Disappointing, unprofessional and poor value for money

My experience with this clinic has left me extremely disappointed. I have serious concerns about the professionalism of the practitioner, the way disabled patients are treated, and the clinic’s approach to pricing, payment and refunds.

The most concerning issue was the practitioner’s unprofessional behaviour in bringing up inappropriate subject matter while treating a disabled patient. Patients, particularly those with disabilities who may already be in a vulnerable position, deserve to be treated with dignity, sensitivity and respect. Treatment sessions should be focused on the patient’s needs, not made uncomfortable by inappropriate conversations. This fell well below the standard of professionalism I would expect from a healthcare practitioner.

The pricing is another major concern. A three-hour assessment cost £430, which is an extraordinary amount of money to pay before even deciding whether to proceed with treatment. Had I chosen to continue, the cost of further treatment would have run into thousands of pounds. In my view, these prices are excessive, particularly when comparable treatment is available elsewhere for less.

The payment arrangements are particularly unreasonable. The clinic insists on full payment months in advance of treatment, requiring patients to commit a substantial amount of money long before they receive the service. To make matters worse, the clinic will not offer refunds, which leaves patients facing a significant financial commitment with little flexibility if circumstances change or they decide not to proceed. This approach does little to inspire confidence or reassure prospective patients.

What makes this even harder to justify is that this treatment is not exclusive to this clinic. The technology is available elsewhere in the UK and internationally. Anyone researching their options should search for the NEUBIE machine and compare providers before committing to an expensive package.

Other clinics offer the opportunity to pay per session, allowing patients to pay as they go rather than handing over thousands of pounds upfront months in advance. This is a far more flexible and sensible arrangement, particularly for patients who need to consider their finances, health and changing circumstances. Why commit to an expensive package with inflexible payment terms when other providers may offer the same technology at a lower cost and allow you to pay for each session individually?

Overall, I would strongly encourage anyone considering this clinic to do their research, compare prices and investigate alternative providers before making a commitment. Look carefully at the payment and refund terms, ask questions and make sure you are comfortable with the practitioner’s approach and professionalism. Search for the NEUBIE machine and explore the alternatives before parting with your money.

In my view, the combination of unprofessional conduct, a £430 assessment, potentially thousands of pounds in further treatment costs, inflexible upfront payment requirements and a refusal to offer refunds makes this clinic very difficult to recommend.

Patients deserve better: respectful treatment, transparent and competitive pricing, reasonable payment options and clear, fair policies. I would strongly advise anyone considering this clinic to explore the alternatives first and think very carefully before committing such a substantial amount of money.

I recently completed a 5 day block of training and have come away with a good understanding of the underlying causes of my mobility issues (from MS) and what I am able to do to give myself the best chance of regaining the ability to walk unaided.

Considering that this was a tough five days that included discomfort, hard work and concentration, I had a great time! Luke was great and gave me confidence that I could achieve my goals, and the whole atmosphere was really friendly.

From where I am now I would definitely recommend Apex Neuro from treatment for MS related mobility issues as I have found it rare to be treated by people who have such a practical understanding of the impacts of the condition.

You need them..... you just don't know it

15 years I have had MS...... follow a while food based vegan lifestyle, HSCT and exercise daily.

But it was just not enough.... the disease was catching up. My MS was not getting stronger (HSCT saw to that), but my nerves were dormant.

The team at Apex Neuro sorted that out and whilst they cannot cure MS, they can stack the odds in my favour.

I now have the exercises and support I need to complete that bucket list!

Started my Apex Neuro journey back in August after being left with physical neurological deficits from my Brain AVM. I have tried multiple forms of rehabilitation which have all been a waste, came across Apex Neuro on Social Media and saw the excellent work they do and after a detailed consultation I was seen by one of the qualified practitioners (Laura) who understood me, my goals and objectives. I am now now in my 2nd month and I already am seeing the benefits and have a clear and direct pathway set out by one of the practitioners to achieving my long term goals. I would highly recommend contacting Apex Neuro to see if they can help with any neurological condition / issue you may have. They are quite flexible and offer a variety of treatment courses whether it be weekly sessions, intensive courses and even remote support programmes. Can’t speak highly enough of the team at Apex Neuro and continue my rehabilitation journey with the best support and environment for me which you get with Apex Neuro !

My neuro-rehab journey began in June 2025. Over the past 15 months, reaching true functional independence has been a dedicated partnership: two 8-week blocks of weekly 1.5-hour sessions and two 3-day intensives at Apex Neuro, combined with home conditioning to bank over 720 hours of focused neuro-stimulation between the clinic's Neubie protocols and my daily home routines.

Sarah, Rob, and the entire team possess an exceptional understanding of applied neurology. They don't just manage compensations; they methodically peel back layers of chronic nervous-system guarding. Together, we targeted the deep psoas "handbrake," rebuilt sensory mapping under my feet, and restored active hip extension.

