Audio T Reviews

Audio-T allowing home trial of new cables is an essential part of upgrading individual systems in their home environment. Delivering the cables to my home, as it was on their commute, is an added and welcome bonus plus there was no pressure to return them within a certain timescale.

Thank you again to Andy at AudioT Swindon.
His knowledge, and attention to detail, and friendly and helpful advice is always assured.
We will certainly be coming back to AudioT Swindon for our next HiFi purchase.

Attended one of the turntable sessions, which was excellent in every aspect, informative, relaxed and sharing the love of listen to music through equipment of excellent quality with like minded people Matt did a great job.
I've been using the Cardiff branch since i started my HiFI journey and the no pressure friendly advice always helped me achieve the sound i was looking for. if your looking to upgrade or just starting out this is the place to GO!

Over several months, Jon at Audio-T gave unstinting support as we worked through a thorough upgrading of our HiFi. We can’t praise Jon and Andy highly enough for sharing their experience and advising us so well. Very happy indeed with the result.

Cheltenham Audio -T first class service again as always.Jon and his Boss Kevin arrived at our home dead on pre arranged time,to deliver, assemble and setup our new speakers.Time was taken to assemble and for placement to suit our requirements. The boys had time for tea & coffee and a chat. Finally fire up system and make sure all was correct before leaving .

Attended the recent turntable session/seminar at Audio T Cardiff hosted by Matt.
Had a great time, listened to different genres of music that I wouldn’t normally listen to and picked up a lot of tips about turntable care and setup.
Well worth the visit.

Very helpful and knowledgeable

Bought an ex-demo amplifier at a very reasonable price - excellent condition on arrival and very happy with the performance.

Excellent customer service and communication from Dan/Rishi/Gareth, many thanks!

The help I received from Thomas in Manchester and Paul and Adrian in Brighton with my Online purchase was exceptional. They kept me up to date throughout, going out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly. I couldn't recommend Audio T and their staff more highly.

Excellent customer service, super friendly, great selection of products at different price ranges. Very happy! Will definitely be back when I want to upgrade or add to my setup and will recommend to any friends/family. Listening rooms are comfortable and you're not rushed in there, given time to properly test anything you're thinking of buying. Adrian was very knowledgeable and friendly, the whole vibe in the shop is friendly and relaxed. Anyone thinking of buying HiFi gear I would recommend visiting Audio T

Extremely friendly, efficient & knowledgeable staff who leave you alone to demo equipment at your own pace. There is no pressure to buy and they do not try to influence your choices in any way. Bought from them on numerous occasions & wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Incredible knowledge and levels of service. Genuinely interested in helping you get you the best system for your needs. Wouldn't buy hifi gear anywhere else.

Although aware of Audio T, availability of specific goods meant that I’d previously dealt with Richer Sounds, Peter Tyson and Hi-Fi Corner. All of whom did a great job. But as I was to discover, Audio T go above and beyond. When it comes to customer service and tailoring the right deal.

What I wanted to do was trade in my KEF R3 Metas, a pair of REL subs and KEF Coda W’s, for some Fyne Audio F5S stand-mount speakers, Fyne Audio Cubit 5 active speakers, and the Acoustic Energy AE320 Mk2 floor-standers. This quite complex arrangement was easily sorted out by the excellent Alan at Audio T in Portsmouth. I was very pleasantly surprised to discover that not only could I have my goods delivered to my home in person, but that Alan would also be able to pick up the part ex goods and handle the boxing/unboxing. All at no extra charge, which as I live on the Isle of Wight was a real boon!

Even when it proved impossible to supply the Cubits due to an exclusivity arrangment, my deal was still on and the loss simply meant that I would owe less. Audio T’s flexibility when it comes to part ex deals and the personal service is something that no other company I have dealt with can offer. In due course, Alan arrived at my door, set up and packed up while we had a great chat about music, and with a handshake headed back to the ferry terminal.

As for my new gear, the little Fyne Audio speakers needed taller stands to be in line with our ears, and a few days to sound their best, but after that when combined with our Sonos Mini Sub, we’re getting a very nice sound for TV use. The system also doubles as a pretty decent little hi-fi, for when we just want to check stuff out. The Acoustic Energy AE320 Mk2 present a very different sound to the KEF/ REL combo they replaced. At the time of writing this review I am just over 2 weeks in, and so the speakers are not yet burned in. But right out of the box they look elegant, and sound epic. If the KEF/Rel combo was a little more revealing (at least for now) then the AE’s are warmer and the scale is much greater. Before Alan suggested these speakers to me I had intended to buy some Dali Opticons. The AE’s were another £500 quid, but this turned out to be money well spent. Quality speakers for those of us who understand that quality comes at a price, but also that price has its limits. Paying a lot more for a better known name or hand-crafted cabinets is something I’m happy to leave to those who can afford the luxury. Because the sound is paramount and what I have is already superb and likely to improve still further when the AE’s are burned in. I should also report that the sound is coming from a Volumio Rivo streamer, into a Chord Qutest DAC and out to a Roksan Caspian 4G amplifier.

In summary, I can wholeheartedly recommend Audio T in Portsmouth, and Alan in particular, who was helpful, highly informative and a pleasure to deal with. Audio T’s willingness to be flexible with PX and their ability to arrange home delivery at no extra cost really makes a difference.

The items I purchased were excellent and the service was great!

Friendly staff, good service

I've bought from your Cheltenham store many times over the years and have come to value and trust the advice they offer.

Excellent support in supplyin and installing my new Audio Visual equipment

Can’t speak highly enough of all the staff at Audio T Cardiff. We dealt with Matt and he was superb from start until finish with the process of buying a full hi fi set up. He always had all the time in the world and didn’t rush any element of the process. We tested different equipment at the store and then once we’d narrowed it down to a few options he came to the house to test the acoustics of the room it would be played in. Full set up then once we’d decided what we wanted. Absolutely brilliant customer service and knowledge to go with it. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their services. Easiest 5 stars I’ve given to any shopping experience. Thanks guys.

Knowledgeable staff, great products and reliable service.

Excellent dealings with Audio T. Would purchase from this shop again.
