It's a very cool site for authors, you can add your content in different formats and not be afraid that a new subscriber won't be able to find something. Withdrawals are daily, which is very suitable for me. I'm subscribed to other authors, I often watch content from the app, everything is implemented very conveniently ❤️

Love boosty with all my heart, awesome platform. I've been using it as an author for 2 years now. Automatic payouts every day on any bank-card, payments from your audience can be accepted from anywhere in the world, and tons of features to monetize every content in so many ways!

I see a lot of negative reviews here (which is surprising to me), and I can clarify where some of them come from. I will tell you from my perspective (as an author) what problems you may encounter if you decide to earn money here. And how to avoid them (which is very simple).

In short: if you’re a genuine creator with real content — on Boosty or elsewhere — and your content does not violate the service rules, then be sure, you won’t have any issues with withdrawals or whatsoever. I guarantee it.

Problems happen when an account has no content, no subscribers, and no clear source of audience. And suddenly $100, $500, $1,000, etc. arrive there, lol ... In those cases, Boosty may temporarily hold withdrawals (of course) as a standard security measure to protect both the platform and its users. And just ask you a couple of questions to make sure you're not a scammer, money launderer, or some other unknown entity. It's obvious why this is necessary.

Almost all negative reviews from "authors" come from people trying to use Boosty as a wallet or a money-transfer service — which it isn’t. Boosty is created for monetizing content, either on the platform itself or when the source of payments is transparent.

If it’s clear why people are paying you and for what content, everything works smoothly. So, don't pay attention to the negativity, it's completely unjustified. Boosty is a top-notch service, and decent authors never have any problems. Myself and hundreds of thousands of other authors are proof of that. So feel free to use it, folks, and good luck!

Обратился в поддержку Boosty из-за задержки выплаты. Вначале ответили, что вопрос на проверке. Но потом аккаунт заблокировали без предупреждения и чёткого объяснения причин. Несколько раз просил конкретику — что именно нарушил, но получал лишь шаблонные ответы с ссылкой на пункт 2.1 правил, без деталей. На просьбы объяснить блокировку без предупреждения и дать шанс исправить — тишина. Поддержка не помогает разобраться, а просто кидает отписки.

My credit card flagged a payment through this as a fraud. I quickly contacted them to correct it and say it was a real charge (I was paying an artist). A month later, Boosty has banned my account and took the money from the artist even though my credit card has the charge back on it. AVOID USING THIS WEBSITE I am absolutely gutted they took the money from the artist for a complete mistake that was quickly fixed. So far they are not fixing it even though they have my money again.

I had an issue with this website on February 15th, 2025. I accidentally sent $60 instead of $30 to an artist, since the first attempt said it wasn't sent through, so I tried again. The artist was very nice and delivered the work. However, they sent the $30 back to me as a donation, so I waited a couple days for it to go through. It never did so I contacted support, who said I had to wait 90 days for them to 'process the case'. Considering the other reviews, I'm worried I won't get anything back, but I'll have to see in the few weeks I have left.

Absolute joke and scam, following an author and they decided to block the account for a ToS violation. I am less than a week into a month subscription. I request a refund and know for a fact the author hasnt had the money from boisty and boosty say no refunds, so they are stealing money.

Long story short they will let an account get a load of sign ups and then block the account and keep the money to themselves. Thieves. Thats what they are

They will charge you for no reason and tell you they don't see any issue. Even though you share all the details. Scammers

Scam company.

Locked me out of my account and held the money people had used to sub.

For some unexplained reason they stopped sending me money. I tried to get into contact with them but they never responded, for 2 weeks they didn't say anything.
I then contacted their parent company that literally said there was nothing they could do.

So then I got my community to spam them with requests, and I got suspended for 90 days.

Money stuck in limbo. I had sent the money to my friend through boosty, she is unable to withdraw the money and I cannot refund the money. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE

I've been using Boosty to subscribe to my favorite artists from Russia ever since Paypal stopped accepting payments to their country. I never had a problem until 2 days ago. I won't be using that site anymore, and I've deleted my account. I paid for a subscription to an artist, JoonKorner, and the site auto-charged me a bunch of times and racked my bank account up to $285. Support refuses to refund me. They claim it's my fault that it happened because, supposedly, when you go to make a payment, it clearly states that "auto renewal" is used. It does not state this, as far as I am aware. Thankfully, when I went up to my bank and told them what had happened, they took off all the service charges from the "auto renewals" Boosty did to me, which brought what I owe the bank down to $40. But still, I cannot use Boosty anymore and feel safe, so I've removed all my payment methods and asked for my account to be deleted. It sucks because a lot of my favorite artists use that site, but I can't afford for this to keep happening.

This is VERY DISTURBING one of my subscribers just notice that image gallery I provide as a content contains VIRUS I downloaded this file I MADE and there is VIRUS attached to this RAR file please be very cautious while using this site I'm definitely terminating cooperation with this site in next two days.

My account was blocked, and the service did not inform me in any way.

Of course my subscription was not cancelled, it continued to be drawn.

I would not recommend this service even to people I severely disliked, stay far away.

Accidentally triggered a refund on a purchase I made to a creator on Boosty.to. I don’t think the refund ever was processed as I tried to cancel it, but they proceeded to delete my account and block me from signing in: now I cannot support the creator I was funding, nor can I get ahold of their works through this site.

I tried to contact support, but they would provide as few details as possible and refused to remove the block on my account. there are no instructions on the site on how to recover your access.

In short, this is a very anti-consumer website and is bad for both creators and customers. DO NOT USE THIS SITE. One bugged payment, and you lose all access to your purchases permanently. Worst case scenario, go to Subscribe Star or, god forbid, Patreon
