I live up in the North West of England, moved here from Manchester, my Turkish food shopping days were over.

Been holidaying in Turkey for over 30 years & you cannot help it - you not only fall in love with the country & the people, you become obsessed with the food!

It started off me looking for Turkish Extra Virgin Olive Oil, I found a place in Turkey who press theirs & sell it thru a shop in London.
Couldn't believe the price so I purchased 5L.
It arrived the next day.

Mailshot I received offered £5 off shopping which equated to free p&p so I made an order.
Filled my virtual basket, one order was a spinach & Feta cheese wheel a cigar shaped pastry rolled round, round continued until the size of a 12" pizza.

Goods arrived, opened & I noted the insulated bag which caused panic and disappointment because it must mean the Feta cheese pastry has defrosted? & ruined - I was wrong.

The Feta & Spinach wheel had been packed in an insulated bag containing an ice pack.
Though defrosted it was cold.
Treating it like a pizza I cut out a triangle as you would a pizza slice & put into my air fryer- 20 mins later, perfection!
And it was just the flavour I love.

Stuffed aubergines, vine leaves, amazing bread - thanks to Best Grocery I had a day of memories as well as remembering great food.

People of Best Grocery have welcomed me to their community which is a wonderful in itself.

A disability affects my mobility which means I am no longer able to travel to Kalkan & Fethiye are of Turkey any more so now, with the best of ideas, with the help of Best Grocery -

Ordered multiple items to make up the minimum order of £20.00. The order after a few days was cancelled by “Best Grocery” with an email stating that they did not have items in stock. I was refunded the money.

Really efficient. Once ordered everything came really quickly in freezer bags with ice. Excellent service. Would definitely use them again.

This is not a direct criticism of best grocery but I have tried to contact them and heard nothing so it does impact my experience. DHL delivered the order late and lied about delivering on time and said I had signed for it when I hadn’t. Therefore when the order arrived everything had gone off and I had to bin majority of my purchase as it was all perishable .

It's not called Best grocery for nothing. I've been shopping from them for a few years now and there is always good availability, fast delivery and most often the cheapest prices compared to other online sites selling Turkish products.
Customer service has always been very good too.

Having visited Turkey over many years I was really keen to find a supplier of Turkish groceries that not only had a good range of products but that were still affordable as well. Best Grocery fitted that bill.
The additional requirement related to shipping costs. Living in the Channel Islands is always tricky to get shipping at a reasonable cost and with reasonable speed. Best Grocery have been great in sorting out a really and reliable shipping route that still reasonably priced.

Prompt delivery in good secure packaging. Products were all fresh with long dates. Very pleased with my purchase. Will definitely use them again.

Ordered 10 Turkish Pide , so so disappointed. Arrived soggy from burst cooling pouches and what weren’t destroyed were very thin , old and leathery. Nothing like I used to buy when I had Turkish food stores local to me when I lived in London
