Belle Academy - Hair Extension Courses Reviews 

Yesterday I joined the hair extension course with Angel and Emily in Nottingham, previously I had done a course with another company online which I didnt feel was very good.
Belles course was really good, and Angel and Emily were both very friendly and extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
I highly recommend this as a course if your learning extensions as a business or extra to your hairdressing business.

I had a training session last Friday for a c2 course and I was surprised how unprofessional the teacher was she was more interested in talking about dead people and funerals then explain theory side of the extensions and answers questions I had asked her about the placement of the extension on the head and she said don’t worry about that I don’t need to tell you I just need to see you put it in! Any questions I wanted to know she said don’t worry it’s in the book if I wanted to learn from a book I would of done a online course with the amount you pay for the course just a waste of money I have waited this long to leave a review so I can hear back from other courses to see if this is what it is like on extension courses and they was shocked to hear what I had to say very unprofessional not happy would not recommend.

Firstly, I want to mention our tutor in Liverpool today Emily was fantastic. She was patient, attentive and full of knowledge. I couldn’t fault her at all.

However, the course it’s self I think was strangely structured. I don’t believe the tape weft should be a different course to the tape ins as these are exactly the same. The same with a celebrity weft and a hidden weft. I also think that qualified hairdressers should not be mixed with people who have zero knowledge about hair. This could possibly be a question asked on booking. I understand people learn at different speeds but I felt as a qualified, a lot of questions would have been avoided saving time. I feel like I spent half of my time waiting for others to finish things such as sectioning…

On the welcome emails it mentions refreshments on arrival. This is not the case, make sure you have water with you. I’m not sure if this is location specific but we had to go and buy water.

I think the Kit is very basic for the price. In the booklet it displayed glue remover in the kit. This is no longer included. The colour wheel included only has a small amount of shades on so you need to buy the bigger better version on the day, they take the small one back off you?

In terms of the teaching/learning and the skills, it would be a 5 star review. Given the structure of the course and the basic kit Iv given a 4.

I came to belle academy for the first time to train to do a brazillian keratin blow dry. I had angel as my tutor, angel was very professional and friendly and thorough with explaining how to do the blow dry step by step. And was very helpful. The after results was amazing and I can't wait to start doing them in salon. I would recommend 100% if your wanting to train to do any courses with belle academy .. thanks angel x

I loved the course I did for two days with Angel and Emily they are very thorough and explained everything very well I definitely would recommend this course for anyone that wants to learn different types of hair extensions

I completed the Hair Train Course C3 and it was absolutely worth the money. Angel was amazing — so knowledgeable, supportive, and clear in her teaching. The course was well-structured and easy to follow, and I left feeling confident and inspired. Highly recommend to anyone serious about improving their skills.

Absolute amazing experience I learnt so much and took so much away from my experience with this company and will be doing more courses in the future xx

Iv had the best experience with Belle Academy, Emily our teacher was so patient and her knowledge was unbelievably helpful on every level. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I can't wait to practice to improve the skills iv learnt. I totally recommend Belle Academy.
