Been using Baopals for a decade now. Saved my life while I was living in Shanghai. And now that I'm back in the States, I can get my favorite items from Taobao delivered right to my door.

Honestly I tried buying off Taobao directly before and just gave up. Couldn't read half of it and my card never worked. Baopals handles all of that for you. Everything is in English and the prices show up in my own currency so I actually know what I'm paying.

The part I didn't expect was that they put stuff from different sellers into one package. I ordered some clothes and a few random things for the house from like three or four shops and it all came together, which kept the shipping down. Worked out cheaper than I thought it would.

I also messaged their support about sizing on a jacket and they went and asked the seller for me before I bought it, so I didn't end up with the wrong size. The Discover section is good too, you can see what other people are actually buying instead of just guessing.

No real complaints, will be using it again.

I used Baopals for years while living in China but recently tried shipping internationally. The shipping process was easier than I expected. They packed my purchases from multiple sellers (clothing for me and some small gift for friends) and everything was super easy, not to mention affordable.

The descriptions in the images are usually in Chinese but they have a translation tool so you can see everything in English and their service team helped me get some answers about sizing from the seller so I would end up with the right one.

All in all, excited to be able to access all the great deals and products that I got used to while living in China.

In my experience, this is the best way to buy from China, because most of the shoppers are foreigners already living in China. So you can see what products and sellers are popular and trusted - I recommend using Baopals' "Discover" section for this.

The customer service is great too - you can live chat with a person (during China business hours) and they follow up to make sure you're satisfied.

Baopals.com is a way for international customers to conveniently buy products from chinese webshops to be delivered to a Chinese address.

My first experience with this platform was pretty negative. I bought two products, and used the Ideal/Wero payment option to pay. I paid the money, got redirected to the payment landing page, which did not show my orders. After contacting their customer support, they asked my to provide all kinds of payment information, while later notifying me that there was a bug in their payment system when using Ideal. They had disabled this option in the morning (but only partially). In the end, they refunded the payment and I had to order again.

The customer support does not have tools to compensate their customers for any trouble caused by Baopals. In the end, I had to reorder my order and I had to pay a higher amount as the price of the products had already increased by then.

All in all, unreliable payment software and a responsive but ill-equiped customer service.
