I bought a blueti ac50b and it's taking forever to charge up with the solar panel am I doing something wrong

I recently purchased a Power Station from Bluetti UK which was listed as being 'NEW', however on receipt of the unit, I found that the box was not sealed, the display did not have a protective film over it and looked liked it had been wiped with a damp cloth. In addition, the unit was covered in finger marks, (I have photographs to illustrate my comments). I don't think you need to be an expert to establish this unit was not 'NEW' as advertised.

I run an inspection company and requested my colleagues to exam the unit and in their opinion, they come to the same conclusion that the item was not 'NEW' and possibly refurbished.

On three separate occasions I attempted to contact the company in an effort to resolve the issue and see if they could offer an explanation. On each occasion there was no response which leaves you to believe they knew full well what they had done.

If you are considering a Power Station, think long and hard before purchasing from this company as they have zero customer care and it looks like they may be scamming people to the effect of charging for 'NEW' items, but actually selling refurbished items. Most companies that are seriously concerned about customer care will respond and offer corrective action, sadly not this company.

It's your choice which Power Station you purchase and from where, but I would urge you to think of the consequences of purchasing an item that cost several hundreds of pounds only to find out later you have been duped! There are other far more reputable companies selling these items and it's worth considering them so that you don't fall into the same problems I encountered.

As a company, especially in the inspection business, we are considering bring this issue to the attention of Trading Standards, simply because we cannot allow companies like this get away with this type of malpractice.

Bought a AC200L and solar panel for off grid motorhoming, worked spot on and did everything we needed. Expanded system with a B500k and B300k connected to an AC 300 which I use in home bar to run cooler and fridges via some solar panels on roof, works great

I'm still waiting for the delivery, it's weeks late and they don't respond to my emails. A terrible company to deal with. The so called tracking information is useless. I would not recommend this company at all. If I could give zero stars I would. Customer service is non existent!

Bluetti customer service is 10/10 when I old powerstation stopped working they took it back fast and sorted it and kept me well informed great products and great service too

This is a game changer for us when travelling around in our motorhome. We now know that we have at least three days off grid capability and now we have bought the solar panels, longer. Great quality product, very portable, and coupled with the charger 1 and solar panel, extremely useful.

I received a Bluetti AC500 with b300k battery. The 150 to 90 cable was supposed to be included in the bundle, but they had sent out the 90 to 90 battery connector instead. This meant that the whole bundle would not work.

I thought it would be a fairly easily resolved issue but contact with them was horrendous. I had made a second order from bluetti and told them this when I contacted them. They then got stuck on this and refused to accept that they had sent the incorrect cable with the bundle. They eventually accepted the mistake after numerous messages and close up photos.
Even this wasn't enough for them to send out the cable I had paid for.
They finally agreed to send the correct cable (not an issue but they should have sent the correct one out at the same time), but only after they had recieved the cable from me, "reviewed" the cable (?) and processed the whole matter. A set of processes which will take who knows how long.
So I can't comment on the performance of the generator or batteries - I'm just sitting looking at the useless ornament I paid a lot of money for until I get the correct cable sent out to me in several weeks.
I won't be buying from bluetti again. If anything goes wrong, you're in for a nightmare.

I purchased a Bluetii AC200MAX in June 2024 to be used as the power station for my campervan build, all the power in and out of my build was designed around this power station.

The unit then failed in May 2026. I contacted the Bluetti support team to get the unit repaired under warranty, the unit was returned and found to be faulty and could not be repaired. At this point they offered me the AC200L as a warranty replacement.

One of the main differences between my previous unit and the AC200L is the DC power output, the AC200MAX has a 12V 30Amp output and the AC200L has a 48V 20Amp output.

For me to be able to use the new unit for my campervan, I would require a Bluetti D40 to step the voltage down from 48V to 12V.......... which would cost me another £150.

Considering my original bill was £1280, and now they want me to pay another £150 because they cannot provide a true like-for-like replacement, I feel this is extremely unfair.

They did offer me a pathetic 8% discount on this, but that is in no way suitable, considering it is them who are unable to fulfil the warranty obligations.

I should also add, I am the national service manager for a large PLC, and there is no way I would ever expect this of a customer.

EDIT: The day after writing this review (10th June) the support team got back in touch saying they would provide the D40 for me to have the replacement unit up and running again, as near to the set up I hade before......... And guess what, I am still waiting. Since then they have used an excuse of no stock (I have been on their website and it is in stock, i could order one right now). I mentioned this to them, and the have not replied again, I haven't heard back from them in over a week.

They said they were trying to work on a resolution and would contact me when they have found one........ It is now the 26th of June 2026, this has been going on since first contact, the 8th of May 2026.
