There's much to love about Best Bus. Sure, sometimes the hand sanitizer runs out, and occasionally fellow passengers can be selfish and entitled, but the drivers are spectacular, the buses pristine, schedules super-reliable, stop locations ingenious and well-planned, conductors are flexible and friendly, and the cute, thoughtful bonus of bottled water when we board means a lot. Unfortunately for me, many are discovering this gem and it's getting harder to book a last-minute seat.

The bathroom in the bus smell really bad, also was dirty and no toilet paper during half of the trip.

Good service by driver, and staff at both Vienna departure & NYC drop off. Slight delay due to traffic, but overall good experience. Convenient for those in Virginia who do not want to go into the District to get the bus to NYC.

The wi-fi did not work during whole trip.

The people checking us in were very friendly and helpful. Both trips - WAS-NYC and back was very pleasant and on time.

NYC to Northern Virginia: On time. No fuss loading/unloading. Reasonable price. WiFi working. Plugs under the seat. Good to go.

I have recommended this bus service to so many since my first ride. BestBus is clean, timely, affordable and they give you a bottle of water; so polite as well!

It was a great trip.

Bus was comfortable with large seats and enough leg room. The employee that was at the bus stop was great. Bus driver was great. The only thing is that the bus broke down in the middle of our trip between NYC and DC. We waited for some time on the bus...then the bus driver started driving the bus again. There was a leak somewhere...but the bus was driven with the leak going on.

Clean, free water, wifi actually works and pleasant people. WAY better than greyhound or peter pan.

Back and forth to NYC from DC twice. Great drivers and beat the schedule both times. So convenient. Thanks

Personnel were efficient and courteous, most of bus very good and service good, but your lavatory is small, hard to use on a moving vehicle and becomes disgusting very quickly when used by inconsiderate passengers and, let's face it, many students who use your service are in that category. That is less of a problem if you have the expected rest stop, but on the way back, a "vote" was taken and the rest stop was eliminated. The rest stop is also needed so passengers can stretch their legs and avoid problems of not doing so. I'm not sure I can continue using Bestbus if you don't include the expected rest stop. That should not be an option.

Free water, always on time, great drivers.

I have taken Best Bus on several occasions and it has consistently provided great service at a good price.

The customer service was great, as well as the water bottles. The only downside was on the way to Dupont Circle we did not have an outlet in our seats. Other than that, it was great!

Good compromise travel for low cost tickets.

We were stuck in traffic due to an accident and instead of being apologetic or even nice about it, the driver was incredibly rude. Additionally, after we arrived at the station, she insisted on driving further away even after several customers requested she stop. When the bus finally did stop, one lady tried to get off the bus and the driver yelled, "Excuse me! Are you going to let me out first?" and she shoved her way towards the front. Very rude driver. The bus was nice but in the future, I would probably opt for cheaper options because the service is better.

I've used the service numerous times without incident, buses are clean and comfortable. Was only late once for pickup due to mechanical issues with the bus.

BestBus got me from NYC to DC in a reasonable amount of time. Not the most comfortable ride ever (for example, the cup holder was broken -- or at least it was unable to handle the weight of the free bottle of water provided), but it got the job done. If I wanted greater comfort and speed, I would take Amtrak for more money.

Best bus was cheap and convenient enough. It just took much longer (both ways of the trip) than it said it would on the website, and the bus was not as clean as I would have expected/wanted. But they got me from point A to point B, so it was fine.
