One of our blinds arrived damaged and after much back and forward emails and despite having been told they see the problem they are refusing to replace the faulty head rail and just coming up with excuse after excuse will be doing a bank charge back as I didn't get what I paid for
Ordered a blind for 236cm length
Ordered a blind for 236cm length, a 232cm one arrives and won't sit in the brackets - this is their response:

With a roller blind, we do make a 3-4cm deduction from the width of the fabric, to allow for the brackets and mechanisms. You can find more about this information on our measurement guide but also on the ordering page itself. You can click the ‘i’ button on our website next to the recess / exact selection and this provides further information
Unfortunately, as your order is correct, and are made to measure, I am unable to accept a return and issue a refund. However in order to aid you in re-ordering, you can call us on 01924 481729 and we’d be delighted to deduct 50% from your replacement order, if you would like to order using a different measurement type.'
So in essence, it's my fault for ordering one thing and receiving another. Their solution? Give us more money and maybe we'll get it right next time.
If you don't want to be similarly ripped off and casually dismissed, don't buy from them.
Unbelievably poor customer service
Ordered an exact width roller blind. They cut 3 cms off - despite their “expert fitting guidelines” which states that they will not reduce the width on an exact measurement (as opposed to a recess one). I have ordered blinds online from many companies and have never experienced this before. They are refusing to accept that this is not my fault and clearly couldn’t care less about customer service. Well, they won’t stay in business for long when so many other companies really work hard at providing excellent service and see problems like this as opportunities to prove their worth. I am getting my bank to refund the £70 which they could have easily done without all the aggro. Just wish I’d checked them out beforehand. The reviews prove the point.
Awful company
Awful company. Sent us the wrong size blinds along with the incorrect amount compared to what we have ordered and now are refusing to refund them. Extremely unhelpful when emailed we have spend over £400 and they are absolutely awful!! NEVER use these people!
Overall very good
Overall very good! Ordered one shutter blind to try out before a larger commitment, fantastic quality.
Only a few days longer than the specified delivery time. No choice of delivery date they just turn up but easy to reschedule.
Doesn’t quite fit but that’s because of my ancient wonky house. There was a small scratch and paint was sent out to touch-up as requested.
Will be ordering more in an “outside recess” style to make up for my windows.
I recommend and am hoping for a good experience again on my next order
Defective products, not adequate customer service
Vertical blinds arrived first without the correct fixing brackets and second after I eventually got the correct fixing brackets and managed to put the rail up - it turned out that there was one missing clip in the sealed rail so I couldnt attach the last stripe which now leaves a gap between some of the stripes when fully closed. E-mailed them twice and they just kept saying that the item was correctly manufactured, but they just provided an extra stripe, which is not the case obviously. I did order the same type of blinds for other areas and none of them turned up with either an extra stripe or a gap between them... so disappointed.... lastly I wanted to complain, but they said they dont have a complain procedure so they asked me to wait for up to 24 hrs for a manager to contact me which never actually happened.
I have previously ordered blinds from Blinds Direct…
I have previously ordered blinds from this company with no problems. However recently ordered 2 wooden blinds the same size and one of the blinds is too large. Emailed the company and as requested took photos and emailed them back, was informed that a new blind would be sent. Weeeellll weeks later no blind we are stuck with a blind we can't use oh and the emails from the company are either misleading or they don't reply. Please don't waste your time trying to phone, I really don't think the phones are manned!
My husband has now said he will correspond with the company,and I have given verbal consent as I'm due surgery so this won't be a priority! Butttt here we go again, they are now ignoring him!
Before these issues I would have recommended Blinds direct but not anymore. Shocking customer service.
Not the most helpful customer service
We ordered a number of blinds and followed the instructions to the letter, width and height of window. All arrived and simple to fit.The only problem, there were more vertical individual blinds that fitted the rail and consequently most blinds overlapped.Contacted customer service (we gave up on the phone) who wanted photos and measurements by metal ruler(not the easiest of tasks). Not very helpful result and we say they messed up the order. Have asked how to remove links on the sealed unit but no answer has been forthcoming to date. We used this Company for all the blinds in our house and spent several hundred pounds.We would not recommend.
I ordered a blind and noticed an issue…
I ordered a blind and noticed an issue immediately after placing the order. I emailed them immediately and phoned them. They ignored all my emails and calls. When I manged to get through to the live chat less than 24 hours later. I was told I could not cancel or amend the order. The best is a 50% off the next blind. V unhappy and dissasatified with the service.
Cheap n Cheeful
Very snazzy website for a company that sells cheap n cheerful blinds. I got them up with no issues but the middle section doesn't turn. You've got the option of either directly open or closed which is a bit disappointing but then I only paid £100 for them so I guess I got what I paid for. Cheap n cheerful.
Clearly don't want my order
Want to place an order but I live in the USA so I cannot order online. Olivia's customer service is very poor, I'm sure he keeps closing my emails on purpose. 4 seperate emails I've had to send. All I want to do is order some blinds that only this company seems to do.

