My order has just arrived today

My order has just arrived today, and I couldn’t believe how small the pots were. I’ve not opened them yet but the instructions say that I’ve got to mix the two components together. I’ve only got one. The writing is so small that I can’t read most of it. My room is 3ftx8ft, there is no way this is going to cover. I cannot read the instructions on the pots, so it would be helpful to have script with larger writing. When I ordered these the instructions said that one pot would cover the size I needed, but I ordered two to give me better coverage. I can’t return it because it is going to cost me more money to do this and I feel I’ve already spent enough. I would like any help you can give me to rectify this.

Having ordered 6 x tins of epoxy floor…

Having ordered 6 x tins of epoxy floor paint and not receiving confirmation of my order I contacted customer services. Advised that they had no trace of my order and to send my order number, well if I had one I would have!! Then on checking my bank found £95 pending payment yesterday and later the money was taken from my card. So I’ve paid but no goods, I have requested more than once for details but so far nothing. If they read the emails it doesn’t take a mathematician to see I have paid for my goods but no confirmation of my order. Be aware as this company sent into liquidation in 2024!!!

Brought 3 tubs of floor epoxy resin…

Brought 3 tubs of floor epoxy resin said was going to cover 8-12m2 and the 3 tubs I received were a different brand altogether and the tubs say they cover 1.6-1.8kg of solution to 1m2. Each pot is 500g!! We were miss sold this product, ripped off as I do not have enough of this product to carry out the work needed. Also why is it not the Louis Forest product that I ordered?

Falsely advertised as a tub covers 5.5 sqm the large tubs I order arrived around 3/4 full. This is nothing more than black paint. This is the large tubs as they advertise. You'd need 10 tubs to cover the area barak advertise one tub covers. Avoid total scammers
Update these want you to close refund request through PayPal so they can ignore you afterwards. Do not do this as PayPal will not re open the case and barak3 won't refund you. Typical lies do not believe the the reply to this post they are liars and scammers

Do not order from these their products do not match the adverts or invoices and when you raise the issue they're reluctant to do anything and certainly do not comply with their own refund policy.

What a farce company I bought their waterproof polyurethane coating buy 3 get 1 free paid £71 and after one week received a notice saying that they were too heavy to send together. When I eventually received they are no bigger than a jar of jam and no heavier . It is disgusting saying one bucket does nine square metres you’ll be lucky if all four does four square metres. Got screwed by this Vendor. Avoid.


On January 28th, I ordered temperature adjusted, with the click of a button, heated socks with batteries from this vendor for £22.98 but instead, on February 6th, I got, in the post, heated socks, with no buttons, that you plug directly into the mains supply, and which I know for a fact are useless, and no batteries.

Their advertisement clearly showed 1) a battery for each sock and 2) adjustable temperature via a button on the top of each sock.

I got neither. Just socks that plug into the mains. I have that type of socks already and know for a fact that that type of sock is useless for warming feet for long.

I complained to both the vendor and PayPal. Vendor emailed me back to offer me a partial refund (about €12 out of €22.98), provided I closed my PayPal complaint. I refused. Vendor then offered me a full refund, provided I closed my PayPal complaint. I refused.

Then PayPal put in place a process, sometime after February 13th, without my agreement, where I could get a refund, provided I physically return the item back to China. I had already thrown away the external packaging that presumably had the shipping information when I first got the items. I had and have no intention of going through the expense and trouble of shipping them back to them anyway. I never requested PayPal or Barak3 to put in place that process.

After PayPal put in place this process, I couldn’t directly update PayPal any more on the vendor’s email interactions with me. Essentially, the final judge on the question of refund became Barak3, not PayPal.

At this point, PayPal had already essentially decided against me, despite initially claiming when I first filed a complaint about Barak3’s delivery with them on February 6th, that a final decision would not come until February 27th, not February 24th when the return item window timeline officially closed.

I got screwed. Avoid this vendor, Barak3. Order battery powered adjustable heated socks on Amazon instead. You’ll get more protection. Chinese vendors do not give a damn about the consumer rights of overseas folks.

UPDATE:

Barak3 replied below and asked me to write back because they want to make amends. I did so using the email address they gave me. I immediately got an error message back.

“Sorry, we were unable to deliver your message to the following address……”

They have apparently blocked my email, despite inviting me to email them back.

UPDATE 2:

Barak3 has issued me a full refund via PayPal

Absolute joke of a company - as per other reviews, i ordered aersol clear sealant to seal wall - received a small tube of liquid gel. Ordered a sealant spray for a shed roof and a 100ml bottle of cream arrived. After numerous emails with their customer service, I resorted to raising a claim with Paypal where they suggested returning the item before I get a refund. The return was around £10 and the item was £17 so it wasnt worth the effort. Feel let down by the company, who will no doubtedly reply with we are sorry for your inconvencience. This appears to be their default response to everything. Paypal also let me down by not protecting their customers from a fraudulent company. Shame on you Barak3. Steer clear
