Advertising with BGS is one of the best promotion vehicles I have ever used. Used numerous times and will keep going back for more services. Lawrence and his staff are helpful and always professional. If you haven't tried BGS, you NEED to!

I researched support options before publishing my first novel, and BooksGoSocial proved an excellent choice for me. They were steady, professional, and easy to work with from start to finish.

They built my WordPress author site using the photos and information I provided, and the result was clean and polished. They also helped refine my book cover—shaping it into a professional design that fit the tone of my novel.

They handled the KDP upload process for me as well—description, keywords, categories, and all the behind-the-scenes details that can feel overwhelming the first time through. Any time I had a question, they responded quickly and clearly, even after the main project was finished.

I appreciated their professionalism enough to thank the BooksGoSocial team in the acknowledgments of The Signal Tree. Their support helped me move confidently from a finished manuscript to a published book.

I continue to enjoy their newsletter, which regularly shares helpful insights for indie authors, and I look forward to working with them again on my next novel.

Having used several BGS services and attended the International Dublin Writers' Festival, I've found them to be very straightforward and helpful.

Laurence has two great things going for him: (1) He knows the book market and (2) his customer service is easily the best I have ever experienced. He answers emails very quickly and he always has exactly the right advice about what to do when he does so. I have my ticket for his next gig in Trinity College Dublin (International Dublin Writers' Festival) on the 15th August. I got a lot of value from last year's festival, and I expect the same from this one.

I have used BooksGoSocial for 10 years. I recommend their social media advertising. Their Facebook ads for my Amazon book gave it renewed life. I was amazed at how many new readers bought my book and left reviews. They quickly respond to emails with questions and concerns. They care about their authors and keep them up-to-date with a newsletter and online courses.

There are companies out there that offer author services with the only aim of making themselves money, and then there is BooksGoSocial whose drive (I believe) is to help authors.
With authors amongst their staff, BGS understand not only what authors need, but the uphill struggle they face. BGS offers daily free advice as well as their paid-for services.
I think I have used just about every one of their services and can recommend all of them, especially their excellent Facebook ads and their stacked promotions.
Their free-to-enter monthly competitions are great, and I was over the moon when I won one. But for me, probably the thing I am most grateful for is the opportunity to pitch through them… not only to agents but to film producers.
I was so lucky to be picked as one of the authors who pitched to Ken Atchity at one of BGS annual conferences. After initial interest and several emails following our live video chat (done in front of the conference), Ken decided my book wasn’t quite the right fit for him. But what an opportunity! I will always be grateful to BGS for how they help to get authors noticed.
I have been using BGS services since 2017 when I paid for my first Twitter advert! Gosh, so long ago! I hope to carry on letting them help me along my rocky road for many more years.
This is a company of real people, polite, thoughtful, helpful, who understand how I feel and what I need, and (I believe) their ultimate goal is to help as many authors as they can to succeed. If you haven’t guessed… I highly recommend them.

I write fantasy and science fiction and have published a number of titles. I've used BooksGoSocial in several capacities over the past 8 years. Their cover design services are excellent and affordable. I've also used them for ads, consulting, and finding reviewers. The latter included posting my books on NetGalley and joining their (free) groups on Facebook. BGS gives high value for the money, and I can happily recommend them,

I've used other book promotion companies but have always returned to BGS - because they get results. Also, Laurence and staff are approachable and ethical (and not all book marketeers are!). The current 2 month Facebook ads BGS are handling for me are producing ROI, which is the name of the game. Recommended.

I'm an indie/hybrid author, and I've used BGS since I started, over four years ago. I have found them to be trustworthy, effective, and more than fair in pricing. Mostly, I use them for NetGalley and proofreading. I learned a lot from the free information and videos they provide, too. Laurence is accessible and knowledgeable.

Books Go Social is a great company dedicated to the promotion of stories and writers. I've used their services since 2019, and if you go on their website you'll find a video review I posted there. Remember, these are people, not algorithms, they'll work for you, while an algorithm won't.

I’ve used there NetGalley coop for three books and have had success with all of them. My books aren’t written to the market, so the fact that they got any reviewers is a good sign.

I haven’t used their other services, so I can’t judge them. I will say that they are an honest company and will try to help your book succeed. Which makes stand out in the self-publishing world.

I have known Lawrence and books go social for several years now. And I have been very pleased with the work he has done and for the efforts he has put out for not only my works, but also others. I find him honest and a hard worker who does exactly what he said he was going to do. I highly recommend him to other authors and publishers, etc. that wish to use his services.

I’ve now used Books Go Social twice to format and launch my Prime Time Travelers series, and I plan to keep coming back. What really sets them apart is the personal, one-on-one approach. I’m admittedly a bit particular about details like icons, chapter headings, and fonts, and the team was fast, patient, and professional throughout the entire process.

Beyond formatting, they also refined my blurb, categories, and launch setup, drawing on their deep knowledge of the self-publishing world to help my books reach the widest possible audience. I highly recommend them to any independent author looking for both expertise and genuine support.

I think an auto approval function for Netgalley ARC reviews would be a strong addition. Otherwise a very supportive organisation with good comms.

Terrible customer service. They did nothing they promised. It was a complete fiasco and waste of money.

I had dealings with BGS a while ago and pretty much everything they could have got wrong they did. I should have known when my proof copy arrived. It was a simple novel but the formatting and the layout of the text were all over the place. The cover design and back cover blurb, upon which I admittedly conferred, were not up to the task and needed to be completely changed soon after. The main problem with the novel though? It was the wrong size. Fiction paperbacks should always be 5.25"x8". Not smaller and not bigger, this I emphasised more than once to Mr. O'Bryan. How difficult can this be to get right? My novel looked like some cheap, children's text book. I liaised with with him to correct all the mistakes only to be told that once the size has been decided upon it is impossible to change.

This has particularly bugged me over the years because I have written other novels the design and selling of which I have managed myself. Without difficulty. My regret is when they all sit upon my, or anybody else's, shelf they don't look as cool as they should and that is because this inept company is unable to get even the basics right.

Needless to say they burned through my money with minimal sales. When I pointed out all the mistakes they had made they uploaded my new cover design without issue. Then I asked Mr. O'Bryan if I might leave a review of his team's efforts on his website. He managed to bribe/dissuade me from going there by refunding me some of my costs and contributing a little to my sales campaign. This I accepted only to see the usual, pathetic level of sales.

All in all an awful experience. My advice, do your research, ask around and launch your books yourself. You won't be any worse than this mob.

Lawrence from BooksGoSocial contacted me and refunded me in full, which I greatly appreciate. I purchased the Gold Plan for $225 for 60 days of promotion, no extra charges! Yeah, right. They ran through my $75 ad budget in 2 weeks and then asked for $150 for advertizing AND $75 'admin fee'.
Zero new reviews and my revenue was $30.
I did get a video "consultation" which was more "I can do whatever you want, Amazon ads, FB ads, Instagram...whatever. Well, if I knew what was best I would've saved $225 and done it myself.
Do not recommend.
