Bag Borrow or Steal Reviews 

I received my shipment promptly, but I am disappointed in the bag itself. The description was fairly accurate, but you often don't know if you'll like the bag and if it "fits" until you have it in hand. The fact that I couldn't return it was a huge disappointment. It was way over priced.

My experience was a great one. I decided I needed a clutch purse for an event at the last minute and Bag Borrow or Steal came through for me. I received the bag in two days just in time. It was in perfect condition. I will definitely be back for more.

Awful experience selling a bag. Received conflicting email messages regarding item being accepted and later rejected with no explanation. This item was in excellent condition.

I sold a Gucci bag over a month ago said they sent a check on June 23 never received one the worst customer service I ever got been selling items with them for over eight years and never had a problem

I sold my item to Bag Borrow or Steal, and I regret it. While they offered a slightly higher payout than Fashionphile or Rebag, the experience has been stressful and disappointing.
I sold my item to Bag Borrow or Steal, hoping for a smooth process. Unfortunately, it took more than 6 business days just to authenticate my item. After authentication, I was told to wait an additional 3 to 7 business days for payout via PayPal — which they haven't even processed.
Despite reaching out multiple times for updates, I only received generic, copy-paste responses with no real answers or clear payout date.

This experience is a stark contrast to Fashionphile and Rebag, both of which authenticated and paid me within 24 hours via direct deposit and kept me well informed throughout.
Selling should be quick and transparent. If you want fast payment and reliable communication, avoid Bag Borrow or Steal and go with Fashionphile or Rebag instead.

Very slow to send money.

I have purchased a few handbags from Bag Borrow or steal and have always been happy with them UNTIL I tried to sell back one. I only carried it for maybe 4 months and decided to sell it back to them.
They responded to me that due to the "condition" of the bag they would not purchase it back. I complained and they called me. I told them the bag is in the same condition as when I bought it. The rep said it was because it had previously been a rental that they were not interested. I WAS NOT told when I purchased the bag it had been a rental and had no further value to them. I am verry unhappy with Bag Borrow or Steal.

I really like this handbag. In fact, I decided to purchase a new one from LV after this rental. I received the rental in a couple of days. Everything about this service has been great so far.

Return policy is dishonest if bag condition is not as advertised.

Great service

Poor customer service. The website indicated after they purchased the item that the payment would be processed within few days. That is not true and the customer service reps responses were far from customer friendly. This one particular rep by the name of Jem V was very rude in the emails and would not further investigate nor answer my questions that i had addressed. Kept coming back with same messages and when i then requested a supervisor or a manager, this individual did not refer and came back with a rude answer. Do not appreciate their customer service and they should update their portal with correct information with payment processing times.
