Recently enrolled on L4 Nutrition and doing it Self paced. Advice has been great and materials top notch and fill no question is a silly one. Lots of support on hand and knowing help on hand gives me confidence to complete this course and make a difference to clients in future

I've done the Foundation Academy and I'm currently mid way through the Practical Academy. All I can say is that I'm very impressed at the level of detail that has gone into both of these courses. At times the information can be tricky to process, as some of the topics are complicated. But, it gives you a great understanding of how the human body works, with great detail on how to practically apply what you've learnt to yourself and others.

I’ve been following Ben and BTN for years and I signed up to their free content a few weeks back. The way it’s structured and the content was fantastic so I decided to enrol on the Level 4 self paced course. The purchase procedure was simple and the emails and high quality course handbooks that followed all came through quicker than suggested. I’m already getting stuck into it and can’t wait to keep learning! 😃

The course as a general was great I learnt so much. Very knowledgeable coaching team. Some of it however could have been more clear or planned slightly better. If someone is off sick playing old recordings isn't all the best option. The books you receive are great but the keto section in my opinion should be in the first part due to the fact that there are keto questions in every assignment but the actual section on keto is very late on in the order.

Other than these little issues which I have the overall course was really great and I will always recommend btn.

I have loved the personal touch when I showed interest in the courses. The zoom calls enabled me to ask questions and make sure the course was right for me. I am now set and ready to start the Foundation and Practical Academy and easily have found access online in my account. Now to enjoy the course and my new career pathway.

I completed the BTN Academy a few years ago and still to this day believe it to be one of the best investments I have made in my career. I still have access to this day to all materials, lectures, support and have found the guidance and expertise from the coaches to be invaluable. Highly recommend!

Well worth the investment if you are looking to level up your business and gain knowledge on nutrition and beyond. The support and course materials are excellent as well as Facebook community. Having the physical books is also fantastic. Very much evidence based and a very enjoyable course.

I am doing the self paced practical course, it is very informative and interesting.

I completed the course back in 2014 as it was simply life changing. I was living outside the UK at the time and the support I received was outstanding. The quality and depth of the modules together with the expertise of the coaches gave me the tools to support all my clients as well as myself.

Despite “graduating”nearly a decade ago it hasn’t stopped there…..to this day BTN still provide updates and then there’s the community, and you can’t put a price on that.

I finished the BTN Practical Academy in October 2020. Although the Pandemic threw a spanner in the works, I have gone ahead and been practising as a Nutrition Coach since then and am very close to making the transition from permanent full-time employment into a fully self-employed Coach!
The course was incredible and the support (especially through the pandemic) was out of this world.
All the tutors were excellent and you are welcome to contact them personally with any questions throughout the course and beyond.
Tom was the main tutor and his delivery is truly non-bias and he clearly demonstrates his in-depth knowledge all the way through. His delivery is brilliant, he can break down highly complex concepts and processes in such a way that everyone leaves the course with a good understanding.

The BTN Practical Academy is tough, make no mistake! The science parts require some background/basic understanding. Each module is covered in depth through reading the textbooks, then attending a webinar that delivers more value and different examples from the text, and then short tests (not graded) to check your understanding. And as mentioned, you have the tutors to ask questions all the way through.
Consider the Foundation Course if you need to brush up on your basic biology and science.

There are over 40 modules and various case-studies along the way, plus you get entry to the annual BTN live conference and any other webinars that they run publicly. Everything is covered from reading and finding research, motivational interviewing, lots of different specific population types, sports nutrition, online 1-1 and group coaching, etc etc.

The exams are online, open-book, and time-limited. But you have a window of a few weeks in which to start your attempt (and then you have 48 hours to complete). The pass mark is HIGH, but if you fail - you get amazing feedback and guidance, have time to do some more reading, and then can re-submit just those questions you struggled with. Again, the support from Tom here is top class.
Finally, and importantly, when the course is finished, you retain access to the course materials and online resources for LIFE, which I have tapped into on occasion. There is also a back-catalogue of BTN Business Modules to help you set up. Awesome!

Massive value in the BTN Practical Academy. I would recommend it to anyone wishing to add solid Nutrition Coaching knowledge and skills to their offering, or to make that switch into the world of Nutrition Coaching.

Since qualifying in 2019 I have quit my day job and am now a self employed Nutrition Coach!
It was a dream that BTN helped make a reality and for that I will be forever grateful.
The content was thorough and at times very challenging but that’s what creates great evidence based coaches.
Tom and the team made the whole process enjoyable and more manageable. It takes commitment if you’re planning to study alongside a full time job/busy family life but it’s so worth the sacrifice.
I would highly recommend this course for anyone wanting to enter the world of nutrition.

I studied on the BTN academy a little while back and I was very impressed. I was really interested in the content as I already had a huge passion for nutrition. Whilst the content was great I came away with much more than just knowledge. I discovered the area I wanted to focus on more and ultimately steer my business in that direction. Before the course I was truly struggling to find my niche and from a few of the modules I was able to find that clarity. Also, I was really impressed by the way the course focuses on preparing you to use nutrition as a business and I definitely was able to implement what I learnt immediately to further succeed in my business. In all I found the tutors, the structure of the course and the support from staff and other students top class. Highly recommend the experience.

I had always struggled with my weight. But a very fit person, I always seemed to fall short of performance. I stumbled upon the foundation course with BTN through the Ben Coomber pod cast and quickly realised it was nutrition that was the key to my personal fitness success. After completing the course I was fascinated with the real world evidence based teaching and wanted to learn more so it was a natural step to move on to and complete the practical academy course. Both courses were well set up, delivered and supported. The literature supplied was the same and complimented with interactive webinar sessions and social media support groups. These courses were well written, easy to digest, with illistrations again to support learning. The team and community you become a part of are a continuous support network quick in responce and I felt this helped my progress. There is a wonderful and passionate team behind-the-scenes, who love what they do.
It’s been almost five years since I completed the course, and even though it was possible, I never intended to use this qualification in a professional manner. My learning is purely personal. However, this information has been a continuous influence in my success within fitness and my new found love of ultra running, where nutrition is especially important. I’ve also been able to apply the knowledge within my work environment given seminars about the importance of nutrition and helpped colleagues, friends and family with the nutrition aspect of their fitness journeys.
I still use the things I have learnt on a daily basis and my only regret is not finding the BTN academy sooner.

A really thorough and evidence based course. I really liked the variety of quality tutors who were always happy to answer questions and go over any questions.I’ve used the qualification every single day in my private life and with every client I work with professionally as a Personal Trainer.
