Excellent local sustainable haberdashery
Bawn is one of the greatest local shops. I love their ethos, the options available, and particularly the customer service. Bevan, and all the staff that help out, care so much about what they do and how they can help us all be better sewers. With their support I have gotten back into sewing again and have a number of me-made clothes. I only wish I had more time (and space) to make more.

Superb, ethical and quirky haverdashery
Excellent range of dressmaking fabric, notions and patterns along with excellent chat and a a calm warm vibe. Independent makers curated and deliciously covetable things. Should probably downgrade due to the threat to my bank balance but that’s a me problem not a Bawn problem. Honestly, just go. They’re ace.

I love this Shop! What an absolute joyous space. A beautiful selection of fabrics and haberdashery items all responsibly sourced, with serious effort put into using natural materials and locally made pieces. Bevan has built a magical place that is an absolute jewel of the southside.

Favourite Shop in Glasgow
Bawn is my favourite shop in Glasgow. They stock a really beautiful selection of sustainable dressmaking fabrics, plus patterns and haberdashery. It’s my first port of call if I’m starting a new project. It’s also a really lovely place to visit and Bevan is incredibly knowledgeable about all things fabric and craft.
