A Plus Moving and Storage Reviews 

This company is a complete scam! First, the sales person lied about the items on the estimate, and only after I produced the recording of the call did they honor the estimate they provided. This company also lied across three calls, saying that they were indeed not a broker (shocker they are a broker). The Office staff Michelle was extremely rude when dealing with her day of the move after they tried to call us into paying an after they tried to call us into paying an extra $1500. They broke two tvs, an espresso machine and several paintings. Learn a lesson from us and stay as far away as possible from this company.

This is the worst moving company!! They lost a 1/4 of my stuff from my move from Illinois to Texas. I had them pick up and store the bulk of my items till my house sold then they picked up the remaining items. They got to Texas sooner than planned and i was still in Illinois so no one was here to check in delivery. No paperwork was left for me ?? Driver said it was all turned into the company. I have asked sent e mails requesting copies of what was shipped and delivered to match up w what was taken from Illinois. NOTHING from them!!! I keep being told oh ok I’ll get it and send to you! Still nothing this has been going on since November !!!!
This was over 5,000. Plus storage fee’s and this is how they care about their customers Yes i filed a claim but its less than pennies on the dollar ! The hoops you have to jump through! HOW DO YOU LOSE SO MUCH STUFF!
Family heirlooms that can;t be replaced !!! It’s heartbreaking and they don’t care !!!!

My experience with A Plus Moving and Storage was very disappointing. The company initially gave me an estimate of approximately $5,000 based on the inventory list I provided. I accepted that estimate and paid the required deposit. Only after my deposit had been processed was I asked to complete a detailed video walkthrough of all of my belongings. After reviewing the video, the company increased the total cost of my move to approximately $8,500.

I understand that pricing can change if the inventory changes. However, I believe customers should receive the detailed inventory review before being asked to pay a deposit. In my case, I only learned the actual cost after I had already made a financial commitment.

What concerned me the most is that by the time the company informed me of the higher price, the 72-hour period to request a refund of my deposit had already expired. This meant I had no opportunity to cancel after learning the actual price without losing my deposit.
Because I could not afford the increased cost, I canceled the move. A Plus Moving and Storage refused to refund my deposit.

I hope the company changes this process so future customers know the actual price before paying a deposit.

Do not use this company. Our binding contract was changed at point of pick up and the new contract was never sent to the contractee (us). Rather, they took the paperwork that our daughter signed and could not reproduce it when we were told it would now be $800 more. They wouldn't bring our items into the new location until we paid extra even though we STILL didn't have the breakdown. Felt like blackmail. Unbelievably bad service from start to finish with all promises and no "I am sorry." They dropped the ball with the paperwork and we have to pay the price.

First I want to say I was getting quotes from several companies then Ryan James contacted me. Everything was fine until I didn’t respond to him due to being admitted in the hospital then he get extremely rude with me. Even told me that I couldn’t afford his company and all kinds of stuff. I asked him numerous times to stop texting me and he just kept on. Im laying in a hospital bed and this man is harassing me and being extremely rude! (And if the company would like proof I have the text messages to prove it I’d be happy to share them!) this is not good business! Needless to say I am going with another company because it’s so uncalled for to be harassed and told I’m to broke to afford them (fyi I’m not but if I was that is incredibly insulting and uncalled for!)

In the beginning it was a rocky start. I don’t feel like I was fully heard when given my inventory. I later had to add more items because they didn’t accurately put down what I said. Ended up getting charged more later to adjust it. However, the moving team was excellent. Chris Love and his partner were great to work with and helped me through every step of the way. They did an excellent job and helped me make a stressful move more seamless. I would highly recommend Chris’s team to move with us again.

My move went well overall, and I would use A Plus Moving and Storage again. The two movers who came were excellent. Christopher Love and the other gentleman were professional, patient, organized, and very helpful throughout the process. They helped pack, wrap, and organize everything carefully, and they worked with me even though I was particular about making sure certain items were bubble wrapped properly. The movers themselves were phenomenal.
The reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the back end process, especially the inventory list and communication with the office. Each time we reviewed the inventory, it seemed like items that had previously been discussed were missing or had to be added back, and the price changed each time. That part felt cumbersome and not as transparent as it could have been. It also created some stress because I had to keep rechecking the list, calling back, and making sure essential items were still included.
In the end, dispatch and the drivers helped facilitate everything, and the move was completed successfully. I do think this is a good and trustworthy company, but there is room for improvement in customer service, inventory accuracy, and pricing clarity. The actual movers were outstanding, and they are the main reason I would consider using the company again

We were moving from Collierville, TN to Parker, CO as part of a corporate relocation and had very high expectations — and a company reimbursement that depended on everything going smoothly and being well-documented. Philip at A Plus Moving and Storage understood this immediately. He provided a full written inventory before loading, photographed each item individually, and provided a signed delivery confirmation at the destination. Every piece of documentation my employer required was provided without us even having to ask. His team was impeccably professional — uniformed, courteous, and efficient. Our four-bedroom home was fully loaded in four hours and delivered on schedule. The final invoice was $12,300, which came in under our corporate allowance. My HR department has already added A Plus Moving and Storage to their approved vendor list.

HORRIBLE Experience! Are they paying people for the good reviews?? I have moved several times and have NEVER experienced anything SO bad! The movers/packers had no idea what they were doing and didn't even have the proper equipment and packing materials, resulting in 1,000s of dollars in damage to my furniture, fine art work, dishes, pottery, TVs, etc. They didn't even have bubble wrap?!? Then try to go through the insurance claim process--oh, what a joy that is! They are all in cohoots to make it SO difficult that you will just give up. They offered my $131.00. Are you kidding me?!?!?!? On top of that, they couldn't even tell me which day they were coming until the day before...makes it really hard to plan a cross-country move! And then found reasons to upcharge me! STAY AWAY if you don't want the emotional stress of your valuable items being destroyed!
