Not impressed so far. My son completed a few tests during the trial period, but after I paid for a full subscription, nothing works. The website is stuck in a loop asking us to subscribe again, even though we already have. On top of that, they are flooding my inbox with emails trying to sell more products. They should focus on ensuring customers are satisfied with their initial purchase before bombarding them with more offers.

Bea is an exceptional nurturing music teacher!

She is teaching both my children piano and her patient and encouraging approach has supported them both to achieve a number of grade exams.

Furthermore she has guided them through preparing for their 11+ Music aptitude tests enabling them to secure places at our local grammar schools.

I highly recommend Bea to any student. Her passion for music is genuinely infectious, and makes it fun for students to learn.

Ash and Bea are two highly dedicated and talented musicians that have put together an outstanding programme to support students through the 11+ MAT. Our daughter has used the digital course to improve her ear training, the jump in her abilities from before starting the course to now has been both exciting and rewarding to watch as a parent. I had come across their YouTube channel while searching for Music Aptitude material for 11plus. I found their videos very useful and to the point. After subscribing to the app we got access to loads of sample tests for each category of the test. My son could focus on the weak areas separately. We did face some initial glitches with the app which were resolved immediately when I reached out to Bea. I really appreciate their promptness and responsiveness.
The material is very good. My son qualified for the Music Aptitude tests for Tiffins Boys and Wilson’s school.
I highly recommend their app and videos. The app is reasonably priced in comparison to the other material and apps available online.

We had a great experience with Ashbea Music. My daughter took music aptitude test and past with flying colours (#2 out of 19) getting music place at Twyford CoE school London. The lessons were very well structured and well delivered. Also they accommodated our schedule -very flexible. Recommended!

My son completed the 8 week 11+ MAT course with Ashbea Music the summer before his test at Dame Alice Owen’s school. I cannot speak highly enough of Ash and Bea’s warm, engaged style of teaching and way of motivating the kids through what can be fairly repetitive practice! They are very genuine people and skilled at what they do. We also used the app. My son scored highly enough to gain an audition at the school; we’re very happy with how it all went.

Ashbea Music were essential in securing his highly competitive Top 27 placement at Moulsham High School.

We began with a private Zoom session before enrolling in weekly group classes and mock tests.

The online app was invaluable for training, which our son used twice daily for three weeks leading up to the exam.

Ash and Bea's instruction was outstanding, making complex concepts so accessible-even for completely clueless parents!

My son Zayne joined Ashbea Music about six months before taking the Music Aptitude Test for Wilson’s Grammar School, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made!

During that time, he used their Music Aptitude Maestros app every single day. At the beginning, his scores hovered around 45/60, but by the end he was consistently scoring 55/60 — a fantastic improvement!

Over the summer holidays, Zayne entered the app’s “Streak Mode” competition, which motivated him even more. He ended up winning first place and was absolutely thrilled to receive a beautiful tablet as his prize! That experience kept his enthusiasm high all summer long.

Bea also ran weekly group classes on Zoom, diving deep into the theory and structure of the music aptitude exam. These sessions were incredibly helpful — especially the monthly mock tests, which gave Zayne valuable practice and confidence. We were even sent printable mark sheets to simulate the real exam environment — such a thoughtful touch!

The Music Aptitude Maestros app is truly exceptional, and I cannot recommend it enough. Thanks to Ashbea Music, Zayne not only passed his Music Aptitude Test but actually found the real thing easier than the practice sessions!

My son enrolled in the 8-week Music Aptitude course. Ash and Bea are amazing teachers who put lots of their effort to make the child understand the topic clearly. The course is well-structured and each week they focused on different topics like pitch, rhythm, melody and texture. My son throughly enjoyed the course and faced his 11 plus aptitude test with more confidence. We have also subscribed their music app and it helped him immensely for the test. My daughter absolutely loved the 8-week Music Aptitude Mastery Course from the very beginning. After the first session, she told me her cheeks were hurting because she’d been smiling and laughing so much, and I could completely see why. Ashley and Bea make all the children feel immediately comfortable in their virtual music classroom. Everyone is made to feel welcome and able to contribute their ideas without fear of getting anything “wrong.” They offer a safe space for little minds to grow into inquisitive musicians who love exploring the nature of sound. The course takes you logically through the four sections of typical music aptitude tests, building in difficulty each week, and then concluding with several revision and mock test sessions to simulate the real MAT test. My daughter loved the format and has grown so much in both confidence and ability over the 8 weeks, and we believe she’s now in a strong position to tackle the tests in the autumn. Thank you Ashley and Bea for making what is quite a dry test into such an enjoyable and positive experience for all the children!

We first discovered Ashbea Music through their YouTube channel, which we’ve been watching for quite some time. The videos are some of the best we’ve come across, so when my son started lessons with Bea, he was honestly a little star-struck 😊 after following the channel for so long!

He now attends the Music Aptitude group lessons every Sunday, uses the Music Aptitude Maestros App, and has also completed the Texture Masterclass course. The support and guidance Bea provides are outstanding she’s always ready to answer questions, offer advice, and encourage her students every step. It’s clear she genuinely cares and wants each student to succeed.
Bea’s passion for music is amazing. From what I’ve seen of the online lessons, she comes across as warm, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable.

My 10 year old daughter had some lessons for 11+ musical aptitude tests and she was very happy with Bea. Bea is very good in communicating with children and make lessons fun and interesting for them. My daughter had 51 marks out of 55 questions in musical aptitude exam and was very happy. I would highly recommend Ashbea Music for anyone preparing for musical assessments.

The lessons with Ash have been very beneficial for preparing me for my university music production course. I did not have the option to study music technology for A Level, but my lessons with Ash equipped me with greater knowledge of sound, and by the end I had a solid portfolio to present to my university.

We had a wonderful experience with Bea who supported our daughter with her music aptitude 11+. In a short amount of time our daughter gained a lot of confidence in understanding the process and unlocked an interest in learning more about music

Highly Recommend Ashbea’s Online Piano Lessons!
My daughter started online piano lessons with Bea a year ago, and we couldn't be happier with the results! Bea has a very friendly, patient and encouraging approach, which has been perfect for our daughter. Each lesson is structured in a way that allows her to learn at her own pace without feeling rushed.

The lessons are interactive and engaging, with plenty of guidance and positive feedback. I’ve already seen a big improvement in my daughter's confidence and interest in music, which is a huge win for us! Her reading ability has significantly increased and she is now able to work out the notes in her new pieces. It’s been a wonderful experience for us and our only regret is that we had not started lessons with Ashbea Music earlier!

With their help my child got the 11th place of 20 for the Music Scholar at Twyford CofE High School.There were tested over 500 children .
