I went into this course a bit skeptical, worried it might repackage content readily available on YouTube - but it quickly proved otherwise. Ben goes far beyond his free material, placing a strong emphasis on intentionality and thoughtful decision-making in the creative process.

While a few lessons felt familiar or overlapped with his existing tutorials, they made sense within the structure of the course - especially for those who aren’t already deeply familiar with his content.

Motion Foundation and Design Breakthrough genuinely reshaped how I approach my work. Motion Foundation in particular has had a lasting impact; I find myself applying its techniques regularly. As a result, I’m more efficient, more creatively focused, and better organized - and I credit much of that growth to Ben’s courses.

Ben's tutorials are incredible. The best I've found for After Effects related-workflows. He not only reinforced my fundamentals but also helped me think better about how to create anything in After Effects. I truly have not found a better source for learning than him.

I took Ben’s design for motion class. Not only was it hours of valuable insight and information, his way of teaching is second to none. Everything he explains feel very clear and concise. I have also seen Ben’s youtube channel for tutorials focused on animation and as I said before, they are second to none. I highly recommend taking his courses if you are a beginner or a professional.

If you’re tired of "tutorial hell" and constantly pausing or reversing YouTube videos every three seconds just to catch a clue, this is the best investment you can make. Ben has a way of breaking down the most technical parts of After Effects so your head doesn't spin, and the structure actually forces you to create. You end up with project files and assignments that look like "premium" professional animations you’d actually put in a portfolio. It’s definitely an investment compared to free videos, but it saved me months of frustrated googling and trial and error. I love this course!

I have all of Ben's courses. Why? Well, he's a great teacher with an engaging personality for one. For two, his animation courses cover all the bases by focusing on the 12 key fundamentals of animation, using solid, simple techniques without the need of investing in loads of After Effects plug-ins. And three, and best of all, his courses are design led, so you become aware (if you weren't already) of the importance of composition, good taste and appropriate visuals for whatever project you're working on. I cannot recommend his courses enough.

I’ve taken a few of Ben’s courses and I can’t recommend them enough. I’m primarily a video editor, and Ben’s wealth of knowledge of all things After Effects has completely transformed my workflow. I went from being an After Effects novice to someone who uses it every day. I’m not just a video editor now. I’m also a designer and animator, and I attribute those earned titles to my time spent taking Ben’s courses (and watching his stellar YouTube channel). No matter your skill level. I highly recommend you try Ben’s courses if you’re at all interested in design, animation, or improving the efficiency of your workflows. There’s something for everyone (from beginner to advanced). Ben’s the best!
