The quality of the item and the packaging.

I am extremely disappointed with how Browns Shoes handled a very simple customer-service issue involving a promotional coupon.

From the beginning, I was told by Customer Care that I was mistaken about the coupon’s expiration date. I had to send a screenshot of the actual coupon as evidence showing what it clearly stated before they acknowledged that the coupon itself displayed a different date.

Even after that, instead of simply correcting the problem, I was told that if the coupon does not work in the store, I should pay the full $200 price for the shoes and then contact Browns Shoes afterward so they can manually apply the 15% discount to that purchase.

Why should I have to jump through all these hoops and pay $200 upfront to receive a discount that should simply work at the time of purchase?

I have been a regular Browns Shoes customer, and this experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. It should not be this difficult to resolve a straightforward promotional coupon issue. This is not the level of customer service I expected from Browns Shoes.

The shoes surpassed my expectations in quality, look and fit. Love them, love supporting our Canadian stores and brands!
