Been ordering and using the "Blue Mountain Medium Roast Coffee Beans 1kg" for over a year now and very happy. I like the 1kg bags which seal nicely and are large enough to not have to re-order all the time. Would highly recommend!

I've used Brown Bear coffee for several years - mainly La Vida. Great when it's freshly roasted, but sometimes it's not. It appears to be roasted in batches every few months. There's no roast date on the packs, only a "best before" which (they told me) is 18 months from roast. That's silly! Coffee is best within 1 month of roasting, after 2 months it's past it's best. My last batch appeared to be more than 2 months old, and tasted like it. This isn't the first time a batch has been delivered 2-3 months after roasting, but most batches have been good. Come on, Brown Bear - roast more often!

Really nice coffee, fabulous selection of coffees and you can try smaller pouches. Arrived very quickly and the smell when you open the package is magnificent!

We've received our fourth coffee today, a new one for our taste buds. Looking forward to trying this one, but the next one we'll buy is the black mamba. Very quick despatch and delivery. Always nice to do business with a champion for change working in partnership with Free the Bears. Great coffee whilst making a positive impact in the world. Great business!

Brown Bear Cub Espresso is my go to for my morning oat milk latte, I drink a lot of coffee and have tried several brands and blends, however this is my favourite.
The flavour is strong enough to punch through the milk yet its not too strong that its overpowering.

The real colombian single estate is like being back in Colombia. If you want to taste daily Colombia,this is it.

I must leave negative review. I ordered from brown bear directly at their early age and everything was good. Now I went back to them and ordered directly from their website. I was gobsmacked what I received. There was no date of roasting on any of the bags. Instead they only state the date of best before. One bag was expiring the same month, meaning I probably received 23 months old coffee. The remaining were all within the year best before. I contacted customer service and their answer was this: We don't have a roast date on the bags because as we supply Amazon we have to follow their guidelines.
Now I ordered from a roastery directly thinking I will receive freshly roasted coffee. I could have ordered from amazon with much faster delivery otherwise. Very disappointed and will never order again. You can tell the difference in old stale coffee beans...

Update: The response from Customer service: There should not be old stock lying around. And shipping out coffee that expires this month is unacceptable.
I will be investigating what's happened here and I will issue a full refund.

Love their coffee! I'm on my second bag after first trying the Peru blend and now I'm going to try the Blue Mountain.

I love their packaging and also that they help bears in captivity. A fantastic cause to be supporting.

I also really like the bean rewards you can save up to get perks like money off.

This is my second purchase. I love how strong the coffee is. I have to get up very early and this coffee helps to wake up and get ready for work quickly.

Have used Brown Bear for years and am very pleased with the coffee beans they send great taste and am impressed by their move to reduce plastic waste in their packaging.

Unfortunately I'm very disappointed in the coffee bags. Although I have to drink decaf coffee I love the taste of strong coffee . I had your coffee at a restaurant and loved the taste and strength of it, so much that I had 3 cups of it. It had a great aroma and taste almost as if it wasn't decaffeinated (it definitely was decaffeinated because my reaction is so vad to caffeine I would have felt it immediately). I expected the coffee bags to compare with the taste. I've been sorely disappointed. I've tried preparing the coffee using a few different methods it is always weak and tasteless.

Absolutely brilliant coffee... Excellent delivery and communication. Difficult to find fault.

Highly recommend the Brown Bear coffee. Recently ordered 3 bags of their Ultra dark coffee range. I must say, very very good quality coffee. Great taste. I will be ordering again for sure.
