What a company, first class from start to finish.
Was informed every step of the way from the sales person, no pushy sales patter got exactly what I asked for, right to the end all staff were friendly and approachable and happy to answer any questions.
Was even phoned in the evening for updates regarding the build.
If anyone is wondering what company to use I would highly recommend Apex,not just a shed its construction is using thick quality materials.

Garden office built, no issues with the build, workmanship.and painting, all were of a very high standard along with the electrical installation, all the workers were fantastic, my only concerns were the survey and expectation set by sales team, advised 3 days but this took 7 working days to complete including the painting, I would advise that any expectations set by sales team are confirmed at point of sale, otherwise everything was fantastic, I would highly recommend Apex for any garden structure builds

Build got off to a great start and the two builders were friendly and worked like trojans. Once they were finished the issues started. Electrics delayed, rubbish not cleared, plumbing delayed. The work was over double the timeframe that we were informed it was to be so good job we were not in a hurry. The supervisor did come and check the standard of work which he had a few remedial issues sorted quickly for us.
The build itself is great but we did have a call with the office about the paint which we were informed would last for 5years but has come off on the surrounding decking but as flat, now told that this would happen so no 5year guarantee. The doors due to being wood also catch and are stiff which I do understand but was a little perplexed with these as I thought these were going to be aluminium framed/doors and not made from wood.
May sound like we are not happy with the build but overall we are, just a few little issues of maybe miscommunication or understanding.

Apex Garden Rooms have been fantastic from first visit to installation through to aftercare. Nothing is too much trouble and the quality of garden room is second to none.

From start to finish, our experience with Apex Garden Rooms was outstanding. “Those guys knew how to work” Pat and the team of builders worked tirelessly, early mornings and late evenings. It was clear they took real pride in their work, and the quality of the finished garden room has exceeded all our expectations.

The whole process was smooth and professional from the planning stage right through to completion. Matt, our sales representative, was fantastic always available to answer questions and guide us through everything. Sam, who was our initial point of contact, was amazing too. Her communication was excellent and made the whole process stress-free.

We were so impressed with everyone involved the joiners, electricians and painters They all worked incredibly hard, were tidy and respectful, and were genuinely lovely people to be around.

Despite some delays caused by the rework of the storage section and weather affecting painting, everything was completed within a respectable time and the final result is incredible. We are absolutely delighted with our new garden room and honestly could not be happier with the design, quality, and workmanship.

Updated Review 29th May 26 as previously gave a 1 star due to negative response and work carried out previously. However since the 25th to 27th May 2026 . Matt Apex management returned to yo my home to discuss and to offer a solution to my issues as this has been ongoing. He has agreed to sand the inside and re-vanish he has also agreed to repair the summer house and address the mould and dampness with no further cost to the customer. Thank you Matt
Micheal who was from South Africa arrived absolute professional it took all of 3 days to completly relevant work inside and outside of my summer house. Micheal was here from early hours until late to get this project finished to a standard i was more than happy with as a the customer. Total profofesional. He fitted all the drainage work re decking, joinery work and work to roof. Nothing was a problem . The Renovation Guy he was called 20+ years experience and very reliable. Highly recommended hopefully Apex with contiue to work with this professional. Festim from Albania was also an employee by Apex again I requested to Matt he be able to return to complete the job which was agreed as again he was very professional. He painted all the outside by hand as too vlose to neighbours to spray. He was polite very work contentious and again nothing was to much bother. He arrived early and left late remaining until the job was completed. Took pride in his work. Puting customer 1st. Completed sealing inside and out. Both these guys are amazing and for that I have changed my review from a 1 to a 4 not a 5 yet as not winter yet and hope i dont have the same issues i had when it was build in Jan 26. Could not recommend these guy highly enough thanks for putting a smile back on my face guys and allowing me to use the summer house.
Original review- I purchased a summer house in November 25 completed Jan 26. March 26 dampness and mould. Cost 2 figure sum so not cheap. Wanted to use as an additional bedroom space . However have had to through out drawers and waldrope purchased IKEA dec 25 and the air/ gas underbed storage as mould and dampness. Dampness on walls. Clothing shoes everywhere. Was informed by company mould was due to me having decking built around the summer house. Had this uplifted again April 26 and refitted leaving 1/2 inch gap all around as stated by company Still damp and mould. No decking at the side with mould dampness growing up the wall but they focused on the decking with little to no mould dampness. Company installed a gutter and pipe as may be rain getting in they stated. But still mould dampness. Had to stop using it at this time May 26 until repairs carried out. Requires to be painted on outside again as gaps appearing . Again been accessed by Apex and they have agreed to paint outside and inside and treat. After paying this kind of money I would want to be able yo use the garden room all year . I was informed by the company it could be used as a bedroom living space prior to build. Not happy ongoing May 26. Tried to upload pictures but unsuccessful. With regards to response yes tradesmen have been sent and yes you have responded to my calls emails and texts however tradesmen arrive without cottect tools for the jobs or have to leave as left tools on other jobs which I always sent messages to inform your company when they arrived and leave usually not long after they arrive. As for compensation I was not offer any as Matt was mot due out until the day after your response. He did however offer to paint the summer house in 5 years for another to make up for the lose of the new bed wardrope drawers carpet cloths shoes ect which could never cover the cost of what I have lost or the cost of the uplift to have them removed.

