Kabine klein,sauber alles tiptop. Sehr gutes Essen und freundlicher Kellner.
Zweite tagsüber von Lesbos nach Ikaria, 10Std. 4.9.24
An Deck schmutzig, es riecht überall nach Diesel mit schwarzen Wolken aus dem Schornstein. (War bei der ersten Fahrt auch so).
Unter Deck keine Möglichkeit,sich hinzulegen bei Seekrankheit meiner Begleitung. Ein Crewmitglied scheucht einen unfreundlich auf:"Schlafen können Sie später".Trotz Hinweis auf besagte Seekrankheit. (Dieselgestank ist dem Befinden nicht gerade dienlich). Den Hinweis , dass ich Arzt bin habe ich mir geschenkt. Das hätte ihn nicht interessiert. Ihm ging es um die Durchsetzung irgendwelcher Vorschriften.

Coming from Athens was actually very nice, friendly and helpful staff to welcome us on.
However the entry to the return trip was diabolical - the rudeness of the older lady scanning the tickets at Myli was the reason.
Struggled to understand what I was saying (given her very poor English) but I was just trying to be polite and didn’t want her to scan too early as my daughter wasn’t standing with me
Then started carrying on to another staff member about me thinking I couldn’t understand

Food poisoning from the ship pizza
I ate a piece of pizza (skepasti) and i got food poisoning, there where 3 pieces left. It was definitely from that cause i didnt have anything else. When i wrote them (it was really hard to find the contact) their answer was "we didnt have any other complaint"... Like if from the 2 other people everyone would make the effort to contact them...
Most disgusting travel experience…
Most disgusting travel experience anywhere I have ever traveled. How are they still in business?. Most crew are men who refuse to answer even simple polite questions, they point and scream. No assistance to any inquiry. They could not be Greek, as we found everyone but the crews of ANY Blue Star Ferry to be delightful, kind and very respectful, a real pleasure to talk too. I pray a competitor will bankrupt their disgusting company crew with it, worthless group of antisocial animals who hate their job. We thought a ferry trip would be calm and relaxing 😱, fly, don't help this dog of a company stay in business.

I have been watching the ferries come in and out of Paros this week.
Every ship is putting more pollution into the atmosphere in 10 minutes than all the cars on the island would do in a year.
What gives them the right to operate such filthy engines on their ships in such a beautiful area?
Totally unreliable
Should have read reviews prior to choosing. Did have a good experience joining my Greek family in crossing to Poros. Returning was quite an unpleasant journey. First they gave me wrong information as to where to wait. Missed the first ferry with online bought ticket. The help call line was not at all helpful and the local office was closed. The next ferry was out of commission. Then I bought another ticket and that ferry was 1 hour 15 min late to arrive. I had to change my flight. Fortunately I incurred no extra fee but had to spend a night in Athens . A lot of unhappy passengers. The ferry was crowded. I would advise on not depending on timing for connections same day even if given extra time. They are very unreliable. I also would advise against buying the ticket online. The extra fee is unjustified and you may loose the money anyway.

Hubo rachas de viento y el ferry que…
Hubo rachas de viento y el ferry que teníamos no podía salir. Nos enviaron un mensaje de texto la noche de antes para avisarnos de la cancelacion.
El día de salida llamamos y nos dijeron que fuéramos y que intentarían reubicarnos en otro ferry más grande, el cual nos llevó al destino sin problema.
Bien por la empresa por la rápida reacción en el temporal. Un 10! Salió y llego a tiempo

They denied entrance to a special needs person and they threw him in the port waters and left him to drown. Please, for your own safety choose a different company.

If you want to travel with safety but also with respect, just choose another company. Simple as that! This company is unsafe for many reasons and they treat you so disrespectful that can ruin your whole trip. It's not just that they luck of social skills. They are really deadly disrespectful.
Be Very Careful
On the 5th of September 2023 a man with special needs boarded the ship "Blue Horizon"...
Minutes later he was seen exiting the ship to go buy something. When he returned he was pushed and hit by the crew because he was late and he was denied entrance.
He was punched and pushed under the ship and into the sea where he was left to drawn and die alone and without any help.
The crew didn't proceed to help him and the ship went on to continue on its' journey like nothing had happened.
They tried to cover it up as an accident but unfortunately for them the incident was recorded on video by many.

Do NOT be late
Be very careful booking with this company. Even if you have a ticket you run the risk of getting thrown overboard and being left for dead. They are known for literally throwing people off the boat for being late. Even before the shameless murdering of innocent travelers, their queing/seating system is non existent and they always run late.
