great experience so far as a physician
As a physician I have had a great experience with my team at Barton, led by Thomas Fogg. From coordinating travel, licensure and credentialing, and assignments they have been phenomenal. I’ve never had to worry about getting paid and in time.

More than 4 years ago, I decided to transition from FT practice as a PA to focus my efforts on Locums assignments. That is when I forst came accross Barton Associates and Whitney Ambler. I've had the opportunity to do FT and sporadic coverage lovuns assignments. What has stood out during my time partnering with Barton, has been my recruiter, Whitney. Over the last 4 years, she has taken the time to learn my strengths, the type of organizational and unit culture that alligns with my perosnality and skill set. Many locums companies and recruiters use VOIP phone numbers. And while I am sure Whitney also has a business and personal cell, she is readily available to assist. She communicates more clearly than ithers regarding when she will be OOO or unavailable, especially if working an assignment. Having a recruiter that takes the time to learn the organizational culture and the oerosnality of the provider to ensure there is a fit; compared to throwing any candidate at any role, provides long term success for the provider and develops relationships between Barton and the health systems. I have been very happy with my work with Barton, and its directly related to Whitney.

Kathryn Gorham is a true Gem. I first met Katie (Kathryn) on the Phone. She introduced herself as a representative of Barton and Associates.
She was and is a professional, as well as personal with her conversations.
She discussed my interest in the field of Dentistry and the things I did not care to do.
She always let me know about positions available.
She would go out of her way to ensure I got paid and was covered for my travel and hotel Expenses.
She would contact me after her work hrs. and many times when she was sick
I felt I was the only person she managed but I know she managed other Dentists.
I became friends with Katie over the next year
If I was still in Private Practice, she would be a person I would recruit for my practice.
I have been contacted by other Recruiting firms but none of them come close in meeting her standards.
She is by far the Best of the Best.
