We had a great experience with Blue Lanka! With only 1 day in Colombo, we wanted to make the most of our limited time and Yuresha helped us put together a day trip that focused on the highlights, plus a few custom additions we had found on our own that we wanted to work in. Our guide Chamila was knowledgeable, friendly, and flexible - we felt like the day was well coordinated, stayed on schedule, and hit everything we had hoped for. I hope to come back to Sri Lanka for a longer visit and when I do, I'll be reaching out to Blue Lanka to set it all up.

We had a fantastic tour of the beautiful island of Sri Lanka - personalised for us by Blue Lanka tours. We found the comapny was exceptional - our contact in the office, Yuresha, was brilliant. She listened to what we were looking for and booked hotels and attractions for us, adjusting promptly if we decided on changes. There is absolutely no hidden charges for visits such as the Yala national park, but also cultural events etc.. When we arrived our guide, Dilshan picked us up in a lovely air conditioned car and drove us around for the full 14 days. The roads and driving in Sri Lanka are "tricky" however we always felt safe with Dilshan competently driving us around. We made so many memories on this beautiful island - with so much to see. I am sure we will be going back! I would highly recommend Blue Lanka if you are considering a holiday in Sri Lanka

Our trip was perfectly organized: rather new minibus with good and prudent driver, very good guide, hotels carefully chosen, visits well planned.

I saw a recommendation for this company on a forum when I was thinking of returning to Sri Lanka after 30+ years.
I had a vague idea of where I wanted to revisit and sent an enquiry.

Hashini came straight back with all the information I needed. Recommendations for a tour that suited us ‘friendly smaller hotels, nature, history, wildlife’ .
I like that all the money stays in Sri Lanka and the company supports local charities.

We booked two weeks with a driver. This company know what they are doing. They took my vague plan and put together a well balanced itinerary that included SO MUCH more. All communication was great. I’m so happy we chose Blue Lanka. We would have missed so much without the little added trips and detours. They chose great hotels. Everything was anticipated and taken care of. Our driver Guyan was an absolute star. He was a complete gentleman and we felt very well looked after. He was relentlessly cheerful, helpful and full of information and ideas. We only had to mention wanting to see something or try a local fruit and he made sure it happened. And he was such a great driver. Skilful and safe.
Guyan was always there when we needed him but magically melted away to give us time alone. Always considerate and understanding.

We had gone on a family vacation to Sri Lanka for 7 days with my parents, me and my brother's family which included 3 kids also.
The trip was meticulously planned by Blue Lanka team with attention to details.
During the tour planning phase, the team was always helpful in coming up with suggestions on hotels, travel plan etc. as per our requirement.
Our tour guide, Manas, was very polite & enthusiastic and was always ready to go the extra mile to fulfil any of our request or requirement.

Over these 11 days, Shan became more than just our guide — he truly felt like part of our family. We are equally grateful to Hashini, who planned and coordinated our trip. We booked a 17-day tour directly from Germany (without an additional travel agency) with Blue Lanka Tours over Christmas. The service and communication were flawless. After our initial inquiry, Hashini contacted us very quickly and put together a tour tailored to our wishes. We had an absolutely wonderful tour of Sri Lanka that was truly beyond our expectations. Our guide Namal was extremely knowledgeable about the country, its history, culture, and day-to-day life, and he explained everything in great detail, which really enriched our experience. The tour is thoughtfully sectioned with a great mix of hikes like Little Adam’s Peak, village tours in Hiriwadunna, safaris in Yala, and beach time in Tangalle – ideal for our energetic children who love walks over long drives. Pacing for visits like Sigiriya Rock, Dambulla Caves, and Ella’s Nine Arch Bridge keeps everyone engaged without exhaustion. It’s not always easy traveling with young kids, but they’ve made it seem effortless.

Flexible and Responsive
They take our feedback easily and adapt on the spot – providing more opportunities for the kids to play and have fun on the road instead of short hikes, like extra time at parks such as Gregory Lake. We also asked for picks of authentic places for meal suggestions, and that was well addressed as we like spicy food and avoid tourist crowds – Prakash has guided us to hidden gems with flavorful local dishes. Even with train rides and weather changes, adjustments have been quick and family-focused.