The culmination of this long-term commitment arrived on Day 3 of my recent intensive: walking 10 full lengths of the studio completely unaided. Crucially, those neurological gains held firm once back home, translating immediately into confident, controlled gym sessions.

What an amazing place!

After having my first consultation with Rob , which was an eye opener! He was so knowledgeable and put me at ease straight away. He explained how MS affects the body etc in such terms my own specialist has never done and why. I have suffered with severe spasticity in both legs since suffering with AVN of my hip and Rob assured me there was something they could help with , I have never been told - I could’ve hugged him right there!
My sessions with Erin, who again is an absolute angel! Her knowledge, kindness and compassion is commendable as I struggle with such stiff and contracted legs, Erin is so patient and determined each session to get my legs working!! Using her vast knowledge, understanding and caring nature I know I’m in good hands! Thank you Rob & Erin for believing in the power of healing and positivity, as well as some interesting, funny and deep chats - I will get there 💪! They truly are angels!!!!

Having spent 5 days working with Rob he quite literally blew my mind mentally and physically. The abundance of knowledge that man has is truly awe-inspiring. Rob looks at the Biomechanics of the body in such a coherent, clever and functional way that it quite literally has to make sense, it can't not. I learned such much in those five days about MS. the body, neuroplasticity and what's possible that it continues to impact me daily, a month on. The way the team utilise that Neufit Neubie machine to gain movement and control in body parts that I thought were lost is nothing less than magical. I now have a plan to work to. Information in my head to revert to and ongoing support from Rob. As we all know life isn't linear and regaining movement from what MS takes away isn't straight forward, however with Apex Neuro's assistance I'm convinced I will run again. Thanks Rob for everything. That light at the end of the tunnel gets bigger and brighter every day.

I was really looking forward to starting treatment after my introductory session, but unfortunately the payment process left me very disappointed. I was asked to pay for all the sessions upfront, several months before the treatment, and there was no option to pay in instalments.

I understand that private treatment has costs, but expecting such a large payment in advance felt unreasonable, especially given my circumstances. I was hoping there might be some flexibility, but unfortunately there wasn’t. Overall, I found the whole situation frustrating and disappointing.

I’ve just come back from a three-day intensive at Apex Neuro, following an introductory session three months ago, and I would like to thank Luke and the whole team at Apex Neuro from the bottom of my heart.

After years of misdiagnoses and searching for answers, I was finally diagnosed with HSP in September 2025. Since then, although the medical professionals I’ve seen have been well-meaning, the focus has largely been on managing my symptoms with medication and preparing me for what I was told was an inevitable decline in my condition. I was encouraged to use a cane and, in many ways, to accept that things would continue to get worse.

This left me feeling fearful and resigned, particularly after a fall that left me injured. I had lost confidence in my ability to walk safely and, more importantly, hope that things could actually improve for me.

After spending three days with Luke and the team last week, I feel like I have that hope back.

The work we did with the e-stim machine, together with Luke’s incredibly helpful advice on walking technique and how to approach my training at the gym, has given me hope that things can still change for the better.

For the first time in a long while, I can genuinely imagine the possibility of walking unaided and without fear. I know it won’t happen overnight, and I’m fully aware that it will take time, consistency and effort. But I feel motivated and ready to give it everything I can.

I’ve already purchased an e-stim machine for home use and have started putting Luke’s recommendations into practice at the gym. I know there is still work to do, but I’m incredibly grateful to Luke and the entire Apex Neuro team for helping me see that the road ahead doesn’t have to be one of inevitable decline.

The experience I have had with Apex Neuro has been second to none. They are as friendly as they are professional, the techniques they use are truly beneficial, where other treatments haven’t been able to help me at all. Laura’s knowledge of the body and how each tiny change we make in our sessions will effect me and my rehabilitation, is only matched by how much it feels she truly cares. For anyone considering using Apex, I genuinely couldn’t recommend them enough.

After two separate 3 day sessions with Luke at Apex, my MS journey has been transformed from ‘I can’t’ to ‘I can try’ - the ‘I can try’ has now in lots of ways become ‘I can and now do’.

This is a very special place. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Apex. I saw Luke and Rob, who have so much patience and knowledge. They're lots of fun too, and don't let you get away with anything!! I've visited twice in the last 6 months and I can feel and see the progress in walking. Never thought I'd be walking unaided along a canal path!

I have to say that Laura was absolutely awesome to work with and Sarah and Rob should be incredibly proud of the amazing team that they have created. I know they were on leave last week but Laura, Luke & Erin were superstars with all the clients that came through the doors in their absence showing absolute sensitivity, professionalism and most importantly care.

