I recently purchased Arthouse’s "Chalky Tropical Soft Navy" vinyl wallpaper, and the experience has been extremely disappointing. Despite using rolls from the same batch and following all professional hanging procedures, the pattern alignment was completely off — the seams don’t match at all. For a bold design like this, the mismatch is glaring and ruins the entire look of the wall.

This points to a serious lack of quality control in their manufacturing process. As a decorator, I rely on consistent printing and batch integrity — something Arthouse clearly can't deliver. Not only did it waste my time, but it also made me look unprofessional in front of my client.

For the price, I expected much better. I will not be using Arthouse products again and would strongly advise others to steer clear if you care about quality and a professional finish only reason for the 1 star wasnt possible to write a review otherwise - 1x star .

RUBBISH PAPER!!!!Bought the Arthouse tranquil green as I loved the pattern but never again as quality is terrible, tears easily and can't use a Stanley knife to get a clean edge as it tears the paper so had to use scissors, and last but not least, lost so much as the first strip was just short of the pattern

obviously the way it was cut in the factory so I reckon I will now not have enough paper to finish and am really furious that I will have to pay for more of the crap or rip off what I have put up and take the rest back which I am tempted to do.NEVER will I buy this brand again.

I am NOT a professional- but I can hang wallpaper and have used this brand before. Something has changed or like the other reviews say it’s pot luck . I brought several rolls and decided to crack on. The paper rips so easily it had a tear before it touched the wall. It doesn’t manoeuvre well it rips so easily no it shreds no matter how sharp your blade ! I love the print so decided to continue on but never have I felt so frustrated at papering a wall. I would go as far as saying it’s barely fit for purpose! Don’t soak it for long and use scissors rather than a blade ! Otherwise AVOID! Save your sanity and your money!

Wallpaper was damaged on delivery due to extremely poor packaging which fell apart when delivered.
Customer service department refused to send new packaging to return. Said I had to spend time effort and money repackaging and sending back. Whilst they point blank refused to do anything that cost them Money. Diabolical, pathetic customer service from an unscrupulous company. DO NOT USE!!!!

Terrible, ordered 4 rolls of paper was sent in 2 parcels and one was delivered the other wasn’t then waitied to be told it was damaged, tried to contact them but close early on Friday and iv had to pay decorator twice now, not happy and wouldn’t use again, items that did come arrived damaged

The wallpaper we bought had a defect in it. Looked like a score line, along the length of the rolls, caused in manufacture. Only after hanging 2 rolls did it show itself properly. We thought it might dry out but it didn't. So had to steam some of it off and put on a different roll of paper.
Customer service were poor, delays in coming back and just kept asking questions and requesting more information, and sorting nothing out. Avoid buying from this company. Poor quality product. Poor customer service.

Wish I’d read the reviews before I bought this, palm grove grey.. it’s the worst paper ever, had a job to make it stick to the wall, even though I bought proper glue to paste the wall, the joins look horrible as though I’ve overlapped the paper, which I haven’t and also some of the joins are coming unstuck, the ones that are stuck looks like a line down the paper..bought some stuff today especially for wallpaper joins which didn’t work. I’m taking it all off and taking it back to the shops in the hope I might get a refund, as it’s not fit for purpose, and have done a video for them so they can see for themselves, shame I can’t put it on here. It’s not cheap either at £24 a roll. Would never buy this make again.UPDATE… took it of the walls, rolled it up and took it back.. after a bit of a discussion I did get a full refund!

So I am a professional decorator tasked with hanging heavy vinyl Sahara on the hall stairs and landing.
One word..Awful. I have never seen such poor quality of wallpaper, the seams are visible with white edges running down the seams, the pattern had printing issues and so the pattern was out in many places. The paper doesn't adhere well to the wall, which results in continuous re pasting, I used border lap adhesive which also struggled to do the job.

I placed an order for wallpaper online and within minutes realized the paper was not textured, so I immediately sent an email canceling the order. I never got a reply.
2 days later I got an email stating they were shipping the order.
I had to file a dispute through Paypal to get any help with it.

UPDATE: They never replied to Paypal either, so Paypal eventually reversed the charges.

