Big Bus Tours Dublin Reviews 

Gerry, our BigBus driver, made our tour instructive about Dublin but especially he made it pleasant and funny. It was a great time we spend thanks to him!

We went for a tour with Big Bus Tours Dublin and we were totally entertained by our awesome Bus driver/Guide who was very knowledgeable by all the things in Dublin. He certainly did give us a great commentary and we had some great laughs. Very clever and engaging with all persons on board. Absolutely loved this Tour and we would highly recommend it and especially if you get this guy. I just wish I could remember his name? A for Amazing.

Top quality bus tours by Big Bus Dublin and thoroughly recommended. Our experience was definitely 5star because we had a top tour guide, Jerry, whose Irish wit and banter made the whole experience really enjoyable, he should probably be on the stage. The itinerary itself was good but more three star hence overall 4 star rating. Most of Dublin is walkable but the actual live commentary through speakers not the horrible out of sync headphones made it worthwhile.

great tour, good value for money

I took 4 American ladies on the Dublin tour and I was totally blown away by the wonderful. witty and very informed commentary from Tony. Clearly, a true Dub and a total joy to listen to. We loved every minute of this great tour and cannot recommend it highly enough!

We had the best laugh on Gerry’s tour. He was hilarious and so informative. You can tell he loves his city. Had us singing along too!! He absolutely made our day. Loved it and would highly recommend

Jerry (Suzann for the friends) was an amazing guide! We didn't get off the bus because of him! He kidnapped us with his jokes and his love for his city! Thank you again for this experience!

Great experience, very informative drivers and funny , especially David. Buses every half hour and always on time . Highly recommended. Worth the money. Thanks

Ross bought our tour to life! He was so good that we didn’t get off the bus anywhere! What a laugh? You made our experience of Dublin a whole lot better. We had fantastic weather too, overall a great experience and well worth the price, so much so that we are using the same tickets the next morning to have a second trip, unfortunately Ross isn’t around so we’ll be making do with the recorded version.

We bought our tickets through the app. Stood at the bus stop for 45 minutes while the 3 buses showing on the app were all over the river and not moving. Eventually got a lift to the museum instead.
We asked for a refund and were told we weren't entitled to one, despite there being no service and the tickets not being activated. Extremely poor product as there were no buses, and non-existent customer service. Avoid!

2 of the 3 buses were showing as offline on the live map the day we tried to use our tickets. One of them being miles off the grid and nowhere near the route shown on the map.

The single bus that was showing as online was on the other side of the river and no estimate was provided as to how long it would be that we were waiting to be picked up. We checked it for 20 minutes and it barely moved.

We mentioned it to our friend who offered to drive us to our destination instead. In the time taken for her to go and get her car and come back to us, the one operating bus still hadn’t moved any closer on the map.

I don’t think this sounds like a satisfactory service. Big Bus thought differently and while they offered an extended use period, we’ve simply no way of knowing if we can use it.

Our tickets were bought directly and clearly weren’t used or activated. They highlight on their website how simple the refunds option is, and that is what made me buy directly from them rather than through a 3rd party, yet 3 emails later they refused our request.

A long time since I took the tour but great experience, and lots of fun. I would look forward to doing it again.

Start of the tour was good our driver was funny and informative. We stopped at the Guinness storehouse as we had asked for these tickets only to find the street colleague gave us the wrong tickets even though we told him this was our reason for getting the bus as we had family visiting and this was where they wanted to go. At storehouse the staff helped us best they could but big bus had no way off contacting them by phone so I had to talk to someone thru the app which took forever and after standing in the cold over an hour waiting on the next bus I was told to buy new tickets and they would refund the others we had just spent €96 on the first tickets when we got on the bus again it was the man who sold us the tickets he was very rude spoke over the mic when talking to us saying we didn’t ask for those tickets which was a lie his commentary was very boring would of put you to sleep. My advice would be use the Luas and go places yourself. Customer service is non existent
