Took way too long (almost 6 months after full payment) and the quality does not align with the sales pitch. Since we've had, the ignition is shorting out, one seatbelt fell off, the back seat was not bolted down. I made the mistake of buying from them vs. local. I would recommend local as they will stand behind the quality.

Ordered a 4 seater forward facing custom cart on March 7, 2026. Service was great during the sales process. After they collected money I could not get a hold of my salesman again. I could not get straight answers on when my cart will be finished or shipped.
Finally, they sent me photos of the cart to approve prior to shipment. The wheels were wrong and the cart was lifted even though I ordered a non lifted cart. That meant the cart had to be built again and could not just be lowered. I was given the option of getting my money back minus 3% or wait another 4 months for a new one. To say the least, I was extremely disappointed and insulted by the 3% fee for their mistake. Finally got all my money refunded. Can't imagine how this would have went if I received my cart and at some point needed service. I woula twice about ordering from these pe Looking for a custom golf cart elsewhere. I also posted a review on their website. They remove any negative post within a day. I would NOT trust this company.

Before I purchased the golf cart, I was assured by salesman that delivery would be a date of my choosing to a vacation home and part time residence. After a 4 month period of time to have the vehicle ready for shipping to me, I provided 4 separate 3 day windows for accepting delivery. After the 4th request 6 months after purchase, I was told that to guarantee a 3 day window, I would need to spend an additional $4k to do so. Extremely poor communications and management before and after purchase

Needed dependable family transportation for our golf cart community. The 6-seater capacity works perfectly for our family of four plus friends. The folding rear seats accommodate sports equipment and grocery runs.We use it for school pickup/dropoff, grocery shopping, community events, and beach trips. The 70+-mile range easily handles our busiest days without charging concerns. The kids appreciate the Apple CarPlay for music during rides. The backup camera helps with parking...11 months of daily use with zero mechanical issues. The cup holders could be larger for adult beverages. Also, the seats require regular cleaning with active teenagers. Essentially maintenance-free operation though. Just occasional washing and tire pressure checks

First golf cart purchase after moving to a cart friendly community here in SC. Had no prior experience with golf cart buying or ownership, but we went with a 6-seater and have been very happy with it. The cart is intuitive to operate. The multimedia display makes it feel like a small car rather than a utility vehicle and the cart maneuvers well on the road. Feels safe and we also went with the 3-point seatbelts and adjustable armrest seat style. VERY comfortable! My teenage daughter loves the Apple CarPlay feature. The lithium battery has been completely maintenance-free as promised. No issues after 9 months of daily family use.

After three years of renting different golf carts in our neighborhood, we finally decided it was time to buy our own. I was looking for something dependable, safe, and easy to maintain. I came across Backyard Escapism and was immediately drawn to the fact that so many features came standard. Delivery to Arizona was smooth and handled professionally. The cart showed up exactly as we ordered, complete with all the paperwork needed for HOA registration. The street-legal certification made community approval simple... and that's no simple task with my neighborhood!!!

Needed a versatile cart for both neighborhood transportation and light trail use around our mountain property. The lifted suspension and brush guard handle the terrain around our cabin well. We've used it on fire roads and around the lake without issues. The extended range battery provides confidence for longer explorations. The street tires we originally selected aren't ideal for loose gravel trails - we bought a second set of more aggressive tires for that use. Also, the multimedia screen can be hard to see in bright mountain sun at times. Overall has been a great buy for us though!
