Can’t comment on the product as I haven’t received it and will now contact PayPal to assist

Unethical practices

Unethical practices. Point of sale website unclear - pushed sale through without final confirmation. Called Bare Earth within 35 minutes of purchase and they said they could not cancel the order because it was already "processing". Did not offer any solution. When pushed they said I could refuse delivery and have the item returned and it would be refunded otherwise a 25% restocking fee would be charged. They could not tell me what carrier would be shipping the item. I would rather buy from small businesses but practices like this is why Amazon wins.

Bare Earth delivers.

My blanket came in 3 days. Honestly I was surprised. The box was heavy & I thought what have I done by ordering something I can't even pick up off the porch! It is heavy to sleep under but I fell asleep rather quickly which is unusual for me. I have been able to change positions n still be completely covered. I am satisfied for now. We'll see what happens when the air conditioner comes on.

Tried to cancel my order before it was shipped and they said it could not be cancelled. They said just 'REFUSE' the package and it would be returned to them - EXCEPT - there was NO RETURN ADDRESS on the shipping label.

Trying to contact the company is worse than impossible. Their third party distribution company does not answer the phone. They request you leave a message with your name, email address, and phone number. Left multiple messages with ZERO responses. Sent multiple emails requesting an RMA for an UNOPENED package. Same result - NO RESPONSE.

Finally went to my credit card company to initiate a dispute with the hope that they will respond and issue an RMA and credit.

After posting this review, the company finally made contact. Thirteen days after I initiated my request to cancel my order. They issued a RMA and told me I had to pay for the return. Not an issue as I still advise future customers to not do business with this company based upon my (and other customers) inability to easily cancel or return unopened products.

Performs Exactly as Advertised!

The blanket and cover perform exactly as the advertising and reviews described. My wife is finally able to actually sleep through the night. I do worry that she will abuse the privilege and nap often during the day!

Terrible return process, customer does ALL thecwork

The blanket is lively, but will be too warm fie summer months. I have been trying to return the blanket for over a week. When someone did finally return my call, your return process is cumbersome and makes me, the customer do all the work. Offering a 20% discount to keep the blanket was beyond insulting. The fact that I need to track the package and try and got a hold of someone in the company once it's been delivered is absolutely ridiculous. Don't YOU have a way to track when YOU receive a retun. I think you are purposefully making the process hard, so there are no returns. You shoukd be ashamed of your customer service policies.

Blanket attractive but too warm and heavy.

Delivery was timely.Ordering was easy. The blanket itself looked good. But it was too heavy and heated up, which a reviewcI had read said it did not do. By all means skip the cover. It's impossible to get the blanket straightened out inside the cover.

Worst Customer Support ever!

Worst Customer Support ever!
Do employees even work at this place? The "create a support ticket" link doesn't work on their site, if they answer the phone, it's only after an extremely long hold, and there are ZERO replies to customer emails. They shipped products to me in error, charged me, won't cooperate about a refund, and tell me that I need to pay the return shipping fee. This place is a JOKE! Don't waste your time.

Don't buy anything from them

Please be aware that this is not a functional company. The staff people are very polite and professional but you wait on hold for over 30 minutes and up to an hour to reach anyone. Emails are not answered. The return process is that you pay for return shipping and they will take a restocking fee of 25% if they claim it is not in good shape. Make sure you document your item with pictures before returning it. It is your responsibility to have the package tracked and they will not contact you once the item is returned. Then you have to again call them and wait on hold to finalize the return. I was offered 25% off to keep the product. While this does not seem worth it, if the company claims the restocking fee and there is no way to dispute that, then it is worth it to bite the costs and walk away. I would never purchase anything again from this company.

Bare earth is a joke

Bare earth is a joke. I never received my grounding sheets. Waited 2 months. However, they did give me a refund which shocked me. When I Google best grounding sheets, bare earth comes up # 1. Why? Its a scam!

If I could give negative stars I would, SCAM COMPANY!

If I could give negative stars I would. Ordered as a gift, I chose not to even open the package and send it back. First call was the RUDEST woman I have EVER encountered who told me I was lying and the amount of the invoice I stated was wrong. Second call, Vanessa, was minimally better and said that despite the website saying specifically: Restocking Fee
• All returned items are subject to inspection.
• If an item is received damaged, used, missing parts, or otherwise not in resellable condition, a restocking fee of up to 25% of the purchase price may be deducted from your refund."
I was told that even unopened I would be charged a restocking fee of 25%. When I read her the exact words of the website, she said it did not matter, that is what I'd be charged unopened.
She then offered to refund 40% if I would keep it. I agreed to avoid the lie of 25% restocking fee and return postage, and she said then it would be 30%. When I called her out on THAT lie, she agreed to the 40%.
I don't even know if this piece of garbage works but from reading the other experiences, it looks like a total SCAM. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
I HAVE INVOICE INFORMATION PROVING THEY ADDED TO IT. I NEVER EVEN OPENED PACKAGE WHEN IT CAME AND THEY LIED WANTING 25% TO RETURN IT. WEBSITE DOES NOT SAY THAT AND THEY LIE WHEN YOU CALL THEM. PACKAGE REMAINS UNOPENED. THEY WILL NOT ADHERE TO WHAT WEBSITE SAYS, LIE OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND WILL NOT TAKE RETURNS. There are SO many reviews and FB pages talking about their scam. This was ordered on my card for me by a family member, I NEVER EVER would buy their scam. I HAVE THE INVOICES AND WEBSITE LANGUAGE PROVING THEIR LIES.

Based on the reply: the restocking fees are NOT what I was told and not what was going to be applied to a completely unopened package never touched. Add on charges were denied even though I have them in print. You continue to lie. I'm stuck with $300 of product I won't even open and you refuse to honor in return and 30 day "guarantee" based on your published word. Easy to put your reply here and NOT do what you say, so I'll continue to spend my days putting on the internet how you work.

UPDATE: BARE EARTH STATED: "I’m truly sorry for the frustration and distress this situation has caused you. That is never the experience we want any of our customers to have, and I sincerely apologize for how this has made you feel.

I want to let you know that the remaining balance of $______ has now been fully refunded to your original payment method. Please allow 7–10 business days for the refund to be reflected in your account, depending on your financial institution’s processing times."

well, here I am yet again telling you that they are a scam and all they do is lie. Still no refund and no answers from them. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!
