Best suppliers polite and always delivered on time Eddie our rep is in every other week very friendly and shows us new products and explains in detail about products couldn’t fault them at all

Barkers are a fabulous wholesalers, they carry so many excellent product ranges, and often hold great training days.
Our rep Sharon Mayhew is absolutely incredible, always supportive, friendly, and professional, she is a real asset for Barkers.

Sharon is the best rep I could ask for! Deliveries are always on time and when I need them, she’s always keeping me informed of all new stock and launches. Moving away from a big, well-known professional brand and choosing to work with Barkers was honestly a massive decision for me as a salon owner.

When you have a busy salon, an employed team and clients who trust the products and colour you use, changing something this big isn’t just about swapping products. It affects the whole business. I’d been used to working with the big names in our industry, so moving across to a local wholesaler felt like quite a leap and, if I’m honest, I was nervous about it.

But it has been one of the best decisions for The Hair Base.

What has stood out for me is the support. Barkers haven’t just supplied us with products and left us to get on with it. They’ve taken the time to understand our salon, our team and what we are trying to achieve as a business.

Having a team means education and support are really important to me. I need my team to feel confident in what they’re using and I need to know that if we have a question or need help, there is actually someone there. That relationship has made such a difference.

We’ve been supported through the change, through education and through growing what we offer within the salon. It genuinely feels like they want our business to do well, rather than us simply being another account.

As an independent salon owner, I’ve realised that having a huge brand name behind you isn’t necessarily what makes the biggest difference. Sometimes it’s having the right people beside you who know your business, answer the phone and genuinely care about helping you grow.

For something I was initially quite scared to change, I can now say I’m so pleased we did.