“Those guys knew how to work” Not my words but my neighbours when they saw the Apex Garden room team construct our garden room. They were correct of course as they worked on after dark with floodlights.
They whole experience with this company was excellent, from the planning stage, the survey, questions we had about one or two minor details were dealt with quickly and too our satisfaction, to the finished garden room.

Great service from talking through choices and budget to the build. The guys installing were clearly experienced and came up with a couple of good ideas I hadn’t thought of. Friendly and communicated with me throughout. Would recommend.

From our initial meeting when we chose the the garden room we liked it was only 6 after that when the work began. We were very impressed with all involved, joiners, electricians and painters. They worked very hard and were very tidy when clearing up. We had many great conversations with them, lovely people. We chose extra sockets and we also wanted one on floor in the middle of the garden room. Everything was no problem to them. The rainy weather curtailed some of the painting but everything was completed within a fortnight. We would recommend to anyone.

My wife runs a hairdressing business and with the ever increasing costs of chair rentals, we made the decision to create her own salon in the garden.

This has been the best decision ever made, Apex garden rooms sorted everything out for us including designing and building the garden room to my wives very specific specification, installing the electrics and plumbing, and finally painting in bold colours that matches her business branding.

We didn't think this would have ever been possible, as we didn't have a lot of savings, however we were intrigued and agreed for them to come out to provide us a quote. Steve from Apex Garden rooms managed to secure us finance, which works out much cheaper per month than renting a chair.

It is honestly been the best decision made both financially for our business and helping to create a more work life balance for my wife, who now only has a hop, skip and jump to her salon each day!

I've recently had a Gair build installed by Apex garden rooms.

I honestly could not be happier with the overall quality and design of the build. The build has exceeded my expectations.

The team on site were incredibly hard working, they worked through rain and snow! It was clear that the team took pride in their work.

The admin team were just as good and kept me updated throughout the build, they called each night to confirm who would be attending the following day (joiner, electrician, groundworker etc). I've never felt so informed by a trades company, and it was a pleasant surprise. It honestly made the full experience stress free.

I've already recommended Apex garden rooms to all my friends and family and would hands down say they are the most organised trades company I've ever came across.

My only wish is that they offered other building services because I would happily use them again for work inside my home.

The original discussion from the sales rep was helpful.
The costs were clear and transparent. The documenting of the decisions made on spec were recorded but then lost. Had i not been on site to micro manage it may have caused further delays. The management team were mixed in responses (we had to make contact with them throughout the installation to get updates on times of delivery of garden room materials) or when builders or painter were due to arrive. But we were able to get in contact despite the inconsistent contact from management liaison worker. We did this by getting the contact numbers of the builders, painters, and management to make sure we were clear about movements of the team. The installation was delayed due to company transportation breakdowns, and weather conditions. We accept that. The garden room 4x3 metre was installed with all building components present at the start. With what now seems (3 months observation) with snow storms, wind and rain, we see what seems as solid workmanship. No leaks or other window fascia problems. The builders worked it seem with pride, and care and patience for the area to work in (a tight cnr property). Great job. The electrics were installed in a timely manner, and work fine, the heater does its job. The painter was able to cover the build with two coats of the correct paint as ordered, and left with no drips or mess - Good job. The final signing off was ok apart from the delay to removing the building waste - a week or two - but, we got there at the end by further prompting of management liaison workers. Advice is don't wait for contact from staff, get involved enough to ensure you feel in control of the build. Overall lotta anxiety, but the build was completed, and to a high spec!

Love my garden room. Apex garden rooms did everything they could to create my garden room as I wanted it. It’s going to change my work life as-well as having a chill out space.
