A really good day out, that met all my expectations. This is a really good workshop if you want to regain your inspiration for photography and/or want to explore the concepts of moving away from single images to more project based work.

Absolutely loved this photography workshop. Eva took the time to understand our interests and skill levels and made everything feel approachable and supportive. We learned the basics while actually out taking photographs, with helpful suggestions on how to improve shots, use our phone cameras and ideas for what to look for creatively. We explored street photography and graffiti, which was a great way to get started and build confidence. Would definitely recommend for beginners or anyone wanting to develop their eye for photography.

Engaging, informative and hands-on, I really enjoyed this iPhone photography workshop. I particularly enjoyed learning about composition, lighting and editing. Eva explained everything clearly without getting too technical and was incredibly supportive. It's definitely helped me to take better photographs and I'd thoroughly recommend it to anyone interested in photography.

Just finished the 8 week intermediate course and loved every minute. Totally changed my entire way of approaching photography.
Caught in documenting mode, with Eva’s support I feel unblocked and can appreciate being in that moment of creative flow.

Working with Eva has been an inspiring and transformative experience. During my time studying abstract photography with her, I gained far more than technical skills—I developed a completely new way of seeing. Have just completed the 8 week beginner course hosted by the lovely Eva.
Eva made this course fun and taught us so much in a short space of time. I discovered a creative side with photography that I didn’t know I had and learnt so much about my camera and how to take better photos. She made us use each thing she taught us and I looked forward to the homework each week and the constructive feedback to help me grow as a photographer.

I am now officially off automatic and will definitely be booking more course with Eva

Eva gave me a great insight into night photography using new techniques (for me) that were both fun, creative and technically interesting.
The follow up handout helps to cement the advice given on the night.

We love travelling, but not the photos we come home with - Eva has changed all that. She gently guided us through several different principles of photography and editing which helped us feel more confident and able to take good photos. She also introduced us to some editing software and showed us how to use it to good effect. Eva had patience and excellent knowledge, and inspired us with her creativity. Would recommend to anyone looking to improve their smartphone photography for travel, portraits, pets, etc as she was able to adapt to our personal aims. Thanks so much for your help, Eva!

I met Eva for a 1 to 1 day to learn to know how use my camera properly because I was pretty much just leaving it on auto, now I have a much better understanding of not just how to set it up but also why im changing the settings to get the best out of what I'm taking a picture of, we did lots of little practical exercises so I could try out what I had learned and I'm now looking forward to the next time I go out with my camera to put it all to use

I went along to Eva's street photography course and found it very useful. Her theory and technical knowledge is very good and she has a calm & gentle, but hands on approach to guiding you and suggesting things if you get stuck during the practical part of the day. All in all, it was great & I would recommend it even if you already have some street photography experience.

She was very professional and started the day with information and tips on photo techniques. The experience (or lack of) my photography was discussed and the assignments were really worthwhile.
The environment was full of colours, shapes and had a relaxed feel to it.
I'm hoping to enrol in one of her courses again!

Eva has really helped me become more motivated in my photography and put me on the right path. The EVA Method which Eva used made me feel more confident in myself and to have a positive mindset, highly recommended!

This was a three hour, one-to-one online, Life Mapping Workshop with Eva, Life coach and photographer at
Bright-On-Photography. When I first met Eva , her suggestion to do a short, life-mapping workshop (not my intention!) rather than a photography course, all seemed to make sense. The Life Mapping turned out to be enjoyable and motivating. There were quite a few ideas to take in, but all was paced well and explained thoroughly. Eva was very good at answering questions as we went along. She uses clear down-to-earth language and gives memory aids and templates to fill in, to help with goal setting. My tasks for after the course, are to gradually produce a fully personalised, final version of the life map with time frames, to refer to 'as and when'.
Eva advised me to do this in baby steps, which for me, and I guess for many people, is much more do-able. It is early days yet, but I am feeling very positive about the outcome and would recommend this workshop.

Eva was a great tutor and taught me so much on the photography workshop in Brighton. I had limited knowledge on all the options available on my iPhone camera and now have a much better understanding thanks to Eva. My approach to photography will now be more adventurous and I'm looking forward to seeing the results. The editing tuition was extremely helpful.

I chose to work with Eva again because I like her way of teaching. This time we decided a 1-1 mentoring session was the best approach to my problem - I was struggling a lot with my digital camera specifically the focussing settings. Eva supported me to learn to use my camera in fully Manual mode and also helped me to set up back button focus which gave me greater control with focussing and composition.
There is no way without her help I would of managed to do this. I have practiced all that she has taught me and feel so much better about my camera and my photography. I am very much looking forward to enrolling on her flash workshop later in the year. Eva is a wonderful soul and teacher and I highly recommend her if you are looking to improve your photography, technical ability and also unlock creative potential! Thank you Eva!
