They helped me solve a problem I was having on my internet provider's website

I ran into an issue when trying to purchase a broadband contract through Broadband Genie. The checkout flow with the provider was not working correctly, which meant I couldn’t complete the order with the advertised discount.

When I contacted the internet provider directly, their support team was unable to resolve the issue and suggested that the offer no longer existed.

The Broadband Genie team, and Adam in particular, took ownership of the situation and resolved it within a week. The issue was escalated and fixed, allowing me to proceed with the contract as expected.

As a result, I was also issued a voucher, which was a positive addition to the experience.

Separately, Broadband Genie stands out compared to similar comparison services due to the breadth of providers available on the platform, including a wide range of mobile and broadband operators.

You need to call them to confirm

I used Broadband Genie to switch to Rise Fibre. Rise confirmed that Broadband Genie failed to notify my previous supplier of the one time switch and therefore I have had to pay £92 to my old provider to avoid legal action. Lucky from Rise advised that all customers of Broadband Genie should call up to check that the one-time switch has been processed. BroadbandGenie provide quick professional responses

Firstly to introduce myself, my name is Chris and I am the Interim MD at Broadband Genie. I wanted to confirm we do not notify any previous suppliers when customers switch providers. Your new provider should handle the entire process on your behalf, including canceling your old service.

Further to this I have received feedback from Rise Fibre on this switch and they have listened to the phone call between yourself and their telesales agent and have provided the following information:

"Unfortunately the customer’s statement isn’t reflective to what is on the call with our team. The agent had mentioned that if OTS wasn’t showing as expected they should have sought advice on OTS before completing the order and tried to support the customer. OTS wasn’t completed at the time of the sale.

Overall, unfortunately it seems like the customer misunderstood the OTS process and the consequence of what not processing it meant for themselves."

Was sold a 5g three mobile broadband…

Was sold a 5g three mobile broadband deal that was advertised as 200mbps when it averages 1mbps. Three broadband is appalling and broadband genie totally mis-sold the package based on totally falsely advertised speeds. Three broadband customer service is pretty awful too and they seem to have no real clue about the speeds and services you should receive or how to address issues with network coverage. Desperately disappointed with my experience in every way possible. Provided Broadband Genie with postcode 16 days ago and still no response as to why they are falsely advertising these packages. UPDATE I provided information requested below but broadband genie and three have done nothing with jt

Promised a no hassle £50 credit for using them to switch to Three.Unbeknownst to me the link between Broadband Genie and Three had not registered my switch to enable such a voucher to be forthcoming.Head of marketing Peter Ames underwent a thorough investigation,and although still not reimbursed yet by Three has been kind enough to provide my chosen vouchers in rapid time.Thanks Pete for all your thoroughness and expedience enabling a high experience score.Well done.

Never received vouchers

Used them to Get Vodafone Fibre Broadband never got my vouchers they said I would get been with Vodafone 12 months now emailed Broadband Genie and got a generic email wouldn't recommend them.
**Update had a response on the 27/04/26 From P/A who works for Broadband Genie asking for additional information like my Web order date ordered and voucher value and asked to send to there requested team I have done this on the same day and have heard nothing so once again this falls on deaf ears!!

Urgent safeguarding

I'm waiting for my 140 pound gift card I've email yourself giftcloud and vodaphone as I am under safeguarding after a victim of assault to relise the Token so I can use it for food obviously dosnt read there urgent emails mp and solicitors involved re safeguarding and vunlability they can override and send the token I signed up in jan Vodafone agree Hooe this can be resolved today by a human not a template
