it was a good to have all the questions to see what skin care you need. I was dissappointment to receive the deseciving large bottle that actuall holds much less contents.
I also do not recall signing up to a subscription which I've now had to pay for my 2nd bottle that i had no intention of ordering. Very dissapointed
