I used BudaPack for my move from Budapest to Spain, and they were absolutely outstanding. The team was professional, punctual, and incredibly careful with every part of the process. They handled all my belongings with real attention and made what could have been a stressful international move feel completely smooth and easy. Communication was clear, everything arrived on time, and the whole experience was far better than I expected. I highly recommend BudaPack to anyone planning a move, truly excellent service!

I have used Budapack twice to ship consignments from Hungary to the UK. The first experience was fine. The second was TERRIBLE, causing us enormous stress and costing us many hundreds of pounds of losses.

At the start of the pickup day, we told the moving team to speak with us if the truck was getting full, so that we could prioritize what to load, with the intention to give away anything non-essential that wouldn’t fit in the truck, to local friends. The movers did not do this, and by the end of the day we were left with piles of stuff we didn’t need on the truck, piles of stuff we did need still in boxes in our courtyard, and things split between the truck and the courtyard with no coordination at all. We had our wardrobes on the truck, but not the doors of them, half our dining chairs and office chairs on the truck and half off, our son’s bed on, but his mattress and bedding off, and so on and so on. The movers apologized, blaming it on how hot the day had been, and assured us sincerely that everything would be sorted out. They took our remaining stuff to the warehouse to be sent on later.

Unfortunately, once we started dealing with the head office staff, the situation completely changed. Once they had our stuff in their warehouse, it was like their attitude was to charge us as much as they could get away with, despite knowing exactly how the situation had arisen from their colleagues' mistakes. They tried to charge us for an additional half truckload, and even when we demonstrated to them that the remaining stuff filled less than a third of a truck they responded that they would charge us for half a truck anyway because “this is my right“ - a literal quote from their email. When we arranged shipping with another provider for a much lower price, Budapack then refused to release our property to the other company unless we paid them an absurdly inflated invoice for a string of charges that they seem to invent on the spot. They only backed down 12 hours before pick up was scheduled, when our correspondence to them became legal in tone.

An absolutely shocking lack of integrity and basic human decency, from a company that purports to be the most reputable shipper in Hungary.

They are… truly nicest moving company ever in Budapest.
I had to move to Germany from Budapest with lots of stuff.
I asked around few different moving companies but the Budapack team was the nicest and reliable company that I could trust.
Communication was fantastic. I usually get a reply within one hour.
The fee was reasonable. I also got a student discount… wow.
I had dishes and electronics in the boxes and they were all brought without any damages!
Budapack picked all my 10 boxes on Friday and delivered to me on the next week in Germany. The delivery guy was suuuuppppper nice too.
I highly highly recommend this place for moving to different country.