I really benefitted from Laura's thorough knowledge of my condition (MS) and how it impacted my movement. Under her careful guidance I was able to show real progress in the sessions, just amazing.

Obviously I still have lots of work to do myself but with the support of Apex Neuro I really feel that I understand the specific areas that I need to work on moving forwards.

Honestly I cannot recommend Apex Neuro enough, from my first call with Sarah, my intro with Laura and finally my intensive sessions with Erin they were all professional throughout but still manage to find time for some laughter and some interesting conversations. All in all I am really happy with the results I am walking better, doing my exercises regularly and I have only worn additional support a couple of times in the last 5 weeks, this is massive improvement to where I was a couple of months ago.

I requested an assessment for my case, being interested in their remote program for foreign patients. They made me send some videos for evaluation. And then they didn't get back to me, I had to push for a response. They dismissed me, they told me my case was too complex and that I would have to travel back and forth between Italy and Manchester for multiple sessions. Basically, they refused to help me, even though they treat patients with the same problems as mine every day from all over the world with their remote program, they were unprofessional, completely lacking in empathy, cold. They treated me like a number

I was diagnosed with MS 23 years ago and I have seen a slow and steady decline in my mobility. Particularly since the pandemic, when I went from using a stick when walking, to having to use two crutches. More recently, because my walking has become so laboured and slow, we have ended up using a wheelchair to get me places, which is a slippery slope!

I recently attended my first intensive week at Apex Neuro with Erin. Erin is wise beyond her years and definitely knows her stuff, as well as being kind and considerate. She spent time each day using E-stim to cut through the spasticity in my legs and then asking me to feel and activate the muscles to move my legs.

At the end of the week, she encouraged me to stand on my own. This is something that most people do without thinking. The first time I tried, I managed just over a minute - which felt like a lifetime and was terrifying! I tried again and was blown away and very emotional to find out that I had managed over 5 minutes! On a final attempt, I managed 6 minutes. This was all due to activating muscles that I had basically forgotten how to engage.

I know I will need several more sessions at Apex, but this has left me feeling that maybe the impossible is possible. It will be hard work, but it has given me hope for the first time since I was diagnosed that I may be able to walk again, without the need for my crutches or wheelchair.

Apex Neuro is a place of positivity and hope. It feels like the whole team have your best interests at heart. It really struck me that the whole time I was there, all I could hear was laughter and joking coming from the other treatment rooms, which is amazing when you think that everyone attending their sessions is suffering from a quite serious condition. Somehow the Apex team have a way of making you feel comfortable and relaxed…..and seen.

I am looking forward to my next sessions and the possibilities that may bring.

I was wheeled into Apex Neuro and by the end of the week I was standing for 7 minutes and walked with assistance and some with none for the 1st time in 3 years. They truly are miracle workers. The team are 100% committed to their clients and expect the same thing back. No matter what hesitation you may have will disappear in minutes. They confidence the expelled in you is infectious and they say it as it is. I've ditched the rollator at home using the back of my wheelchair for support when needed. I climb the stairs alot easier. I've even got the lights turn back on in my eyes and fire in my belly again. After been told im on the best meds and this was it. I finally have hope. Thanks so much to luke and all the Apex team. I chose this clinic on the strength of its high ratings, and I'd encourage anyone to read this carefully before paying upfront.

The fundamental problem is that what they really offer is the machine, not the expertise they present alongside it — and that same machine can be found at other UK clinics, frequently with a more adaptable approach.

There was no flexibility during the treatment based on my body's response, which is the mark of a true expertise.

When it doesn't deliver for you, the only thing on offer is more of the same.

Be careful, too, to distinguish how you feel during a session, when the machine is actively assisting you, from how you feel once you're home again.

For me, that was the crux of it: nothing held.

The bigger problem is this:

Ahead of booking, the manager assured me results would come quickly and easily — but she had no involvement in my actual treatment, even though I'd taken her to be the practitioner.

Between that reassurance and the strong ratings, I felt pushed into paying in advance.

Cancelling earns you no refund, yet when you arrive you're asked to sign a form making you liable for any harm done to you — so raising an objection means you've already forfeited what you paid.
It's a unfair situation and you should sign before you pay (or provide refunds if you don't).

I saw no improvement, and at no point did anyone follow up to find out whether the treatment had done anything.

If the technology happens to fit your case, it might do some good.
If it doesn't, it won't, and I found little expertise beyond the device itself.

My honest advice: don't lock yourself in, treat the promises with caution, and try a brief course (2 session) before committing to anything larger. Check if it works at home before returning again.

I've settled on two stars because their intentions seem genuine, and someone the machine actually suits may have a far better time of it than I did.

When we're ill, we desperately want to believe something will help — which is exactly why it pays to go in clear-eyed.
