What a gem!!
What a gem!!! We stayed a night in the Tennessee room. The history and authenticity of the room and property was astounding. Brian was beyond pleasant and the breakfast is a must! The room and bed were so comfortable and the location was perfect for access to both history and shopping. I hope to return!

We have stayed here several times…
We have stayed here several times before. The rooms were beautiful as always. The location can't be beat. They seem to go through management change every few years, and this year was one. Unfortunately, most of the previous staff have left, they are short staffed and it showed. Those who were there were trying to do several jobs at once, so hat's off to them. Hopefully they can hire more in the future. We'll most likely be back.

Well we weren't greeted with the usual…
Well we weren't greeted with the usual hospitality, we were met by a man and woman, he was very nice, the woman just had a grumpy look on her face as they were sitting down to smoke... The housekeeper was very nice, our sheet had a spot on it, she came right in and changed them for us.... We missed Melanie and Sam, as they were always there to greet us... The room was very warm, the air didn't seem to work very well, but it was very hot outside.... We do love it there though....

Really great stay
Our room was IMMACULATE. The inn is quaint and the furnishings give the feel of going back in time. It is quiet and safe. The porch swings are great for enjoying a few quiet moments after a long day of traveling the vast battlefields in Gettysburg. Breakfast offerings were great, and staying at an inn allows for more connections with others staying there, if wanted. Would recommend to anyone going to Gettysburg.

My daughter and I stayed in the New England room. Loved the feel of the Victorian charm all throughout the In. The staff were very pleasant and very knowledgeable not only about history, but also about the tours and places to see. I would definitely stay here again

The Brickhouse/Welty is AMAZING!
We were at The Brickhouse and Welty House for our 40th wedding anniversary. We stayed in the Texas Room. It was comfortable and quiet even though close to attractions. The room was very clean. The air conditioning worked great! We also got the breakfasts which were delicious! The dining room and parlor are very comfortable and lovely. The bed and breakfast is close to almost everything: you can walk! We only drove to the battlefield tour. The staff was nice and attentive.

The room and the entire house was exactly as described. Great communication with the staff. Room was clean & comfortable. Located in the heart of downtown Gettysburg. Easy to visit either the center of town or the Battlefield.

Very enjoyable stay
Very enjoyable stay. Rooms are very clean. Good mix of the old and new. Location is a short walk or drive to many restaurants and attractions in Gettysburg. Breakfast was terrific. Check in and check out went smoothly. Parking is a very short walk to the back of the building.

This was our first time staying at a B&B. Brickhouse Inn is very nice. The rooms are nicely sized and the private bathrooms are great too. The rooms are named after states and it’s like going back in time. Although it’s on the Main Street, it is very peaceful. I would strongly recommend!!! We can’t wait to go back
