Good customer service from Paul and his team. Having purchased our car we had a couple of problems, nothing major a window mechanism. The part was ordered and efficiently fitted by Pauls team. Everything we asked for was provided . I would recommend Avon Car Sales

Appalling customer service! Agreed to view a car this afternoon only to be told it’s now not on site till Thursday. Turned down £100 overtime and my girlfriends doctors appointment to be messed about.

Edit: as per the reply, we were told we needed to be there at 16:00 or earlier and agreed to contact upon departure, it was explained that I do not know my finish time at work so can’t advise an exact time till later in the day. I rang as soon as I finished work to be told the car is now not on site. No contact before or anything from the dealership stating things had changed.
He did offer us to reserve the car for £250 but this was for them to prep the car ready for collection not to hold it to be viewed, I’m sorry but I’m not paying money out on a car with that amount of miles to get there for it to potentially be a shed, I explained this and got attitude down the phone.
It was explained that someone had booked to view the car Wednesday hence us pulling out all the stops to view before then, all this was explained.

Our eta was the previously agreed time of 16:00 and not out of the opening times as stated in the reply.

Very much got an it is what it is response rather than a sorry we’ll work with you to get this resolved.

I then had a phone call back because he then didn’t like the review left. Still no apology just asking why this review has been left and threats that he thinks it’s slander etc, wasn’t able to talk too much about that once I stated slander must be something that’s untrue and in fact I hadn’t written anything untrue.

It clearly isn’t the first issue of customer service by this garage and all the claims of untrue reviews don’t seem to add up given our experience.

Overall a good experience, very friendly staff and when I had an issue with the vehicle they fixed it straight away under warranty no questions asked. I would definitely recommend going forward.

Just picked up my Audi A3 from Avon Car Sales and I am over the moon with it. Even more so than the car, the service from Paul was absolutely impeccable. He had my car fully prepared in under 48hrs including a new, clean MOT and service! Car is immaculate and combined with the quality of the service completely solidified the notion that I bought from the right dealer.

I have purchased a number of new and used cars from Paul Lippett over the years, and recommended friends do the same, and they have. Not just because he always tries hard to offer the best possible deal to suit us, or even because he’s brave enough to withdraw a car for sale if it doesn’t match his expectations.
I keep going back because he personifies what most of us actually want when we spend our hard earned money on something important. He is honest, transparent, determined to problem solve whenever needed, and prides himself on being all of the above and more.
Now working within Avon Car Sales, I know he continues as he always has, and whilst it may feel unusual to experience his faultless ethic, just try it!!! You won’t be disappointed . I really appreciate well mannered people, from the first point of contact Stefan was upfront and really helpful on the phone. Paul the sales man was really flexible with booking times and fitted me in on his lunch break, showing me that they are really busy but fitted me in around their busy schedule. I understand that with restrictions and the fact the second hand car trade is really busy, sales man are up against it, and really appreciate honesty and going the extra mile to help out. I really can’t say how happy I am with my new car and have recommended Avon car sales too lots of my friends an contacts because of my experience. The after care of the workshop was also second to none, I had a simple build failure 2 week's after purchase, and the bulb was special order, I was given a curtesy vehicle, this i was not expecting because my understanding was I was not entitled to one, they had a automatic also, I was happy it was a little run around also as it helped me out. The car was delivered back to me the next day so I had no inconvenience from my day to day routine. Amazing all round. Thanks again Avon car sales and definitely will use you again in the future.
