BORTHWICK DECORATORS LTD Reviews

We had an excellent experience with Borthwick. Very good workmanship and thorough in preperation and execution. Very pleasant and helpful to deal with from the senior staff to operatives on site.

My in-laws and I have two adjoining houses in Fife only a few metres from the sea wall. Due to the location, the weather takes its toll on the exterior paintwork. Borthwick decorators repainted the outside of both houses and did a fantastic job. They were extremely diligent and prepared the surfaces properly. A number of our neighbours saw the work going on and asked us for details of our decorators, so impressed were they by the standard of work. Based on our experience, I have requested a quotation for the redecoration of our house in London.

We approached David and his team with a very large exterior painting job, and they helped with options for type of paint and best approach. They booked it into the schedule, turned up when we expected and completed the work to a high standard and with no problems. Very good to do business with and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Excellent standard of work, very clean and tidy, turn up as planned and take the amount of time they say they will take. Staff very pleasant

Used Borthwick Decorators recently for a large project and the team more than delivered for me. From start to finish the team were fast paced, professional and a real focus on attention to detail. Keep up the great work Borthwick Decorators!

Absolutely fantastic service from Borthwick Decorators, from the initial enquiry to completion of work. Your team are a credit, could not be nicer and worked to a very high and tidy standard, thank you again amazing service.

Would recommend this company every time. The painters showed great attention to detail and I’m delighted with the work which has been done to a high standard.

Mariuz arrived promptly, did a very good job, cleared up extremely well after his visit and was very pleasant and courteous.

Great job done -very clean and tidy job.
Completed the work( external painting of large house) in 3days.
Exceeded any expectations and would highly recommend them and will have them back if we need any other painting /decorating done.

I have had work completed by this company on several occasions. I can honestly say that they work hard to ensure that everything is perfect before they finish the job. Their staff are skilled and hard working.
When calling the office, Annemarie and Daria are friendly and very helpful.
I cannot praise this company too highly. They are fantastic.
I thoroughly recommend them and will continue to use them in the future.

Terrific service from the painters. The paintwork is immaculate. Polite and respectful trades people. Good to see young apprentices serving their time too!

Have used Borthwicks for a number of jobs, both commercial and residential. Reliable tradesmen and a really professional job every time.

Borthwick Decorators have just completed a full exterior paint job on our house, walls, windows, gutters and chimneys. The work was executed by skilled tradesman who delivered a high quality finish. They completed the project without interruption, always started at 830am, were polite and always left a tidy site in the evening.
Their vans and workwear were all company branded which supports the professionalism of the organisation. I would have no hesitation in recommending.

The Borthwick team, headed up by Kamil decorated six rooms for us recently, including repainting our hand painted kitchen and utility units. The quality of the work is outstanding, Kamil in particular took great care in painting our kitchen units and the finish is really excellent. I’m very glad that we took David’s advice and used Tikkurila paint for this part of the job as the units look better now than they did when first installed by Murray & Murray. Colour matching with our chosen Farrow and Ball colours was seamless. The team, Rab, Adam and Kamil are very professional, tidy and courteous and we are so pleased with the finish in all six rooms

The Borthwick team did a great job - they were expert, reliable, efficient, and made no mess! Really pleased with both decorating jobs in our living room and bedroom. Not the cheapest quote but well worth the money.

Excellent job . I cannot recommend this company high enough. Delivered a fantastic finish and were clean and tidy . Thanks again.

We were very pleased with the job the team did on our exterior painting. The sash windows and doors now look as good as new. The team were very polite and professional and tidied up neatly afterwards. We’re very happy to recommend Borthwick Decorators!

Very professional and competent painters and decorators. I’m very pleased with their work and I intend to use this company again. I thoroughly recommend them to anyone considering using painters and decorators.

Borthwick Decorators carried out an excellent job on exterior joinery and painting on my home. Communication was excellent before and during the job. Paul and his team were polite and friendly while carrying out the exterior painting work. I would certainly recommend this company for anyone requiring peace of mind that you are dealing with a reputable and professional business.

Borthwick Decorators recently redecorated our ornate ceiling- Kamil and Nicholas did an excellent job, working at extreme heights and navigating themselves around a very big old building- the end result is beautiful.
David came out to do quality checks and I found Borthwick to be extremely professional , communication was excellent and we would definitely use them again.
