IS CONOR AT BLACKSTAFF A CONMAN? DO NOT BOOK!!!

Booked our group. Took our deposit. Confirmed deposit received via email. Nobody there to let us into venue last night. Phone number "not recognised" when dialled. No response via messenger / email. Snooker club next door utterly unhelpful. I see this is not the first time they have let bookings down. AVOID.

I still want our deposit back.

No one showed up. We had our booking from 5-7 and stood for 40 minutes till we gave up and just left. The place was closed. We tried knocking on the door and everything and we 100% got the booking date and time correct with a confirmation. Was pretty bummed about it since it was my birthday plan and that ruined my evening. The number to call didn’t work and emailing didn’t work either. We asked about people that were walking by and everyone told us that we were at the right place. So wouldn’t recommend :(

Hired both rooms for the night for a total cost of £500 for a 4 hour session on 12/10. Upon arrival I was told that they had double-booked the smaller room and did I mind.

To be honest, I felt a bit ambushed and I couldn't say no so I said that was fine and I was told some sort of refund would be worked out.

This was supposed to be a private party which we then had to share with a hen do, and we didn't have access to the other room we had booked for 2.5 hours, over half the session.

The following week I emailed asking what they think would be a fair amount to refund and received no response. It's now over a month and multiples ignored emails later that I am leaving this review.

Blackstaff have not got back to me, ignored my emails and basically pocketed a few extra hundred quid at my expense.

Not to mention the microphones worked intermittently and there were multiple problems with songs not buffering. Could have been decent but the fact the owners are happy to steal from customers to line their own pockets tells you everything. Avoid avoid avoid

We had booked a long session for my brother's 30th. There were loads of us and we all had an absolute blast. Staff were great and accommodating, they setup the projector for us so we could watch 6 nations before starting karaoke. Can't recommend highly enough.

My bridal party brought me and my fiancé here for our STEN. There was a group of 11 and the room was a perfect size. So many amazing songs to chose from and the lights and atmosphere were great. BYOB meant we could all drink what we wanted and the girls decorated with balloons etc. Helpful staff and an all round great experience. We would love to come back!!

We went to karaoke with a group of 11. The room was the perfect size for our numbers. We had the most amazing time! Everyone had an absolute blast. The songs ranged from all of our music taste and more....I 100% recommend! Only issue was my android phone didn't work to connect to pick the songs. But a friend's apple phone worked so it was all grand. Bernie and Co were brilliant host's!

Had a few hours to kill during our stay in Belfast and booked the karaoke last minute for a Sunday afternoon. The staff was very quick to respond to emails and very flexible with our booking since we didn’t know how long we’d be staying. Basically had the place to ourselves and our host Colin was great. Thank you!

Staff are great. Felt very personal. Great for private parties, events or just for fun. It’s a brilliant fun thing to do that was well needed locally.
