Our recent trip to London and Paris was amazing! We wanted to see and do so much and Jenni and her team made it all happen. From the guides, to the drivers to the app everything was seamless. The hotels they arranged for us were top notch and ideally located. We cannot thank the Black Tomato team enough for arranging such a wonderful vacation for our family.

I recently travelled to Cuba with Black Tomato and the experience was truly exceptional.

First it was a spectacular visit that greatly exceeded my expectations. Cuba is an incredible country of contrasts. The sophistication and beauty of the people, the art, music, architecture, food against a background of incredible poverty - yet still very safe.

Second, as a solo traveller, Black Tomato did an excellent job of allowing me to experience Cuba and the Cuban people in a truly creative way. From drum lessons in the back room of a world-famous percussionist, through a food tour with a highly eloquent former Havana University professor, to watching an amazing string quartet followed by a wild Cuban rap band in an warehouse turned into gallery and restaurant.

All in all, I was very impressed with Black Tomato throughout.

Our experience with Ian and Black Tomato as a whole was excellent! Ian made the whole process extremely easy for us by not only being extremely knowledgeable (especially with our wonderfully specific questions!) but responding quickly to our changing demands on the itinerary. Black Tomato offers such a unique and tailored service and we are so excited for our honeymoon!

Thank you Michael (Black Tomato) so very much for planning such a fun and exciting itinerary. We all enjoyed ourselves immensely while learning so much about about Morocco, its people, culture, traditions and rituals. I’m happy to say that none of us can point to just one adventure as our favorite. Each day brought something new and special.

Also, we cannot let go unmentioned the pinpoint precision with which the itinerary was carried out by our drivers and guides. Each one was perfectly prompt, highly professional and a joy to spend the day with!

We loved the accommodations of La Sultana and Olinto, both of which made us feel like royalty; and the night in the desert was truly a once in a lifetime experience.

We are most appreciative of all the extra surprises that you worked in — dinner at Dar Zellij; the fire breather in the desert and the hammam and massages at Olinto. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!

Superb support and advice in planning our holiday. Rob was very accommodating in tweaking our trip to meet our changing requirements. Recommended hotels and excursions were excellent. Our two guides were friendly, knowledgeable and punctual. Overall, excellent service and we will definitely use Black Tomato for future adventures.

We had a wonderful experience with a Black Tomato! Jeni and team did a great job planning our honeymoon to Oman and the Maldives. We wanted to go to the Maldives, but weren’t sure where to stopover on our journey from the US. The Black Tomato listed to what we were looking for in a stopover (culture, seeing a new part of the world, natural beauty, safety, activities) and suggested Oman. We were taken care of and loved our trip!

We have historically avoided travel agencies as the typical itineraries just always seemed to miss the mark. Black Tomato has officially converted us and gained a loyal customer. Our jobs don't allow us to have extensive time off, which is always a challenge. They managed to pack our bucket list trip to Egypt into 8 days without it feeling rushed. The accommodations were outstanding, the customized itinerary perfection (including a surprise brunch overlooking the pyramids), and the local guides so knowledgeable. Several fellow passengers in a large group stopped to asking us who planned our trip as our local guide whisked us away quickly to sites in personal transportation every morning. And best of all: zero stress with the ability to truly relax and enjoy the experience. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, including walking us through security and handling our luggage. I cannot rave enough about their services, and have already booked an anniversary trip to Greece this summer. Cheers to more adventures, Black Tomato!

We just had the most incredible trip to Chile thanks to Black Tomato. I worked with Tom, our travel advisor, to craft a very complex itinerary. Our goal was to cover as much of Chile during a 3.5 week trip but still maintain a reasonable pace. We hit the Atacama desert, Valparaiso, Chiloe, Patagonia, Easter Island, Santiago and the wine country. The trip was flawless, expertly crafted and everything went incredibly well. The lodges we selected were amazing. This was truly an epic trip and one of the best I've ever taken and I've done a lot of traveling. This was not my first travel with Black Tomato and they continued to craft and deliver a truly outstanding trip.

We couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect honeymoon. From the moment we connected with Black Tomato, Christie created the perfect safari experience in Zimbabwe for us. It was organised down to the last detail, from the moment we arrived in Johannesburg for our connecting flight to Zimbabwe to the last day of the honeymoon in Victoria Falls. We went to four lodges in Zimbabwe, each was unique but the service across the board was exceptional, and Christie was available throughout to deal with unexpected issues (like a local airline going out of business the night before our flight!).

It was the trip of a lifetime which we will never forget, and is definitely the first of many trips we will book through Black Tomato.

My wife and I booked our honeymoon through black tomato and honestly couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! The team was very helpful in curating the exact experience we wanted and the hotels we stayed in were simply fantastic. They were also so flexible in helping us as my wife had to change our dates last minute but they made sure to communicate with the hotels without any financial implications. The price may be a bit high but definitely worth it.

I am very disappointed in my experience with Black Tomato. I had done all of my research and wanted to set up a call with them to plan my honeymoon. It took them two weeks to respond to me via email, and then they claimed their responses went to my junk mail (which they didn't). Then, when a travel agent, Mikaella, finally got back to me, they scheduled a call with me for that afternoon and then never showed up to the call. If I'm going to spend that much on a luxury vacation, I need someone who is responsive.

Black Tomato has been a wonderful resource helping to create my wife and I's honeymoon.

With next to no help during the initial screening (as my wife and I wanted to do it all), Black Tomato was able to narrow the scope and craft a really awesome itinerary that we could then tweak and modify as much as we wanted.

Throughout the process, they were very helpful answering questions and never made us feel bad about asking "the dumb questions". Special shout-out to Tom for putting up with us. :)

I went to Egypt with Black Tomato in early 2019 and immediately signed up for another trip to the Middle East with them. I was originally supposed to go to Jordan in 2020 but Covid changed all that -- however, I am SO thankful I had the trip booked with Black Tomato. They rebooked everything with NO ISSUES and NO STRESS. I was so thankful that I booked my "big ticket" travel through them because they handle EVERYTHING.

When I was finally able to go in early 2022, they made everything happen with incredibly short notice. (Black Tomato makes exotic destination travel soooooo easy.)

Now on to the trip -- Jordan was incredible. Tom (their Middle East expert) was 100% dead on with everything I wanted to do, and was also flexible when I suggested a few tweaks here and there. And here's the other secret with Black Tomato -- their guides are WORLD CLASS. I have been on countless guided tours in my life and Black Tomato finds people that are just the absolute best. BT saves me hundreds of hours in searching for the best of the best. That's what I want when I travel and Black Tomato always delivers.

Also, a note to single female travelers, I felt totally safe in both Egypt and Jordan because of my booking with Black Tomato -- they make sure you have a guide with you at all times (if that's what you want). And all of the places they have you stay are luxurious AND safe.

Our trip to Argentina and Chile was typical Black Tomato - organized, efficient, top-notch everything.
Buenos Aires – hotel and area great. Romina our guide was fantastic. The ride to the Tango in the old-fashioned car was an unexpected and really fun highlight/additive. Empanada cooking class delightful. The surprise personalized tango was very cool –the sparkling wine and chocolates and strawberries made it even better.
Bariloche was absolutely gorgeous. Loved the Villa Beluno. To me, it was the best hotel. Room was spacious, and there were plenty of really good restaurants within 15 mins drive - Il Gabbianno was particularly good.
The boat experience/hike was perfect. Karen the guide was top notch, too, just like Romina.
Mendoza – wine country in the valley is amazing. Our guide Victor was also awesome. Gave us a quick 45 minute tour of Mendoza before the 90 minute drive to Casa de Uco, which is another typical Black Tomato hotel - top notch everything.
The wineries we toured were all amazing - Tempus Alba (the blending experience was a highlight), Casa El Enemigo, Siete Fuegos.
Once in Chile, we did the winery Vik which was very exclusive and gorgeous. We only spent about 40 hours there but we packed in a bike ride, horseback riding, wine tour, and amazing wine and food.
All-in-all, we highly recommend Black Tomato for an Argentina/Chile trip!
