Dude. This was a breeze. Bestow is the real deal.

They were unable to assist me with buying more coverage from Bestow to add on to an existing policy I already have with them due to technical limitations in their system, not because I couldnt qualify. Said theirs a technical limitation om their end that if you ever want to buy another policy from them or add coverage to an existing bestow policy you can't after 30 days. Said they can't even cancel your existing policy and sell you a whole new policy. Horrible business practice and I've never heard of a company not wanting or being able to sell you more of their product if you qualify of course, due to a technical error... buyer beware with Bestow, one you buy a policy you can never make changes or add coverage or buy a new policy again so make sure you know exactly what you want when you first purchase or don't have any life changes down the road because bestow can't accommodate them.. I've never heard of a company doing such a thing and not being able to sell you more of a product they sell, craziness. Definitely not recommending bestow to friends/family or local agents I know bad customer service. Hire a coder or IT manager to fix your technical limitations for crying out loud.

As I stated in other reviews, I was bit by the "age at your nearest birthday" problem. I originally wanted a 20 year policy, I filled out the initial quote late at night 6 months and 2 days before my birthday. After taking a day to compare some other offers, and research how I should best distribute my beneficiaries, I signed back in 10 hours after my "nearest birthday" changed and was no longer able to select a 20 year policy. I would have appreciated a WARNING or at least a NOTE stating that my 20 year option was only an option for 22 hours, had I been notified of that, I would have been quicker accepting the offer. When I tried to ask for some assistance from customer support, I was summarily dismissed. No suggestions to reach out to "underwriting" no offers to see if something could be worked out, no checking with a manager to see if an exception could be provided, with or without a higher premium. Merely, this is the policy, these are the cutoffs, tough luck you got screwed, but, hey, we'll still allow you to spend a boat load of money for a 15 year policy, and, if all goes well, you'll outlive the 15 year policy and we won't have to pay anything out.

Easy to purchase, affordable premiums. Whole family bought term life insurance on Bestow and feel very protected.

The application process was very simple. The rates are very reasonable I was approved in minutes I like the fact that everything can be done online. Bestow appreciates you as a customer. You have the convenience of online access with the personal touch of customer service if you need them

I signed up for my life insurance policy and was very excited to have been approved for a 1 million dollar 20 year policy. It took me a couple days to determine which of my cards I would use to setup my recurring payment and whether I should list my child as a second beneficiary or not.

Whelp, it just so happens that I received my quote 2 days before my "calculated" age changed. Apparently the calculated age is your age at the time of your nearest birthday. In that 2 day period, my calculated age shifted from 50 to 51 (you know because 6 months before you are 51, they claim you are 51). Had I know that the 20 year option was going to disappear in a matter of 36 hours, I would have sped up my beneficiary and payment decisions and would have been a happy camper.

However, after chatting with support and asking to speak with someone higher up in the chain, I was basically told, too bad, so sad, you're now 51 so no one can do anything about getting what you want.

At this point, I am just a dissatisfied customer hoping that this expensive 15 year gamble will actually pay out.
