We recently used Artful and Arches to renew our kitchen. It was a big job as we were completely changing the layout, and needed all new plumbing, electrics, ceiling, plastering - everything was changing.

Nazim and his team did a fantastic job. But as well as doing amazing work, Naz went above and beyond for us on several occasions, doing extra remedial works just because they needed doing. He was always available on the phone or by text, as was Clara.

We installed the kitchen ourselves, and so of course, came upon some difficulties, which Naz very kindly helped us with, offering advice, support and even his labour along the way.

Clara also came to the rescue, ensuring that we had everything we needed to make the work go smoothly.

If I had to pick something to criticise, I would say that our garden is in a bit of a state, with some rubble and building waste remaining, but this is a small thing and it certainly wouldn’t stop me from using Naz and his team again.

In short, I’d highly recommend Artful and Arches.

Artful and Arches were recommended to us by Schmidt Kitchens, Barnet, to carry out the building, plumbing and electrical work associated with our new kitchen which was completed in August 2021 (Schmidt only supplied the furniture and appliances and completed the “dry fit”).
From the start we were impressed with Nazim and his approach to the job. He was very polite, considerate and careful; he was proud of his work and somewhat of a perfectionist – which suited us fine. He was very flexible, meeting our requirements which sometimes changed or developed as the job progressed, fitting in around the kitchen installers and the gas boiler installer. The fact that Nazim is multi-skilled and able to do all the jobs himself without bringing in other tradesmen certainly helped to make everything run more smoothly. He even made a special trip to be with us when the kitchen installers needed to know where the electrical switches for the appliances were required – leaving Clara in hospital about to give birth to their first child. (Fortunately, he was back in time for the birth!)
Clara remained available throughout for queries and responded to our emails. As a director of this company and a designer with Schmidt Kitchens, she provided a valuable link between the two companies and helped to ensure that the total kitchen replacement went as smoothly as possible.
We have no hesitation in recommending Artful and Arches and would certainly approach Nazim and Clara again if we needed more work around the house. Having a kitchen rebuild can be stressful, but Nazim and Clara were such a delightful, personable couple, it was a pleasure to have them around. With their dedication and hard work, we wish them well.

Can't rate Artful and Arches highly enough. Clara was thoughtful and curious about the work and faithfully translated this into the build. Nazim is everything you want in a builder; skilled, prompt, tidy, considerate and always on time. He and Clara made a disruptive kitchen fitting as easy and smooth as possible. Very, very good.

This is the first time I worked with Clara and Nazim and I am glad I did. Their service, care and sincerity was impeccable and they deserve all of the 5 stars. I will not only use them again but recommend them to one and all.

Naz and Clara are absolutely brilliant. We found them to be totally reliable, incredibly friendly and trustworthy. They did a fantastic job on both our kitchen and bathroom, delivering it all on time and to the highest quality. We feel very lucky to have found them and would recommend them wholeheartedly.

I recently had a new Schmidt kitchen installed.
I used Artful and Arches Ltd to remove my old kitchen and do all the remedial work necessary prior to the new kitchen installation.
Clara the project manager over sees the project from beginning to end and Nazim does all the heavy work.
He gutted my old kitchen, re-plastered and painted the walls, replaced floor boards, tiled the floor and did all the plumbing and electrical work needed for my appliances and lighting
Although we faced a couple of hitches, they were quickly resolved.
Clara checks in on the work in progress, returns all your calls if you have any queries, determined to resolve them all, and Nazim works extremely hard with dedication, skill and takes pride in all his work which nowadays is becoming a rarity.
They both aim to please and give 100%
Out with the old dated kitchen, in with the new wonderfully finished modern one
I would highly recommend this company and would not hesitate in using them again if so needed.

Nazim is a perfectionist!
Although he makes sure everything is perfect, he is not slow. He works non stop and makes sure to leave the area clean and tidy when he leaves for the day. His workmanship is second to none and he takes pride in his work. I have no hesitation in recommending him and his team. It was an absolute pleasure to have him around and I was actually upset when the job was finished! asked him to quote for other jobs, and have no hesitation in recommending him to family and friends. Artful and Arches are very reasonable but that definitely doesn’t mean that they use cheap materials or do shoddy work! I will definitely be using them again and have asked for quotes for other building work in our house.

Everybody was approachable from the manger to the workers. Attention to detail was outstanding and they made useful suggestions.
They are hardworking, kept to timing, kept us up to date at each stage of the project.
Their customer service was outstanding and their work was excellent.

We are extremely happy with the care of Artful and Arches team members. Highly professional and a pleasantly friendly approach to work. They are ready to handle any issues during their project in a creative way without asking for an arm and a leg. We recommend them to many people already. I have worked with Nasim and Clara on a few project now. I only wish they had more availability as all projects have gone soo smoothly.

Clara personally project manages the work which give me the peace of mind that my clients are well looked after and know what is happening day to day. The fact that she is also an experienced interior designer is an added bonus and she can give my clients her expertise when it comes to picking colours etc

Nasim’s work is impeccable and goes above and beyond for the client. He is clean and today and he’s finish second to none.

We already have several other project scheduled for the rest of the year and I will always sing the praise to all my new client.

We have now used Artful & Archers on a number of occasions on a verity of projects. I've always found both Clara & Nazim to be approachable, fair and very professional.

We used Naz and Clara to do the build for our kitchen. The project also included some other building work. The work was completed without issue despite numerous problems on the way. Nazim also managed a couple of extra jobs for us.

I really can’t say how pleased we are with the work. The house is transformed!

Ww’ve just had our kitchen rebuild.
We purchased it from Schmidt Barnet and Clara designed a lovely new kitchen.
Her design was unique and hence swayed us to buy the kitchen from Schmidt.
She oversaw the project and made regular visits throughout the build process.
She was very approachable and quick to return on any questions queries and suggestions.
I even took her advice on the kitchen accessories.
She provided service with a smile.

Nazim did the build work, including the removal of the old kitchen, making good of the walls and the floors. He then finished the modelling of the new kitchen along with all the light work, floor tiles, underfloor heating and the plumbing.
He also did the second fit after Schmidt builders fitted the new kitchen.

Overall I am extremely pleased with the whole experience which went smoothly and was hasslefree.

We’ve just had our kitchen done and couldn’t be happier. Clara was absolutely brilliant and designed for us a beautiful kitchen in what was a limiting space. We cannot recognise our kitchen and have had so many compliments about it. Nazim worked hard from start to finish. He was reliable, hard working and diligent and was always helpful, making sure we were 100% happy with every last detail. Together Clara and Nazim provided an excellent service and we would highly recommended them.

We recently bought a new kitchen from Schmidt Kitchens and used Artful and Arches for the fit out. Clara project managed from start to finish and was a complete professional, very patient in explaining timetabling and sequencing, and basically managing the whole process. Nazim did all the build work, which involved stripping out the prior kitchen, redoing the electrics, laying the tiles, upgrading the plumbing and gasworks, decorating and painting, and building a new larder. And once the kitchen was fitted, doing all the connections and making sure everything was 100% perfect. Nazim’s work quality was brilliant, he was very diligent and stayed late or worked over the weekend to get everything done, explaining as he went along and making really helpful suggestions.
Would 100% recommend Artful and Arches, we are delighted with what they have done for us.
