Exceptional customer service
Our fans have been constantly on this summer, so you'd think there wouldn't be an opportunity for dirt and dust and plain old funk to build up on them - but you'd be wrong. I was thrilled to stumble across barnakl's products, and ordered three kits (for our three fans). Due to a recent health issue, I haven't been able to try the kits out yet. What I can say is that I had an issue, and I reached out, and I expected a canned response or just another cookie cutter solution. Instead, I got Toni. A real person responded to me, and then compassionately followed up with me when they noticed I maybe missed their email. Toni is awesome - thorough, and kind, attentive, and solution oriented. Things are tight right now but I guarantee you this: If Toni is the kind of person that stands behind your product and brand, you've got a customer for life. Thank you so much for everything. 1. "30 day breathe easy guarantee" Money back guarantee is only valid for unopened items. If you try it and it doesn't work, you get nothing,
2. If you research anywhere about how activated carbon filters work, they are not designed to trap pollen, dust, dust mites, etc. Some will get trapped, but not tiny particles. Many surfaces will catch dust, such as ceiling fan blades with nothing on them.
3. They talk about how ceiling fans move more air than air purifiers. Possibly, but pushing air is much different from filtering it. I wouldn't drink water from a water filter that allows most of the water to go around and not through it.
4. Real air purifiers tell what size particle they can remove, not the %.

You are also right that standard activated carbon is primarily known for helping with odors and certain gases. Barnakl uses activated coconut-shell carbon with a highly porous structure, and our testing through ARE Labs indicates that our filter design can capture particles such as dust, pollen, and pet dander, in addition to helping with VOCs.
And we agree with your point that moving air is not the same as filtering air. That distinction is important. Barnakl is designed to use the existing airflow of a ceiling fan to move air through the filter material as the fan circulates air throughout the room, rather than simply pushing air around.

I’ve been meaning to reach out
I’ve been meaning to reach out to Barnaki to change the type of filter I’m receiving automatically and then a Barnaki Ad came up on IG. What? So I went to their IG page which I follow but rarely ever see them there. Asked how to change filter order and voila……it’s done with a short chat back and forth to clarify a few things. I told the person thank you and to have a blessed day and wouldn’t you know it, I get a final reply from Angelica! Thank you for the immediate response and help with my order. I love the Barnaki range hood filter and now I’m going to try the 5-blade fan filters.

Just another scam
Edit: 10-08-26 This product and their claims are pure lies. I've had this garbage on 2 fans for over 2 months and they look as new as the day i put them on the blades. Total BS. I should have known when they don't have any phone support.
So they ask for an email so they can respond, and I did take the time to email them back with why I gave a 1 star review. I never got a reply. How's that for customer service. What a sham. This company does not have phone support for a reason, and it's not a good one.

Exceptional Customer Service
Besides Barnakl ceiling filters being amazing... I had accidentally "subscribed" to the product when initially buying and when I saw a notice that the next shipment was coming, I panicked, as I have had some financial strife in the last couple months and was not prepared for this payment. I immediately emailed customer service asking if I could cancel the shipment and cancel the subscription, for the time being. An incredibly warm and speedy response came back and Angelica was so quick to cancel the order and thank me for my business. Communication was bar none, and the understanding and empathy from this team was incredible! I am so appreciative for small businesses such as this and I will be back.... soon!
