As an abstract painter, I am so happy I met Pam. Pam is a wonderful, skilled and loving teacher with a complete method. The teachings are very clear and the share assignments give me a lot of insight and are fun to do!! The community is wonderful, supportive and alive. For myself I regard it as a miracle that I found Pam. I recommend PRO to anybody, who is painting; abstract or otherwise. Doing PRO brought me back to enjoying painting and my creative process, for which I am very grateful!

The best part of the MC 1-12 is that it was organized and created by you Pam with all your knowledge and experience of what you'd wished someone had taught you as a comprehensive/intensive but that you had to learn/study/figure out on your own over 20 years. Even now when I am moved to be working 90% in advancing my encaustic education (and love that you seem to be enfolding more of it currently into your demos and discussions) I still remind myself of things I picked up from you. Reminders that one of the 6 visual elements and what they represent has to be most dominant in order to avoid an uncomfortable tension. For example when it come to the element of 'shape', Papa Bear has to dominate over Mama and one or more Baby Bears. Same goes for color, warm or cool must dominate etc. Your emphasis on the importance of value was also educational for me. I don't think I thought about that very much before the course. And of course, there's your very specific, earnest and easy to understand teaching style. I'd recommend this to any artist who wants to take their art further in the shortest amount of time.

Pam is a great teacher and I loved watching her paint and explain what she was doing.

An amazing venue that is filled with very valuable information under the Pam’s dedicated leadership. This program is multilevel in all aspects and works daily to better those that are involved. Such a valuable learning, hands on venue that has so many facets. ❤️

I am struggling to find the time to access all the material. I have loved many of the basic elements about colour mixing and making a shade chart... much harder than I expected to sort my cray-pas.I found the tool making very rewarding. Lisa does a brilliant job getting our questions to you during the Zoom meetings. ... so glad she had some time to learn encaustic and have some fun with you. I most enjoyed the paint along where you did 1 image with several interpretations and with different media. I am sure I will learn a lot from that.I like the fact that people are at different places in their journals and you are always so kind and encouraging.I am so glad I signed up for this as although I have not completed nearly as much as I had hoped I would, (well I did have major spinal surgery in the middle), I have spent much more time in my art room. Thanks to all the people who make this course great including the wonderful Toph!

Pam is one of the most generous teachers I’ve ever had. She is thoughtful, patient and passionate. I have learned so much over the last several months and she just keeps making the experience better. Amazing woman and exceptional teacher.

Each part of Art and Success Masters builds on the previous which makes it so easy to follow. Because there is no time limit it is nice to be able to spend as much time in each section as I need. I can go back to a previous masterclass anytime that I might now realize something new that I only had a glimpse of before and can get a deeper understanding of now.

I have gained confidence in my ability to critique my own paintings and finish them. I have learned how to use my visual language of Art to be able to speak and write about my work.

Pam Caughey's Art and Success master's Course has been an invaluable resource for me. I didn't attend art school and had very little exposure to the arts growing up, so when I wanted to start painting in my 40's it was quite a challenge. After watching many YouTube painting demos and some online workshops I still felt a lack or insecurity around my understanding of the art world. ASM has bridged that gap for me. Pam is such an amazing and generous teacher with an enormous depth of knowledge but never makes you feel like your questions are stupid. Sometimes I need to hear information in many different ways before I actually 'get it' and throughout the ASM Course the principals and language of art are continually reinforced. I also love having access to a group of artists working toward the same goal (becoming better artists) and the freedom to work at my own pace. I couldn't be more happy to have found Pam Caughey, ASM and the whole Art and Success community!

About three years ago, I found Pam via YouTube searching for information on working in Cold Wax Medium and Oils. I was immediately drawn to her warm demeanor, gentle teaching style and willingness to share her skills. I started off watching a number of her free videos and was impressed with her depth of knowledge. From there I decide to sign up for her Art and Success Masterclass series. I haven’t looked back since. I have completed the classes and joined her online monthly membership PRO group. All of it has been so helpful. The classes and community remind me of being back in college taking art classes. I have learned SO much and continue to learn from Pam and PRO all the time. It is great to have the Masterclasses as a resource to refer back to again and again and PRO is such an incubator for ideas, inspiration and community. Highly recommend!!

I think, first and foremost, Pam is a real person who is not only extremely talented, but loves to share and teach what she has learned thru her many years of ups and downs. Her teaching style speaks so clearly to her students. She has created a community where we all learn and contribute to one another, no matter what level we are as artists. She doesn't teach a technique or specific media, but rather, teaches design principles and how to apply those principles by asking ourselves critical questions that guide us to our own correct result expressing our individual voices. I've said it many times, she has changed my life!

I haven't followed all the modules religuously but it a great resource and suits my style of learning by dipping in and out, chunks at a time. Also Pamela's demonstrating style is very inspiring and you feel like it is a very good grounding.

I see the principles taught in this course daily in my work and other artwork I see. When I get stuck in a painting, I can do a quick review and know what I need to do to get unstuck. ASM has helped me develop my artistic style and voice which enables me to create paintings quickly and approach galleries with confidence.

Due to the isolation during the COVID pandemic I had the budget and time to take an insane number of art courses on line. I learned a lot. Now, most of us do not have that luxury of time or money to see it all. Pam’s ASM art success masters program is my top recommendation of them all. This course is incredibly comprehensive and efficient. There is plenty of time to go over the material because there is lifetime access. She does not have you paying every year to review the material like some others. Pam is an excellent teacher and has created a course you will come back to for reference. The price is insanely affordable for her valuable insight. If there is only one course you can afford thi is the one..,chock full of information presented in an orderly manor to get you painting. This course is a tremendous value. I have remained in pam’s ongoing program for several years now and still go back to review ASM because you really can’t take it all in at once. Going back you will understand more each time. That is why lifetime access is key. Pam has more programs to follow ASM that goes even deeper. She has something to offer for artists of all levels. Take her course!
