Book Publishing Pros Reviews

I contacted the Book Publishing Pros in late November, and by December 1st, 2025, I decided to join up with them on my latest book.
My agent was Gabriel B. At first, he seemed knowledgeable and remained friendly throughout the process. I asked him how long it would take to get the book published on Amazon. I was told it would take about 5-7 weeks. Needless to say, after pushing him, it took almost 10 weeks. It often seemed like he was overworked with other clients.
I had to admit that I was pleased with the book cover and the job they did. However, I had to correct the spelling of a few names that had been changed during the back-cover formatting.
When I was reviewing the first draft of my manuscript, several dates in the first 5 chapters were changed from US to UK formats. The mistakes persisted as I noticed other edits to my original manuscript. I sent a list of 15 items that needed correction back in the same order I had them. This process took 5 weeks to correct. I even had to correct several items that were not corrected on what they called the final edited and formatted proof.
After 8 weeks of discussing my book (mostly on email), I received 4 pages of promotional pictures. The name of my book was spelled incorrectly on 2 of them. My last name was misspelled on 2. Then, my last name on 2 of the others was different from that on the other 2. How could this happen?
I was not prepared for the pressure-based, sometimes additional requests to purchase services not explained in the original agreement.
They are:
1. The original marketing plan cost $2,500; it was reduced to $1,500 for less coverage, and then to an $800 plan for a minimum package.
2. Expanded word formatting at $625
3. We now add the offer for a website plan to promote your book for $1,500 and place you on their top sellers list.
4. No offer of proof of promotion was offered unless you ordered the Gold Package at $1,500. This includes Basic Social Media Growth Strategy (Organic Engagement) and Marketing Email Marketing Campaign (Targeted Readers & Newsletter Inclusion), Press Release (150+ News Platforms), Amazon Optimization, Amazon Author Central, Book Description & Category Optimization, and A+ Content (Enhanced Book Listing Visuals).
5. Then I had to purchase 3 ISBN numbers at a cost of $125 each. (You can buy them online for less than $25 each. Then they added the cost for UPC codes for 2 books at $75 each, which you had to pay to release your book.
6. The last offer (at the last minute) was a quote for $500 to add an additional DRM cost of $500. They claimed that this was new and that the laws had been changed.
7. Total possible cost if you purchased all the requested options to promote your book on Amazon would have been $7,150.
• Please go into this or any other company's pitch with your eyes wide open.

This company is only out to take your money. I spent $2000 and Amy grey was the person that made all kinds of promises about promoting my book. After 4 months not one sale. She lied and took my money. Don’t be gullible like I was.

I needed a team that could help me write, publish and promote my self-help book and Book Publishing Pros delivered on all fronts. Their content writers were incredible, the design team nailed my vision and the marketing results were fantastic. This is more than a service, it's a partnership for success.

Book Publishing Pros are so amazing!!!
They are organized, extremely helpful and really good out of their way to help get your book published.
I highly recommend them!!!

The service was good. The step-by-step service was pleasant.

My experience with this company has been terrible. I was promised two books in circa 4-6 weeks last year. The proof copies were submitted in 'word' with very few amendments. One of the covers I submitted came back with errors, which I am still trying to sort out myself. They promised 'look inside' feature on the Amazon marketplace, which I am still trying to resolve for one of the books. They also submitted the wrong categories for the books, which I am also still chasing with IngramSpark and Amazon.

It is my pleasure to write a recommendation for this Publishing Group. I have had a fantastic time and I truly appreciate the clear communication I receive from Emma Felix. She is an outstanding professional and smart! She knows her business and she is savvy. I highly recommend anyone wishing to publish their work to use this group, specifically Emma Felix.

Antonio was so helpful during what was a stressful time trying to get my book published. He was s kind, patient and helped in a practical way. I am not very technically proficient, and so Antonio and his team's help was invaluable.
Thank you.

The publishing team at Book Publishing Pros exceeded my expectations. Their attention to detail an commitment to quality resulted in a book I am incredibly proud of.

I was struggling with marketing my book until I found Book Publishing Pros. Their team was professional, knowledgeable, and helped me achieve outstanding results.

I love and admire Amazon publishing team. They have taken sincere care of my book as a first time author and provided me a stress free involvement process. The entire team are patient, creative, and thorough with bringing my manuscript and art style to life. Cannot wait to submit my second manuscript.

Book Publishing Pros have been supporting me to publish my latest book. They have provded a great service and helped me every step of the way. I am particularly grateful to Cheryl Ann (my allocated Project Manager) who has been fabulous at advising and encouraging me on my journey. Would definitely use the service again.

Matthew Evans was polite, informative and extremely good at making me feel at ease.
I was rather hesitant, never having done this before, but he allayed my fears and made me feel this was in fact do-able.
Matthew worked well when I questioned him and put everything into simple terms when I had any questions.
A positive experience all round and I look forward to my next baby steps.

I am new to the book and publishing world. Conard Martin and Team were amazing! They got me through days I was doubting the process and delivered the most astounding results and outcome I could have ever imagined. The completion of my edits happened to fall on my mother's birthday 4/25/24.

My experience of chatting to Robert made me feel, that I can publish my book, which has been hard to image.

Rick is very friendly, patient and knowledgeable about this topic. He helped me understand how the process works. I’m less intimidated about it than before, which is great.

It took almost a month before we signed up because of other issues. I’m glad we signed up with Rick because he never stopped responding to our many questions.

I'm thrilled with the results Book Publishing Pros delivered! Their attention to detail and commitment to excellence are second to none.

Whilst I was surprised to receive the Chat offering I have to say the advice given by Robert was extremely helpful. Seemed concerned about my needs offering professional but "easy English" explanations. Easy to talk to.

I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge Mr. Harvey West, Senior Project Manager with Book Publishing Pros, and his publishing team for their outstanding work and assistance in the creation and development of my FIFTH book with Amazon Publishing.
I have had the honor and good fortune to work with Harvey West in the development of each of my five books and he has always been outstanding, professional, and truly dedicated to making sure that all of my manuscripts were developed into professionally designed and formatted creations.
Although each project has not been developed without temporary problems, glitches, hitches, or minor issues, Harvey West and his professional team have always responded quickly to correct the concern.
And I must admit that I have not always been easy to work with, at times.
However, I must also confess that it has always been a joy and a pleasure to work with Mr. Harvey West. And I am truly thankful and honestly very grateful that Harvey was assigned to each of my five submissions. I could not have asked for a more dedicated and devoted project manager to assist with the success of my books. I will always request Harvey West in the future.
Sincerely,
Michael B. Kaminski