I can't put zero stars, so it has to be one. Paid a professional decorator to hang arthouse wallpaper in my hall along the wall going up the stairs. The pattern doesn't match up!!!! He's a professional, so he couldn't leave it like that and had to remove it...I obviously had to pay him for his time and ended up with no paper on the walls. To say I'm raging is an understatement. This product is defective. DO NOT BUY!!!!

Absolutely awful quality, Jasmine Garden Navy - all seems visible despite being put professionally. It looks that there are two levels in the wallpaper - vinyl and paper that each do own thing - when you try to match pattern and do the seams - vinyl underneath does one thing, paper on top does another thing. Very dissappointed with a quality. Worst wallpaper ever worked with.

Bought Arthouse wallpaper Sahara Multi heavy wallpaper. The pattern goes across the wall. Every seam is visible even though it is matched perfectly. At £22.99 a roll expected better quality. £36 for ready mixed paste and paid decorator to hang it. He told me it was the worst paper ever. Has to be removed, it’s an eyesore

Defective wallpaper my professional decorator called me to say each time he pasted the wallpaper the pattern came off I contacted The Range where I purchased from and the supplier Arthouse Arthouse have interegated me blamed everything but there wallpaper and done nothing to help resolve the situation. I was not surprised when I saw multiple negative reviews of simular problems.

I bought the Calico plain grey paper and a professional decorator put it on my lounge wall.You can clearly see the seams on each roll and it looks awful.The paper was put up according to instructions and my decorator is at a loss as to why it looks so bad.I tried contacting customer services but have received no response at all.I have emailed 3 times and phoned twice.Truly awful company and awful paper.I didn't think to ever read reviews on wallpaper as didn't see the need now wish I had seen other people's reviews. The paper will need to come down and be replaced at more expense.

Bought Arthouse Marble Patina Charcoal Natural from The Range - Never Ever Again will I buy Arthouse paper. I so wish I had seen these reviews before buying because they are absolutely correct. For some reason the paper doesn’t like the wall paper adhesive and I always use branded adhesive. Every single edge has peeled and big sections of the paper have no adherence to the wall. I’m an experienced wall paper hanger and have never had such a poor quality paper. Avoid at all cost - you have been warned!

After buying expensive luxury Italian wallpaper from the range it shrunk a huge amount while drying and literally fell off the wall, tried a 50/50 mix with pva and wallpaper to no avail, to get a refund needed 3 strips unused to post to arthouse, all original packaging, original receipts and photos. after several phonically and trips to the range with different advise given as 'the range' just stock it my contract is with arthouse (cop out) I was messed about by 'the range' and arthouse..... would never buy arthouse again, went to B&Q literally threw on the wallpaper in 1.5 days and looks fab.

This is the second arthouse wallpaper I bought because I really like some of the prints, but the quality is not suitable for the purpose they all shrink and it looks awful. They must take note because they should not be allowed to sell something called wallpaper, it would be better off as wrapping paper.

Be prepared for 4 days hard graft with diapointing results that looks a mess

I purchased stardust cream wallpaper when it was hung and we stood to look at it it's got a pink cast to it so now have to replace it as it doesn't go with the other paper a big waste.of money wouldn't recommend or purchases any more arthouse paper if they can't get a colour write

I recently bought wallpaper described as navy, with hares and foilage on. The wallpaper arrived and it was grey. I rang up the company and was told to email.was also informed that should I want to return the wallpaper...(obviously grey not a navy background, despite being labled navy. ) I would have to pay postage and packaging.
Not at all happy. I am still waiting for any response. Arthouse, please have the manners to sort this issue and respond.

We purchased Arthouse Meili Trees Embossed metallic glitter rose gold wallpaper from Homebase.
The paper is terrible quality the left of each strip of wallpaper has a darker background compared to the right hand side possibly caused by how it is printed, this has a terrible effect as it means each joint along the wall is emphasised, it is difficult to see this until it is on the wall and with the light on it. Not a good quality wallpaper!

Avoid at all cost. I have been a Decorator for over 30 years and this brand is the worst paper I have ever tried to hang. Edges curl as soon as you paste it and when trying to hang the edges just seem to move out of alignment. Takes twice as long to do a room and you constantly have to keep going back to seam roll the edges.
