My experience was unfortunately disappointing. I felt that communication could have been more transparent throughout the process. After making a deposit, I did not receive the expected product, which was frustrating. I hope the company improves its service and follow-through in the future. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

I contracted with Bob’s Containers for a container home DIY kit totaling $124,725. I have paid $55,000 so far, and after more than a year, I have not received the product — nor any verifiable evidence that work is underway. Communication has frequently gone silent for months, and despite many attempts, I cannot get clear answers about delivery or progress. It's now been over 8 months since they have communicated with us. I am now pursuing legal action to attempt to recover the money for the undelivered product. This has been an incredibly stressful and expensive experience, and I would strongly discourage others from proceeding with them.

We moved a load for this company back in January 2025, they never paid the $3,200.

They just take your money and lead you on. Half money down for deposit- poof gone with no product ever delivered. But they sure will lead you on.

We do NOT recommend Bob's Containers for any project. We were asked by a client to use them for a project and found everything from the quoting to completion to be very sub-par. In 20 years of recreation equipment sales, this is the only project I have had to get an attorney involved with. We were told the production schedule would be 6-months and 50% down payment was needed (not totally unusual) and 50% prior to shipping. At 6 months, they told us the container was ready to ship, and the final 50% down payment was needed, so we provided a check. It took an additional 6-months to have our project ship, and the upgraded fixtures we purchased, were not included. Never could get an explanation on what was taking so long. We worked with the owner who, after being told it could be another 2-months to get the fixtures exchanged, accepted the existing fixtures. When we provided a request for the price difference, we were told that it sounded reasonable and then they went silent. Had to hire an attorney for a payment demand, which went unanswered. On a $60,000 project, Robert decided it was better not refund our $3,500. Ironically, we had two potential projects that will not be doing to Bob's Containers. Well played Robert, way to give up dollars for pennies. In 20 years, this is the only company we have ever worked with that we have suggested someone not use for a project. I would avoid working with them in any case and will talk to our other nationwide counterparts to never use them. Next stop, BBB!!

Our company was contracted out to do some repairs to a container home in October of 2024. It is now the end of March 2025 and we have yet to receive payment. Bob's Containers was adamant that we got the work done ASAP, and we did. Since the work has been completed, it has been impossible to get answers as to why our invoice has gone unpaid. We've left numerous voicemails and emails, only to have everything go unanswered. We are never able to speak with anyone who can explain why this is happening. Come to find out, we are not the only contractors to deal with this. Their company has a history of poor communication, poor response time, and failure to pay. If you are a potential subcontractor who is planning on doing business with Bob's Containers, I HIGHLY recommend you walk away.

Long story short. I paid in full (2 1/2 years ago). Then decided to cancel 6 weeks after I paid- no work had been done. The container was not even purchased. I was told it was impossible. They said they would sell it and give me my money back. They sold it and kept my money. 2 1/2 years later I have a judgment against them. We are now working with a Court-appointed receiver to try and get some money back. This company is very crooked. I fully expect them to declare bankruptcy as I am not the only one with a judgment against them. We got a fraud judgment against them. So in the case of bankruptcy we should still get some money back. Buyer Beware!

Avoid this company at all costs. Working with them was a nightmare, costing us over $5,000 in additional expenses due to their mistakes. From the start, there were plumbing issues—like no P-trap—which caused a sewer smell in our container for months. Even though the container was already on a foundation, they refused to help address the issue. Instead, they blamed us and made us repeatedly adjust our plumbing, only to later admit that their installation was the problem.

On top of that, they installed the bathroom backwards—an error that’s hard to fathom. We also ordered an all-black container, but they delivered it with white doors. When we complained, they sent someone out to paint them black, but he brought his girlfriend and spent the night in our container! Completely unprofessional.

The project was riddled with delays and misrepresentations. This company’s lack of accountability and poor service makes it clear they’re not reputable. There are much better options out there—choose a company that stands behind their work and treats customers with respect.

I'd like to preface this by saying I really wish we had seen these negative reviews on here before giving them 50k to build us a bathroom container that was two months late, not built to code, missing multiple items and features we paid for, and then getting jerked around on covering those costs. So much of our experience mirrors theirs.

It's important to state the facts free of emotion and this is a very condensed version of our experience with Bob's.

We ordered this unit the end of March '24 with a delivery date no later 90 days after. As soon as we completed the onboarding call, things started to go wrong. Their support team wouldn't respond to emails or would take significant time to do so. They took months to even start building our unit, let alone finishing it. This cost of tens of thousands of dollars in lost revenue due to us not being able to open our beer garden on time.

What we received after weeks and weeks of constantly calling and emailing (because they wouldn't respond unless you reached out multiple times a day) was a unit that required thousands of dollars on our part to get up to code and install the missing pieces.

Bob and his team consistently broke promises and attempted to change the deal. Things that were included on our initial invoice became "change orders" at random. Three separate delivery deadlines were missed. When we asked why the missing items weren't installed they said it was because they forgot or we rushed them (on a unit that was well past the deadline.)

I could write a novel going point by point and include our significant correspondence, but as Bob said to me when I asked him to honor his sales contract, "I'm done here. I have less time than you."

As a note, there's currently a cease and desist against them from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for operating without a license too.

We had a custom container bar built for our event space, and it's the highlight of the venue! The beer taps are a huge hit with our guests, and the setup looks so sleek and professional. It adds a unique touch to the space that people really love. We've been booked solid since we installed it, and I think a big part of that is the container bar. 10/10 would recommend!

Our container home has been such a great addition to our backyard. We had it built as a small guest house for visitors, and everyone who's stayed in it loves the space. We just got a container bar from Bob's Containers for our outdoor venue, and it's been awesome! The bar looks super cool and works great. It came with everything we needed to serve our guests, like lots of storage and a great layout. We got to customize it to fit our brand, and it turned out perfect. The folks at Bob's were super helpful and made the whole process easy, from start to finish. Our customers love the new bar, and it's quickly become the star of our venue. I’m a real estate developer and I used bobs to build some backyard rental to use as airbnb money. They cash flow and my equity in my land rose so I’m happy 🖤

Bobs got it done and I’m happy. They use software a lot to update so if you call you won’t get them on phone quickly but they respond within a day

Delivery was a bit scary but they got creative on install with a forklift and some wheels

Getting a container restroom from Bob's Containers was one of the best things we done for our campground in Louisiana. That unit is built tough and easy to keep clean. Our guests love it, and say it's real nice. The install was quick, and the folks at Bob's was real helpful. We already hearing good things from our campers, and we're real happy with it too.
