I visited John at his Horwich studio for some headshots for promotional use. John is a professional but the process is very relaxed and informal he knows how to guide the entire process from where to stand how to position the lights and how to get a smile at the right moment. He also talked me through the software he uses to process& edit the photos afterwards. I was really happy with the results and surprised how quickly I received the finished photos.

I went in expecting a clinical, awkward headshot session, but what I got was the exact opposite. From the moment I walked in, John was welcoming, friendly, and instantly put me at ease.

What was supposed to be a quick 30-minute shoot turned into a relaxed conversation of around 60 minutes, that happened to involve a camera.
