Total ripoff. If Bright can do this, what exactly is loansharking? I’d have been better off borrowing from the Mob.

Predatory lending, with no clear information on where you payments are going. 0 of your biweekly payments go towards the principal. I took a $600 loan - desperate times and to pay off I owe $766.00 this after making over 6 payments of $168. Please look into other lenders before using Bright.

Do NOT get a loan from this company unless you intend to never pay it then I say go for it. These loans are the worse, they will take out large amounts of money weekly from your account and the balance keeps going up.

If I could give them 0 starts I would, Once you go to a different job that pays bi weekly instead of every week, they refuse to change it, and keep adding money to your full total so you can never pay it off. They are a joke, I regret ever using them.. I got this loan on July 2025 and haven't gotten it payed off, I have gone into the negatives in my bank account thanks to them.

I was waiting for the funds to hit my account and after 2 business days called and was informed the loan funds were returned due to a typo regarding my account number. The team member cancelled that loan and filled out a new loan application then I was turned down. What is up with this? The original loan was approved, I waited for 2 days for the funds then BANG, I am no longer approved. Will never work with your company again.

Worst company I’ve loaned from. Biweekly payments and out of my $135 payment every 2 weeks, $3 goes to principal. All they could recommend is to pay more. Shitty service, shitty terms. If I had money to pay it down quickly, I wouldn’t have taken out the world’s most expensive $500 loan.

don't do it told me after I paid over 1500 they charge 11 dollars a day so I cut off my bank account to stop payments and they still trying to take money

They are trying to get those reparations from all the white people but they are also taking the blacks and their own. Basically legal loan sharks. If you really need the money go ahead but honestly it’s best to pay who ever you owe in payments cause it’s not worth it. If you borrow $500 they want 3 times back. No thank you I rather borrow from Zip or thru Chime.

Bright Lending issued me a $700 loan at 699.96% APR while I was living in Illinois, where any APR over 36% is illegal and void under the Predatory Loan Prevention Act (815 ILCS 123).

I’ve already paid $344.46, and instead of acknowledging the loan’s illegality, they’re now demanding I pay the rest of the “principal” as a so-called courtesy offer.

This isn’t customer service—it’s a predatory business model operating outside the law. If you’re in a protected state, you do NOT owe them anything.

I’ve reported this to the Illinois Attorney General and encourage others to do the same. Companies like this need to be shut down.

They sent me an email saying I was pre-approved and then denied the loan. I am beginning to wonder if they are just scamming to get people's personal information to sell it on the dark web????

I cannot write a 0 rating review for this robbers . I loan $950 to pay some bills . I paid $233 every 2 weeks and my loan is paid off already plus extra $100 I just gave as interest. However , they still want to scam and steal money .please do not sign anything .Brittany Lending is a predatory loan company that took advantage of people . PLEASE REPORT TO FCC TO SHUT DOWN

For a $950 loan, this company requires 20 minimum payments of $233 bi-weekly, totaling $4,660. I understand that we all have financial needs, but I hope people take the time to realize how much more they’ll end up paying before accepting. HORRIBLE COMPANY.

Definitely a robbery!! I applied and got approved for a 1,000 loan but will have to pay over 5,000 literally a robbery. Definitely not signing that contract this is crazyyyy!! Obviously needed a loan because I'm in need but this is crazy to steal money like that!

Wow wat a rip off this company is for 950 loan they want 20 minimum pays of 240 sumthing biweekly that's near 3000 sumthing in interest charge for 950 triple the amount borrowed ..wat a f*'$& joke you guys should be ashame to rob people like that ..karma is a maf#$@er

This company keeps changing their company ID within the banking system to get around stop payments with your bank. I had to contact national debt relief to get help. They took on bright lending as one of the credits they’re gonna help me with. I put on a stop pay request before the payment even posted, but because this company is greedy asf, they decided to change the internal company ID, which then went around the stop payment. I’m so angry. This payment overdrafted my account. By hundreds of dollars. And they did not care. Do not ever use this company. EVER. They’re rude, useless, and predatory.

Worst company ever! They are robbers! Payback is 6X what the loan was. Way to take advantage of someone! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Very disappointed!

What an F ing joke this company is. Stay far away from using them. They tried to tell me my bank account was invalid because the bank cuts off the last 3 numbers on the account from the bank statements. You're all a bunch of people who have a brain made out of stupidity. Read the information in front of you before you speak and make yourself look stupid.

So I can't give you a zero. I paid back a loan in full and I thought it was a good idea to do it again which I paid back the second loan . So I went to check the app and it stated that I owe more money on the first loan . So I called and they said I paid out without making arrangements for a payout. So I still owe the interest fee. No they took extra money out of my account and had to put it back after speaking with the bank.
They still insist that I owe them on the first loan. They get a big ZERO
