The perfect mix of style and comfort
I never write reviews, but I’ve gotten so many compliments on these shoes, which is shocking because people have made a point to call my other barefoot sneakers ugly. Its really nice for a change!! I got them for work so I stand on them all day and they have been great. Also the measurement for the size on the site was perfect, you just have to break them in.

Die Abwicklung was absolut unkompliziert und die Schuhe auch super schnell bei mir. Die Qualität ist einfach der Wahnsinn. Es ist mein erster Barfußschuh und ich hatte keine Schmerzen bei der Umstellung. Dieser Schuh bietet nicht nur unheimlich viel Platz, er ist auch sehr bequem.

Por fin calzado barefoot bonito!
El proceso de compra es muy sencillo y, además, cada mes quieren dar visibilidad a un modelo de zapatillas, por lo que aproveché para dar el salto al barefoot. El envío llegó rápido en unos 3 días y todo correcto! Las zapatillas son muy bonitas y de calidad, todo lo que prometen.

Shut the door!
Shut the door! I literally stumbled upon these beauties while I was touring in Europe. I have been on this quest to find THE perfect shoe. Quest is fulfilled. First, the toe box is crush free! Not since Earth Shoes (70's) have i found a shoe that respects my foot as much as these. Meanwhile, there is arch support up above and just the right amount of cush through the heel. As for quality... I've carefully inspected and I cant see how these things will ever deteriorate. Extremely durable materials impeccably stitched. Then the look is outstanding, cutting edge, a bit on the "to be seen side". BTW if you are like me and order shoes up a size because of the toe crunch problem, here you order your TRUE size as the toe box is designef to be accommodating. I got my true fit size and they went on like Cinderelley's slippers. Like they instantly fit my feet as if they were handmade for my wicked wide clubs. Quick delivery too. So I'm going to buy a spare, thats how much I like them.

Las zapatillas son preciosas y súper cómodas, al principio están un poco más "duras" en la parte de atrás, ya que son tipo bota. Pero en seguida que las das uso se acomodan a tus pies. En lo único que estoy descontenta es con la empresa de transporte, tuve muchos problemas durante casi dos semanas para recibir el paquete estando ya en mi ciudad, por mala gestión de GLS.

Recht klobig
Die Schuhe sind in der Werbung und auf der Website sehr hübsch präsentiert. Die Realität ist eine andere, das Material ist sehr hart, sodass ich gleich Blasen bekommen habe. An den Füßen fühlen sie sich sehr klobig an, wie Skischuhe nur viel leichter. Ich habe wasserdichte Schuhe mit Profil gesucht, um mit den Hunden Gassi zu gehen, dafür sind sie okay. Für alles andere eher unpassend. Ich habe Barfußschuhe von unterschiedlichen Fabrikate, auf die ich zukünftig zurückgreifen werde.

Urban Edge purchased Nov 25. Lovely well made comfortable shoe. However I’m really sad that they make my feet sweat. I thought they weren’t waterproof at first, but the wet socks are from the inside. Would be great for super cold conditions, but as a daily shoe in the UK, they’re too warm. I don’t suffer with sweaty feet in other shoes. Gutted.

Thank you for sharing your experience — we’re really glad to hear that you find the Urban Edge well made and comfortable, but we’re truly sorry that the warmth has made them uncomfortable for daily wear.
Urban Edge is designed as a warmer model, so in milder or humid UK conditions it can sometimes feel too insulated, especially if you’re moving between indoors and outdoors throughout the day.
To help reduce sweating, you might try: Wearing thin merino wool or moisture-wicking socks (avoid synthetic blends that trap moisture). Removing the insoles after use to improve airflow overnight.
That said, we completely understand that thermal comfort is very individual. It’s disappointing when a shoe you otherwise love doesn’t suit your climate or daily routine. Thank you for your honest feedback — it really helps other customers choose the right model for their needs.

Mi bota no tiene la impermeabilidad que corresponde al ser water proof. Tuve que poner una reclamación en la tienda, pero la empresa Barebariks es la responsable directa de realizar las comprobaciones pertinentes de todos los productos que lanza al mercado uno por uno. Debe garantizar al cliente la seguridad máxima de lo que compra. Han pasado 12 días desde que avisé en tienda del problema y 3 desde que solicité por escrito en una reclamación la devolución de su importe o unas botas nuevas y no tengo respuesta
