Breakthrough Maths (Grinds) Reviews

Fantastic free Easter course. Very good reminder on 5th year subjects. As I haven't learned proofs properly yet, I learned a bit but didn't fully understand. Diarmuid was great at teaching and answering the questions

Breakthrough Maths are an absolute Godsend!! Not only do they send you the recordings of their classes so the kids can go back over them for revision purposes but also they put on three extra classes for Easter Junior Cycle this week at no extra charge and have now sent recordings of those, they also did a Masterclass in Algebra recently, again no extra charge🙏 They really do all they can to simplify Maths for the kids and give them great tips, I would highly recommend them 🙂

Had leaving and Junior cert lads .
They both found it fantastic and so helpful , Was always so well explained.
Would highly recommend these at every level and such lovely people to communicate yet . Definitely the best 10/10 stars

It taught me thoroughly how to do topics in maths I struggle with and it gave me a boost making me believe that I am capable of doing maths well

Well explained topics and made Maths more enjoyable. The tutor was very professional.

Very helpful teachers, interactive classes kept my son focused

I can't praise TJ and Diarmuid enough. My daughter started doing the grinds last Oct for her Leaving Cert ..From the very beginning she found their instruction, delivery and support excellent ..they explained topics and concepts in a way she could relate to ..thus relieving her stress. She found the short Easter Course also brilliant and well worth doing. She feels in control and more confident now as a result ...Thanks to Breakthrough Maths.

TJ and his competent team were extremely helpful and generous in their time and teaching to help students maximize their potential in their up coming exams giving great advice and tips for study, helping boost their confidence and encouraging them to continue to try do their best.

Easy to access the class, the teacher was patient and explained things clearly and took questions very well. My daughter got a lot out of the lessons.

Very helpful & generous with their time especially putting on the Easter revision course & for free. They genuinely want students to do well in their exams. If you’re looking for maths grinds I would highly recommend.

We’ve had a great experience with Breakthrough Maths Junior Cycle grinds. The classes are really well structured and easy to follow, and the recorded lessons are a huge bonus for revision.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Breakthrough Maths for anyone looking for extra help with Junior Cycle Maths.

Covered topics people find difficult, very open to answering all the questions people ask.

Great free easter course,. Tutor (Ruth) was friendly, engaging and easy to follow. The guidelines on what is essential" to know" was very useful, along with examples of exam style questions. Thank you so much, this was a great help

Great experience with Breakthrough Maths. My son is learning a lot, gaining confidence, and really enjoys the classes. Highly recommend!

My daughter is very shy, tends to not speak up in class or ask questions so finds these lessons brilliant!! She feels she can ask because she’s really anonymous on these grinds. The fact you can go in and rewatch grinds on a particular section is also a god send. She says Eoin is very good and explains things well!! These grinds are definitely making her feel more confident in maths and I absolutely recommend them!!
Fair play to all, I will definitely be using them for my son when the time comes!

Eoin the Math teacher for the Junior cycle is very dedicated and committed, Breakthroughmath has definitely helped my child to get confident in the subject, and went from small score in normal level to higher score in higher math. Thanks again!

My daughter has been attending classes over a month now. She is thriving and finding the classes so helpful. Tutor is amazing. He makes Maths fun.
I would highly recommend.

We have had an incredibly positive experience with Breakthrough Maths, and in particular with Ruth.

After trying several different tuition supports, we were losing hope however the difference has been remarkable!!
Ruth’s teaching style is very engaging, warm, and consistently encouraging.

We have witnessed a significant shift in our child not only in maths ability, but in overall attitude to maths. Maths Anxiety has seriously reduced, engagement has increased!

Would highly recommend Breakthrough Maths — for supportive, effective maths tuition.

Very convenient service as all online. Great value for money. Great curriculum with lots of revision of topics for children. Lots of confidence and skills gained since she started with breakthrough maths. She really likes her weekly tutor. Does all 4 classes a week.

Classes are great. They are done online and teachers such as Eoin make it fun and easy. My children look forward to learning.
Eoin is a fabulous teacher and it makes a huge difference in my children’s learning. They are logging on before class starts looking forward to Eoin’s lessons. He is making learning fun and easier. There confidence has grown so much that schoolwork is “too easy”
They are even looking forward to his classes during mid term breaks. It is wonderful to see the positivity he is bringing to the children about maths.
Four classes per week is great as the children can learn in between training for sports so they won’t be missing out.
Masterclasses are great. I just need the link sent via WhatsApp as I’m not always looking at Instagram so I missed them the last time they were on. Overall they are very good. And grades have gone from “achieved” to “distinction” through Breakthrough Maths
