The technicians are always wonderful…

The technicians are always wonderful but Ann went above and beyond this last time! At one point I looked out back to see her dancing among the bees, waiving her wand at them! She found where the wasps were coming from - my birdhouses! The next day I made sure all my bird houses are now free of those nasty nests! It made me chuckle when I saw her and it couldn't have come at a better time. Thank you Ms. Ann!

Overall the technicians who come to…

Overall the technicians who come to treat my property are knowledgeable and attentive. They want to treat more frequently than I think is necessary. I appreciate that they don’t constantly try and ‘upsell’ which I find incredibly annoying.

We have reported past activity of pests…

We have reported past activity of pests in our yard, now they are back with a vengeance! We were gone for a while, and had a visit in our absence. We also had an additional visit to treat for voles/moles/gophers. Unfortunately, upon our return we discovered a massive increase in mounds left by them! And they are getting closer to our house! That is what they promised to avoid!

I have a conversation at the start of…

I have a conversation at the start of their work emphasizing my concerns. And the technician specifically follows and reports any of my concerns.

The technician mentioned in his text when done that I had a small bird caught behind the netting in my ground solar array. I wouldn't have gone into my backyard for a couple of days. I immediately created an opening for the bird to escape and the bird was gone by the next morning.

Great Pest Service

We have been using Aptive for a few years. They listen to what we need done, they take photos of the property as they go. The communication has always been great. I rarely see spiders anymore and the mosquito traps work well. They also clear out the wasp nests.

It is impossible to reach Aptive

It is impossible to reach Aptive. You get put on hold for literally over an hour and never speak to anyone. I’ve tried sending emails that I get no response to. It’s easy for them to say they’ll come back in between treatments if necessary, if you can’t reach them. Also,
pests you specifically be addressed the treatment has been ineffective against. Overpriced, ineffective and totally unresponsive

Works well for wasps

They always are very helpful and when necessary come back and re-spray any areas where wasps are continuing to build their nests. My main concern is wasps.

I used to be very happy with Aptive

I used to be very happy with Aptive, but I am getting more disappointed as time goes on. The techs aren't as good as they used to be. They came out for a repeat treatment. Only one of my issues were addressed. I had told them about ants and ant hills, not necessarily right next to the garage but it extends out onto the concrete on the side of my garage, which the hills have gotten larger and obviously were not treated. Also the wasp situation, I was told they hit the hot spots. Previous techs have hit the hot spots as well as where I've let them know there is a lot if activity. Other companies will use a peppermint oil on their web tool which seems to help combat wasp activity. I have had a lot of other companies coming by to try to drum up new business. I don't necessarily want to but I might have to consider a change

Aptive has been amazing We have had a recurring wasp problem. Aptive has responded promptly to three calls in addition to our initial service.
Each team they have sent has been professional and courteous. They listen Address the problem and treat the new areas of infestation effectively.
Great customer service.

Good ...but!

The service overall has been good but its never consistence unless I am here at the house to talk with the technician. Last time back of house and bait boxes were not done. Now the gate was locked this last but most times this is the case because I work and some of the technicians hop the fence. My garage is not being done all the time but its a garage so OK. I think the weather conditions should be taken into account when the technicians get here. I saw on my cameras one time it was pouring down rain and they went out and sprayed good for the technicians but does this really work for pest control? I really do not know where my Aptive technicians come from...Denver or Colorado Springs So I picked the Denver one below.

I hate that I get notified the day of…

I hate that I get notified the day of the appointment that Aptive is coming out. I need advance notice so that areas of concern can be addressed, gates to access the backyard can be unlocked, and the interior can be done. The past two visits I have responded to the driver's texts with I need them to return for interior treatment and I have got zero response. When I try to call Aptive they are always experiencing high call volume and it says someone will call me back, but I never get the call.
