Shocking Customer Service
This is the first company review i've written, and I'm sad to say it's been an appoling experience, for the sake of an item value of €15/16..
If there was somewhere here i could upload the conversation on live chat i would..
It started when i needed a new mud gaurd for the E-scooter.
The delivery took almost 2 weeks, when it was supposed to take up to 5 days..
I chose the: Aovo Eletric Scooter Mudguard | mudguard for all similar AOVO M365 Pro / xiaomi M365 pro series eletric scooter.
The product that arrived was not as described in the images or description, I specificly choose this product to replace my mudguard as the hook had broken on the previous mudguard, therefore i was unable to fold down the scooter and use the clasp on the handelbars to clip them in place.
( this seems trivial, but that's the function of the hook on the mudguard).
Anyway, there was no hook, so i contacted CS with images and a clear understanding of what exactly was missing.
the didn't understand at first what i was reffering to and said to me, "the fender was fine" and there was nothing wrong..
I screen gabed an image from tehir website, encircled the missing piece and was told "Our fender has been updated, which can be used normally, we will compensate you 5 GBP, do you think this is okay"
LOL, f'ing no!!! (not quite what i typed as i understand there are different agents each time on the conversation.. )
then was advised that the website had a previous fender, now the fender had been upgraded and updated. this is the correct version and can be used normally.
By the way, the fender is still for sale that i orignally bought, and there have been no updates to it..
I finally got someone who agreed to send me the product that was described in in the images and description.
but now am told with no certainty of when it will be shipped.. just "Next week", "if we ship it" (again LOL), "if", f'ing if...
What an absolute joke by the way..
anyway, if you are going to buy from this company, make sure the product is up to date.. It seems they don't keep the website upto date, and let customers buy products that are not even in stock, and you could be left with something you don't want nor need that's no good to man nor beast!
I estimate that it's cost Aovo more money in man power to read and answer my messages and thei review than the product is worth. So i'm happy i've cost them some time and money. to think it all could have been solved on day 1 of contact with a "yup, you're totally right, we messed up" we'll send you the correct one on X date, you'll get a tracking number to track. oh and here's a returns label if you'd like to ship the incorrect one back after you receive the correct one!"