DISGUSTING SERVICE - Interior Goods Direct trading as Blinds Direct,
A CIRCUS OF A BUSINESS! SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE, SHOP ELSEWHERE!
Awful service by Interior Goods Direct trading as Blinds Direct. Blinds Direct are completely unorganised and mismanaged, customer service is none existent, you can't be put through to anybody, only wait for a call back and then they don't return your call.
Ordered window blinds from Blinds Direct, 2 different types, expected delivery as per the website details and was then contacted to say the material for one set was not in stock. They failed to send, or manufacture, the one set for which they did have the material - where is the sense in that!
Partial refund issued by Blinds Direct, which takes 2 days to be approved by 'Management' and then 5-7 days to refund by card!
We were then called to say that the material was in stock and they could make them, but we'd have to pay more for an express delivery to meet our fitting date, which was now only a few days away - we reluctantly agreed, but in reality, it would have been decent customer service to remove the express charge, given it's not through any wrong doing of our own, completely the fault of Blinds Direct who don't seem to know what they are doing, on what day, or what stock they have!
So, we made the payment again - the first payment refund had not yet been returned, so now we have effectively paid double for the products!
3 days later after us chasing several times by telephone, and paying for the second time with an increased cost, Blinds Direct email us to say that the material is actually not in stock, they can't make the window blinds and we now have to now ask 'Management' to approve another refund! Could you actually make that up!
Throughout all of this not 1 call returned from the 'Customer Services Staff at Blinds Direct' after numerous attempts to contact them and now awaiting 2 refunds for double the initial cost of the items - absolutely disgraceful.
Blinds Direct could not even organise a refund by Bank Transfer to ease the pain of having to wait 7 days for the refund and being twice out of pocket! What an absolute circus of an organisation!
The Management/Owners of Interior Goods Direct, trading as Blinds Direct, should be ashamed at the shambles of their business, and the complete disregard that their staff have for customers in providing any form of customer service, and just general decency - DISGUSTING SERVICE.

Avoid Blinds Direct At All Costs
This company sold me faulty products.
Not only that but it took me 49 days from the day I ordered them to be told by them after 34 separate email conversations (I counted across the 2 email accounts I had used in dealing with them) that I would be getting my refund.
In spite of all this I STILL haven't had my refund as agreed. It took 8 days for both Velux blinds (identical units on two windows of the same size) to show faults. The first one was pretty bad so they sent a replacement and then I experienced the same issues with the second one and decided I wasn't happy so I wanted a refund and sent back both faulty products and the unused replacement.
This company spent more time trying to convince me the products were good than accepting they were faulty. After some sound reasoning and plenty of documented proof from myself. THANK GOD I DID THAT. They accepted they were at fault and agreed the refund.
I ordered these on 23rd of November 2023 and it's the 12th of January. The refund is apparently being provided "pending approval" and should be in my account in the next 3 to 5 days. I had to open a Paypal dispute just to get the money back because I don't trust they will process the refund as agreed due to their astounding incompetence demonstrated thus far.
I also had a massive back and forth with Parcelforce who Blinds Direct booked the pickup of the faulty products with. It was nothing short of a nightmare. I really wish I just never bought anything from them.
AVOID THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE POORLY MANAGED AND POORLY STAFFED AND THEIR VELUX BLIND PRODUCTS ARE UNBELIEVABLY POOR.
Great product, helpful staff
Great product; kept informed as to delivery date; arrived on time in perfect condition; easy to put up following clear instructions - written and video; very polite and helpful when I had an issue, they were more than willing to resolve issue without me being out of pocket.
Have used before and will use again without hesitation.

Disappointed - read the small print
Great blinds. Really happy with the blind quality and customer service. They didn’t have the ones in wanted in stock and so upgraded at no extra charge. Communication a little slow but got there in the end. Mindful it is probably a busy period for them in the lead up to Christmas. HOWEVER the pelmets are far too long. I ordered recessed blinds and apparently this is normal procedure, which seems ludicrous as they are meant to fit in the recess and I obviously provided exact measurements. Apparently I have to cut the pelmet myself with a saw that I don’t own. Such a shame as was so happy with them 😔
The quality of the product was awful…
The quality of the product was awful and I requested a refund under the right to reject. They argued the refund for months, then accepted it and collected the blinds, then backtracked and refused the refund.
They have broken trading standards legislation and committed fraud.
Avoid at all costs.
Disappointing experience
Disappointing experience. Site offers 10-day delivery, ordered on 1st December. 15th December still no blinds. Rang to query, and it was explained that due to Christmas rush my order was not yet in production. Due to the fact there was no communication, I had no chance to order elsewhere.
I don’t think this company has got it together yet and I like many others who have left a review have been left disappointed. I can only concur with other comments that this company is best avoided and that I wish I had read reviews before placing an order.
No quibble as far as a refund goes, and an apology received. I quote:
“Please receive our sincere apologies for this delay caused by work overload at the factory. We acknowledged that this has not been a good experience for a customer such as yourself and we would not expect this to happen in the future. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and have now cancelled and refunded your order so you may seek alternatives elsewhere.”
They got measurements wrong and not rectify...
Wish we had read the reviews before we ordered. We sent specific measurements for a window and they sent the blind nearly double the drop length. Reason we need a specific length was to avoid it sitting on a heater and causing a fire risk. Their response... Do not roll the blind down so far. Thanks. Could just send the requested measurements. Do not use this company!
