Bristol Website Design was founded from a lifelong passion for technology and creating websites. Our founder Paul Titmuss first discovered coding back in 1987 while still in school. He taught himself 6502 assembler language and BASIC, spending hours creating simple computer applications and games – sparking a passion for the craft. Later in the 1990s, Paul began learning early web languages and creating basic website designs for friends’ businesses. Though humble by today’s standards, Paul fell in love with the then-new frontier of web design. He slowly grew his client roster through word-of-mouth while keeping his day job. Over the following decade, demand for Paul’s web services expanded exponentially as more businesses moved online. Motivated by the ability to help companies from all backgrounds strengthen their web presence, Paul made the leap to running his web design hustle full-time in the 2000s. During 2023, Paul reached out to the local Bridgwater & Taunton College (now USC College Group) so he could offer work experience to some of the students. This has started a long-term partnership with the college and allowed Paul to expand the Bristol Website Design team to 5 people, including a graphic designer, web development team and website designers & SEO professionals. In May 2026, we won the “Technical Pathways Partner of the Year” at USC College group’s work experience awards night. We take great pride in being able to offer quality work experience to young aspiring adults who look to develop their careers in tech. Our Agency Today, Paul leads a small but very capable team of designers, developers and writers – serving clients across the UK as well as internationally in the US, Middle East and Australia. While technology has changed tremendously, the mission remains the same – creating custom websites for each client that effectively promote their business and get results. Paul’s lifelong passion drives Bristol Website Design’s commitment to understanding each business we work with and delivering tailored solutions that help them grow for years to come. Community work Paul has been working closely with Bridgwater & Taunton College over the last few years and is committed to nurturing the talents of local students. Since 2023, Bristol Website Design Ltd has taken 8 students through their work placements, 3 of whom now work as permanent employees of the company.
